In older times, there was a round stone structure in which wheat was ground. Seeing that, Chakki Kabir das Ji started crying and said, “Whoever comes in between will be crushed.” Once we have given birth, we have to go through all the faces. Kabir Das Ji’s son, listening to this, started laughing. Kamal said, “One or two grains get stuck where they are saved from being grounded. So I will be stuck there.” It was meant to get hold of the divine feet of God, and then you will not be stuck in this maya. Kabir Das Ji’s daughter, Kamali, was even more clever. She said, “I am grain that falls outside the Chakki and never goes through the grinding process.” Why should I get stuck to the wall when I am that soul itself? It is up to you what you want to become. Do you wish to be grounded like all normal people? Do you wish to hold the divine feet and be saved? Do you wish to become that soul? The choice is yours.
कबीर दास जी का दोहा
चलती चक्की देख कर,
दीया कबीरा रॉय
दो पाटन के बीच में,
सबीत बच्चा ना कोये
पुराने समय में, एक गोल पत्थर की संरचना थी जिसमें गेहूं जमीन था। यह देखकर चक्की कबीर दास जी रोने लगे और बोले, “जो बीच में आएगा वह कुचल जाएगा। एक बार जब हम जन्म दे देते हैं, तो हमें सभी चेहरों से गुजरना पड़ता है। कबीर दास जी का पुत्र यह सुनकर हंसने लगा। कमल ने कहा, “एक-दो दाने जहां जमने से बच जाते हैं, वहीं फंस जाते हैं। इसलिए मैं वहीं फंस जाऊंगा। यह भगवान के दिव्य चरणों को पकड़ने के लिए था, और फिर आप इस माया में नहीं फंसेंगे। कबीर दास जी की पुत्री कमली और भी अधिक चतुर थी। उसने कहा, “मैं अनाज हूं जो चक्की के बाहर गिरता है और कभी भी पीसने की प्रक्रिया से नहीं गुजरता है। जब मैं ही वह आत्मा हूं तो मैं दीवार से क्यों चिपक जाऊं? यह आप पर निर्भर है कि आप क्या बनना चाहते हैं। क्या तुम सभी सामान्य लोगों की तरह जमीन से जुड़े रहना चाहते हो? क्या आप दिव्य चरणों को पकड़ना चाहते हैं और बचाए जाना चाहते हैं? वह आत्मा बनना चाहते हो? चुनाव तुम्हारा है।
