Hazrat Nizamuddin was the one who realised that he was not the body or mind; he was the soul. He always used to sit under a tree and feel the bliss. If someone gives him something to eat, he will eat; otherwise, it is all ok. Kabhi gaana Kabhi Mutthi Bhar chana kabhi wo bhi Mana. He was the one who has realised God, and once you realise God, you don’t need anything else.
Because of his aura, a lot of people used to come and visit. They come with their desires, and their desires used to get fulfilled. One of the men among them was very poor, and he wanted to get her daughter married. He used to come to see Hazrat Nizamuddin and ask for money on a daily basis.
Hazrat Nizamuddin didn’t have a single penny, so he didn’t respond to the man. One day the man repeatedly asked Hazrat Nizamuddin for help, and in response to that, Hazrat Nizamuddin gave him his slippers. The man thought, “What kind of saint he is, but something is better than nothing”. So, with a very heavy heart, he took the slippers and started walking. His house was across the jungle.
In the same jungle, Amir Khusro was passing by with his soldiers and carts filled with treasure and necessary items. Amir Khusro was also a disciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin. Amir Khusro smelled the presence of Hazrat Nizamuddin. He thought somewhere in the jungle, my guru is there. He asked his soldiers to look out in the jungle for his guru, Hazrat Nizamuddin.
They couldn’t find Hazrat Nizamuddin, but they found a person carrying the slippers of Hazrat Nizamuddin. Amir Khusro asked the soldiers to bring that person to him. Amir Khusro fell down at the feet of the person carrying those slippers and said, “You are taking my Satguru’s slipper with you. Please give me these slippers and take whatever I have with me, even my soldiers.”
The man wanted money for his daughter’s wedding, so he took everything and went. Amir Khurso said the deal was of a very small amount. You think Amir Khurso gave everything, but in reality, he got the most precious thing in return.
Amir Khusro went to the place where Hazrat Nizamuddin was sitting and gave him the slippers. Hazrat Nizamuddin just smiled. It was at the very end of the life of Hazrat Nizamuddin. Hazrat Nizamuddin had decided that this was the time when the physical body should depart.
Amir Khusro’s reason to come here was to take care of his family, which is why he brought all the things with him. Now that he has donated all the items, he himself looks after his guru.
Hazrat Nizamuddin was sleeping on one side, and Amir Khusro was massaging Hazrat Nizamuddin’s legs. Amir Khusro just had a thought in his mind: “Is he a real Satguru?” Hazrat Nizamuddin just turned to the other side and said, “You also turn.” In a code word, Hazrat Nizamuddin answered the question of Amir Khusro. He meant, “Yes, I have become one with God, and you have also changed your thoughts towards God.”

Someone said, “God gives whatever we ask for. As the man asked for money in the end, he got the money. Amir Khusro Ji wanted to become one with God, so he got that. So, I have understood we have to ask God from God himself and nothing else.” Teacher said, “Correct. Have faith, and someday you will get that. Doubts might come today, but they are coming to go away.”
Someone said, “The man asked for money from Hazrat Nizamuddin, but he gave him his slippers. The man didn’t understand the value of that slipper, but later on he got what he wished for. Similarly, we think God is not helping, but he helps us in a way we do not realise. We want everything we ask for immediately, and this way we get stuck in things.” Teacher said, “Have faith now; you will not be stuck in those things. Doubt will come, but it will end subtly, and you will not even realise it. We are humans, so doubts will come. We still have “I,” so doubts come, but when you are in the present, you can feel the Anand. Whenever you think about the future, doubt will come. More doubts will come when you think about your children’s future. In that case, surrender the children to God, and the doubts will go away.”
A boy said, “I still get doubtful.” Teacher said, “No worries, doubtful, you will become doubtless. It is good that doubts are coming. When doubt comes, we give thought to what is wrong and right. Only listening to something and believing it doesn’t help. Listen to things and then think about what has been said. God ends our doubts and makes us feel his presence, and that is important.” He said, “I only ask God to keep me in the present moment.” Teacher said, “That is the biggest present: to live in the present moment.”
A lady said, “Satguru doesn’t need our materialistic things; he just wants our Mann. As in the story, Amir Khusro Ji was going to take care of his guru with all the materialistic things necessary. But Hazrat Nizamuddin made him free of all those burdens, and then Amir Khusro reached Hazrat Nizamuddin Ji. Then he took care of Hazrat Nizamuddin and, in the end, became one with God. So, we can become one with God by Guru’s grace and letting go of our materialistic desire.”
A lady said, “I have understood that Guru’s blessing in form is so important for us if we have trust in it. The person who got it didn’t know the value of it because he wanted something else from God. The one who really wished that could smell and meet the guru.” The teacher said, “That is Guru’s love. He loved both of them equally. He gave his slippers to that man and not to Amir Khusro. The man didn’t know the importance of it because he had other responsibilities. It is not that Guru’s love was less for any of them, but Amir Khusro’s love was more for Hazrat Nizamuddin than that man.” She said, “The whole world is running on faith. If you have faith that God is there, then he is there otherwise.” Teacher said, “God is still there irrespective of your faith, but if you do not have faith, you suffer. So faith in whatever happened and is happening is for your betterment. It is happening to bring you close to God.”
हजरत निजामुद्दीन और अमीर खुसरो

हजरत निजामुद्दीन के पास एक पैसा भी नहीं था, इसलिए उन्होंने उस आदमी को जवाब नहीं दिया। एक दिन उस शख्स ने बार-बार हजरत निजामुद्दीन से मदद मांगी और उसके जवाब में हजरत निजामुद्दीन ने उन्हें अपनी चप्पलें दे दीं। आदमी ने सोचा, “वह किस तरह का संत है, लेकिन कुछ भी नहीं से बेहतर है”। इसलिए, बहुत भारी मन से, उसने चप्पल ली और चलने लगा। उसका घर जंगल के पार था।
उसी जंगल में अमीर खुसरो अपने सैनिकों और खजाने और जरूरी सामान से भरी गाड़ियों के साथ वहां से गुजर रहे थे। अमीर खुसरो भी हजरत निजामुद्दीन के शिष्य थे। अमीर खुसरो को हजरत निजामुद्दीन की मौजूदगी की गंध आ रही थी। उसने सोचा कि कहीं जंगल में, मेरे गुरु वहां हैं। उन्होंने अपने सैनिकों से अपने गुरु हजरत निजामुद्दीन के लिए जंगल में देखने के लिए कहा।
उन्हें हजरत निजामुद्दीन नहीं मिला, लेकिन उन्हें हजरत निजामुद्दीन की चप्पल ले जाने वाला एक व्यक्ति मिला। अमीर खुसरो ने सैनिकों से उस व्यक्ति को अपने पास लाने के लिए कहा। अमीर खुसरो उन चप्पलों को ले जा रहे व्यक्ति के चरणों में गिर पड़े और बोले, “आप मेरे सतगुरु की चप्पल अपने साथ ले जा रहे हैं। कृपया मुझे ये चप्पल दें और मेरे पास जो कुछ भी है, उसे ले जाएं, यहां तक कि मेरे सैनिक भी।
शख्स अपनी बेटी की शादी के लिए पैसे चाहता था, इसलिए वह सब कुछ लेकर चला गया। अमीर खुर्सो ने कहा कि सौदा बहुत कम राशि का था। आपको लगता है कि अमीर खुर्सो ने सब कुछ दिया, लेकिन वास्तव में, उन्हें बदले में सबसे कीमती चीज मिली।
अमीर खुसरो उस जगह गए जहां हजरत निजामुद्दीन बैठे थे और उन्हें चप्पलें दीं। हजरत निजामुद्दीन बस मुस्कुराए। यह हजरत निजामुद्दीन के जीवन के अंत में था। हजरत निजामुद्दीन ने तय किया था कि यही वह समय था जब भौतिक शरीर को विदा कर देना चाहिए।
अमीर खुसरो के यहां आने का कारण अपने परिवार का ख्याल रखना था, यही वजह है कि वह अपने साथ सारी चीजें लेकर आए थे। अब जब उन्होंने सभी वस्तुओं को दान कर दिया है, तो वह खुद अपने गुरु की देखभाल करते हैं।
हजरत निजामुद्दीन एक तरफ सो रहे थे, और अमीर खुसरो हजरत निजामुद्दीन के पैरों की मालिश कर रहे थे। अमीर खुसरो के मन में बस एक विचार था: “क्या वह एक असली सतगुरु है? हजरत निजामुद्दीन बस दूसरी तरफ मुड़े और बोले, “तुम भी मुड़ो। एक कोड वर्ड में हजरत निजामुद्दीन ने अमीर खुसरो के सवाल का जवाब दिया। उनका मतलब था, “हाँ, मैं परमेश्वर के साथ एक हो गया हूँ, और तुमने भी परमेश्वर के प्रति अपने विचारों को बदल दिया है।

एक लड़के ने कहा, “मैं समझ गया हूं कि भगवान सभी को अपने साथ एक होने का मौका देते हैं, लेकिन हम इन भौतिकवादी चीजों में फंस जाते हैं और भगवान को दोष देते हैं कि उसने हमें मौका नहीं दिया है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “अच्छा। आपको मौका मिला है, इसलिए अभ्यास करते रहें और उनके साथ एक हो जाएं।
किसी ने कहा, “हम जो भी मांगते हैं भगवान उसे देता है। जैसे ही आदमी ने अंत में पैसे मांगे, उसे पैसे मिल गए। अमीर खुसरो जी ईश्वर के साथ एक होना चाहते थे, इसलिए उन्हें वह मिल गया। इसलिए, मैं समझ गया हूं कि हमें भगवान से खुद से मांगना होगा और कुछ नहीं। शिक्षक ने कहा, “सही है। विश्वास रखें, और किसी दिन आपको यह मिल जाएगा। संदेह आज आ सकता है, लेकिन वे दूर होने के लिए आ रहे हैं।
किसी ने कहा, “उस आदमी ने हजरत निजामुद्दीन से पैसे मांगे, लेकिन उसने उसे अपनी चप्पलें दे दीं। आदमी को उस चप्पल का मूल्य समझ में नहीं आया, लेकिन बाद में उसे वह मिल गया जो उसने चाहा था। इसी तरह, हमें लगता है कि भगवान मदद नहीं कर रहा है, लेकिन वह हमारी मदद करता है जिस तरह से हमें एहसास नहीं होता है। हम वह सब कुछ चाहते हैं जो हम तुरंत मांगते हैं, और इस तरह हम चीजों में फंस जाते हैं। शिक्षक ने कहा, “अब विश्वास रखो; आप उन चीजों में नहीं फंसेंगे। संदेह आएगा, लेकिन यह सूक्ष्म रूप से समाप्त हो जाएगा, और आप इसे महसूस भी नहीं करेंगे। हम इंसान हैं, इसलिए संदेह पैदा होगा। हमारे पास अभी भी “मैं” है, इसलिए संदेह आता है, लेकिन जब आप वर्तमान में होते हैं, तो आप आनंद को महसूस कर सकते हैं। जब भी आप भविष्य के बारे में सोचेंगे, संदेह आएगा। जब आप अपने बच्चों के भविष्य के बारे में सोचेंगे तो अधिक संदेह आएगा। उस स्थिति में, बच्चों को परमेश्वर को समर्पित करो, और संदेह दूर हो जाएगा।
एक लड़के ने कहा, “मुझे अभी भी संदेह है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “कोई चिंता नहीं, संदेह है, आप निस्संदेह हो जाएंगे। यह अच्छी बात है कि संदेह आ रहे हैं। जब संदेह आता है, तो हम सोचते हैं कि क्या गलत है और क्या सही है। केवल कुछ सुनने और उस पर विश्वास करने से मदद नहीं मिलती है। बातों को सुनें और फिर सोचें कि क्या कहा गया है। परमेश् वर हमारे संदेहों को समाप्त करता है और हमें उसकी उपस्थिति का एहसास कराता है, और यह महत्वपूर्ण है। उन्होंने कहा, “मैं केवल भगवान से प्रार्थना करता हूं कि मुझे वर्तमान क्षण में रखें। शिक्षक ने कहा, “यह सबसे बड़ा उपहार है: वर्तमान क्षण में जीना।
एक स्त्री ने कहा, “सतगुरु को हमारी भौतिकवादी वस्तुओं की आवश्यकता नहीं है; वह सिर्फ हमारे आदमी को चाहता है। जैसा कि कहानी में है, अमीर खुसरो जी आवश्यक सभी भौतिकवादी चीजों के साथ अपने गुरु की देखभाल करने जा रहे थे। लेकिन हजरत निजामुद्दीन ने उन्हें उन सभी बोझों से मुक्त कर दिया, और फिर अमीर खुसरो हजरत निजामुद्दीन जी के पास पहुंचे। फिर उन्होंने हजरत निजामुद्दीन की देखभाल की और अंत में खुदा से एक हो गए। इसलिए, हम कभी भी भगवान के साथ एक नहीं हो सकते।
एक महिला ने कहा, “मैं समझ गई हूं कि रूप में गुरु का आशीर्वाद हमारे लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है अगर हमें उस पर भरोसा है। जिस व्यक्ति को यह मिला, वह इसके मूल्य को नहीं जानता था क्योंकि वह परमेश्वर से कुछ और चाहता था। वह जो वास्तव में चाहता था कि गुरु को सूंघा जा सके और मिल सके। शिक्षक ने कहा, “यह गुरु का प्रेम है। वह दोनों को समान रूप से प्यार करता था। उसने अपनी चप्पलें उस आदमी को दीं, अमीर खुसरो को नहीं। आदमी को इसका महत्व नहीं पता था क्योंकि उसके पास अन्य जिम्मेदारियां थीं। ऐसा नहीं है कि गुरु का प्यार उनमें से किसी के लिए कम था, लेकिन अमीर खुसरो का प्यार उस आदमी से ज्यादा हजरत निजामुद्दीन के लिए था। उन्होंने कहा, “पूरी दुनिया आस्था पर चल रही है। यदि आपको विश्वास है कि भगवान वहां है, तो वह अन्यथा है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “भगवान अभी भी आपके विश्वास के बावजूद हैं, लेकिन यदि आपके पास विश्वास नहीं है, तो आप पीड़ित हैं। इसलिए जो कुछ भी हुआ और हो रहा है उस पर विश्वास आपकी बेहतरी के लिए है। यह आपको भगवान के करीब लाने के लिए हो रहा है।
