Today’s story is about a person who can’t stay hungry even for a single day. That is his one weakness. He does not do much; he just eats and relaxes. His family was worried about him and finally got frustrated with his attitude and asked him to leave the house and do something. Now, with no money or livelihood, he does not know what to do. He gets hungry, and as he is travelling, he sees a temple. Outside the temple, he sees some healthy people.
So, he goes to the pandit ji and asks, “What do you do?”
Panditji replies, “We praise the Lord and repeat His name.”
The person replies, “I will also do the same. Do we get food here?”
Panditji says, “Yes, you will get proper food three times a day.”
Listening to this, the person was ecstatic. He wanted just this. One day, there was no preparation for breakfast going on. He got upset and went to the head Panditji to ask why there was no breakfast.
Head replied, “Today is a day of fast. It is Ekadashi.”
The person got very upset and anxious. Now what will I do? he thought. I will die. He starts begging the head for some food. Seeing him plead incessantly, head Panditji has mercy on him and tells him to take some raw materials like rice and lentils and cook the food in the forest nearby. But first, call God; once He eats, only you eat. The person was happy.
So, he takes some raw material that would be enough for his three meals and starts cooking. The food got ready, and he was hungry. He remembers Panditji’s words. He calls out to God with all earnestness, “Siya Ramji, come fast”. So Ramji and Sitaji both come. He gets disheartened that I had called one and now three people will eat this food. He has no option but to serve them, which he does. His food gets passed among the three people. He is a bit happy, considering he got to eat something, and slowly starts walking back to the temple.
Once back, Panditji asks, “Are you alright?” He says, “Yes, I am fine.”
Panditji asks, “Did you call God?” He replies, “Yes, I did, and they ate as well.”
The person asked, “Will there be another Ekadashi again?” Panditji replied, “Yes, there will be 2 Ekadashi every month.” A person said, “Then give me more raw material next time because God eats a lot.” Panditji thinks he must be eating a lot, hence doing all this drama. Next time, let us give him a bit more.
Now, in the next Ekadashi, he knows when it is coming, and he gets more raw material. He calls upon the god, SiyaRamji, come,” once the food is cooked. This time, Lord Ram brings Lakshmanji as well. So now there are four people. He is upset, but what can he do? Seeing them and their faces, he serves them.
He goes back to the temple. Once back, Panditji again asks, “All right with you?”
The person replies, “Yes, everything is fine, but next time give me even more raw material for the food.”
Panditji becomes suspicious. So, next time, he sends a few of his people to keep an eye on him. The person asks for material for five people, considering Ramji might bring one more person this time. Panditji gives him material for 10 people instead. Seeing this makes the person very happy. He thinks I will have enough food this time.
Once the food is cooked, he calls upon the god again, SiyaRamji, come”. This time, Lord Ram brings the whole Sena. The person gets worried seeing the whole Vanar Sena. In frustration, he says, You all eat; I will not eat today, and turns his back towards the food and the sena.
The people who were sent to spy are not able to see what is happening but are only able to hear some voices. Sitaji comes to the person and says, “Don’t worry, I will make more food and feed everyone.”
The person says, “Yes, Ma, you only do it; I don’t know how we will be able to make food for so many with such a small portion of raw material.”
Now, when Sitaji touched the food, it became Prashad, and more people started to come, even sanyasis. Seeing this person, I was just sitting and thinking how so many people will get food. He was very hungry.”
The people who had come for spying were not able to see anything but listen to noises. They went back to bring Panditji to the scene. Panditji could see there were so many people in the forest, but he could not see Lord Ram or Sita Ma. Panditji also gets confused.
At last, Sitaji comes to the person and gives him Prashad as well, which is like a tablespoon of food. The person is happy to finally get something, but at the same time, he is disappointed that he got only a tablespoon. However, once he eats that, he is not hungry anymore.
He says to himself, “Next time, I will bring enough food for all these people”. As soon as he gets this thought, Panditji comes to him and asks, “What are you doing?”
The person replies, “Are you not seeing? I call one God, and they bring all these people.” Now, Panditji can’t see them. A person in desperation asks God to give darshan to Panditji, or else he will not give him any food next time. The gods obliged to the request and showed themselves to Panditji as well.
The person finally asks Lord Ram, “When I call you only, why do you bring all?”
Lord Ram replies, “How do you call us?”
Person replies, SiyaRamji, come.”
Lord Ram smiles and replies, “Then when you call us both, that means you call us all, as we are in everyone, and everyone is within us. So, all of us will come.”
The person says, “From next Ekadashi, you bring the food, which is exactly what happens. Sita Ma brings the food and gives him every Ekadashi.”

An old lady said, “You need to have that kind of purity wherein even God feels and comes to you. So, we need to recite the Lord’s name with that purity.” Teacher added, “Yes, but feel the Lord when taking the name and not just reciting the name.”
A gentleman said, “What I understood from today’s story is about faith and innocence. When we talk about spirituality, it is all about these two aspects.” Teacher added, “Faith will come only when reasoning is removed. Until you use your logic, it will not work. Work on giving it up.”
Another gentleman said, “The person followed Panditji’s word, so he waited till the time God came and ate. After that, he started eating. His gesture to follow the words and earnest desire to eat his food only after God came and ate ensured that God came.
A Kid said, “We need to have patience like the person had.” Another kid added, “I understood that we have to offer our food first to God and then eat with the same love as the person did.”
A Lady said, “Following your Guru’s order will help you meet God. So, follow your Guru’s order.”
A Kid said, “For me, I learned that we don’t have to go and find God; He is within all of us. Our mind is the mandir. So, whatever work we do, we need to do it with full focus, thinking God is doing it.
A Kid said, “God will come in whatever form we want Him to come and help.” Teacher added, “Definitely, when you call God with that pure mind and simplicity, God will come.”
A Lady said, “What I understood is the difference between when we do something and when God does something. When he left the things to Sita Ma, her touch ensured that the food was converted to Prashad and everyone was satiated, while if he had thought to do the task, most of them, including himself, would have been left hungry. So, we must leave it to God.”
A Lady said, “I took it that we need to have that kind of hunger (literally or metaphorically) to be one with God.” Teacher added, “It will happen; just have purity of mind and simplicity.”
An old lady said, “I understood that we should share things with others. When we do that, there is always enough left of us, and we will never have to struggle for that thing.”

यह सुनकर वह व्यक्ति भावविभोर हो उठा। वह बस यही चाहता था। एक दिन, नाश्ते के लिए कोई तैयारी नहीं चल रही थी। वह परेशान हो गया और सिर पंडित जी के पास यह पूछने गया कि नाश्ता क्यों नहीं हुआ।
हेड ने जवाब दिया, “आज उपवास का दिन है। यह एकादशी है।
वह व्यक्ति बहुत परेशान और चिंतित हो गया। अब मैं क्या करूंगा? उसने सोचा। मैं मर जाऊँगा। वह कुछ खाने के लिए सिर से भीख मांगने लगता है। उसे लगातार विनती करते देख, प्रधान पंडित जी उस पर दया करते हैं और उसे चावल और दाल जैसे कुछ कच्चे माल लेने और पास के जंगल में भोजन पकाने के लिए कहते हैं। लेकिन पहले भगवान को बुलाओ; एक बार जब वह खाता है, केवल आप खाते हैं। वह व्यक्ति खुश था।

उस व्यक्ति ने पूछा, “क्या फिर से एक और एकादशी होगी? पंडित जी ने उत्तर दिया, “हां, हर महीने 2 एकादशी होंगी। एक व्यक्ति ने कहा, “तो फिर अगली बार मुझे और कच्चा माल दे दो क्योंकि भगवान बहुत खाते हैं। पंडित जी को लगता है कि वह बहुत खा रहे होंगे, इसलिए यह सब नाटक कर रहे हैं। अगली बार, हम उसे थोड़ा और देते हैं।
अब, अगली एकादशी में, वह जानता है कि यह कब आ रहा है, और उसे अधिक कच्चा माल मिलता है। वह भगवान, सियारामजी को बुलाता है, “भोजन पकने के बाद,” वह भगवान सियारामजी को बुलाता है। इस बार भगवान राम लक्ष्मणजी को भी लेकर आते हैं। अब चार लोग हैं। वह परेशान है, लेकिन वह क्या कर सकता है? उन्हें और उनके चेहरे को देखकर, वह उनकी सेवा करता है।
वह वापस मंदिर में चला जाता है। एक बार फिर पंडित जी पूछते हैं, “ठीक है, तुम्हारे साथ?
व्यक्ति जवाब देता है, “हाँ, सब कुछ ठीक है, लेकिन अगली बार मुझे भोजन के लिए और भी कच्चा माल दें।
पंडित जी को शक हो जाता है। इसलिए, अगली बार, वह अपने कुछ लोगों को उस पर नजर रखने के लिए भेजता है। वह व्यक्ति पांच लोगों के लिए सामग्री मांगता है, यह सोचकर कि रामजी इस बार एक और व्यक्ति को ला सकते हैं। पंडित जी इसके बदले उसे 10 लोगों के लिए सामग्री देते हैं। इसे देखकर व्यक्ति को बहुत खुशी होती है। वह सोचता है कि इस बार मेरे पास पर्याप्त भोजन होगा।

जिन लोगों को जासूसी के लिए भेजा गया था, वे यह नहीं देख पा रहे हैं कि क्या हो रहा है, लेकिन वे केवल कुछ आवाजें सुन पा रहे हैं। सीताजी उस व्यक्ति के पास आती हैं और कहती हैं, “चिंता मत करो, मैं अधिक भोजन बनाऊंगी और सभी को खिलाऊंगी।
व्यक्ति कहता है, “हाँ, माँ, आप केवल यह करते हैं; मुझे नहीं पता कि हम कच्चे माल के इतने छोटे हिस्से से इतने सारे लोगों के लिए भोजन कैसे बना पाएंगे।
अब जब सीताजी ने भोजन को छुआ तो वह प्रसाद बन गया और अधिक लोग आने लगे, यहां तक कि संन्यासी भी। इस व्यक्ति को देखकर, मैं बस बैठा था और सोच रहा था कि इतने सारे लोगों को भोजन कैसे मिलेगा। वह बहुत भूखा था।

अंत में वह व्यक्ति भगवान राम से पूछता है, “जब मैं आपको ही बुलाता हूं, तो आप सभी को क्यों लाते हैं?
भगवान राम ने जवाब दिया, “आप हमें कैसे बुलाते हैं?
व्यक्ति जवाब देता है, सियारामजी, आइए।
भगवान राम मुस्कुराते हैं और जवाब देते हैं, “फिर जब आप हम दोनों को बुलाते हैं, तो इसका मतलब है कि आप हम सभी को बुलाते हैं, क्योंकि हम सभी में हैं, और हर कोई हमारे भीतर है। इसलिए, हम सभी आएंगे।
व्यक्ति कहता है, “अगली एकादशी से तुम भोजन ले आओ, ठीक वैसा ही होता है। सीता मां भोजन लाती हैं और उन्हें हर एकादशी देती हैं।

एक महिला ने कहा, “अपने गुरु के आदेश का पालन करने से आपको भगवान से मिलने में मदद मिलेगी। इसलिए अपने गुरु के आदेश का पालन करें।
एक बच्चे ने कहा, “मेरे लिए, मैंने सीखा कि हमें भगवान को खोजने के लिए नहीं जाना है; वह हम सभी के भीतर है। हमारा मन ही मंदिर है। इसलिए, हम जो भी काम करते हैं, हमें उसे पूरे ध्यान के साथ करने की आवश्यकता होती है, यह सोचकर कि भगवान इसे कर रहे हैं।
