Once a disciple goes to his Guru Ji and asks, “Where is God?” Guru Ji said, “God is everywhere and in everyone.” The disciple said, “Ok.” He went out and was wandering around. Suddenly, he saw a bull running towards him. His friend asked him to move away. He thought, “My Guru Ji has said that God is in everyone, so God is within the bull as well. Why should I move away?” The bull hit him, and he fell. His friends said, “You should have moved away.” He said, “No, my Guru Ji said there is God in everyone, even in the bull.” His friends took him to his Guru Ji. They informed Guru Ji of what happened to him. He says, “Guru Ji, you told me God is in everyone, so I didn’t move, thinking the bull would not hit me.” Guru Ji said, “If you could see God in the bull, why can’t you see God in your friends asking you to move away?”
Feedback –
The teacher said, “First, tell me who told you God doesn’t hit you. God has given birth to you; he saves you, and he kills you. Otherwise, how would we die? If you are born, you have to die. God is the only one who kills you. Brahma Ji gives life; Vishnu Ji takes care of us; and about Shiv Ji, we all know what he does. People say, how can I become ill? I do yoga. We have never lied so why are we getting punished? If someone comes into this material body, they will have to die and leave this body. No one else can kill us other than God. Erase this belief that God doesn’t kill. If we see it from another angle, God is in everyone. In the story, the idiot person saw God only in the bull and not in others. We also do the same thing. We can see God in the mandir, but not in the person next to us. You are ready to give money to the people sitting outside the mandir, but you will scold them if someone comes to your door. This is the misconception that if God is there, I will not die. Who has said that God doesn’t kill? God is not attached to your body. You are attached to your body, and that’s why you are scared of death. One day, you have to die. Live with the reality that death will come. The biggest truth is that we are moving fast towards our death.”
A person said, “In Hindi, there is a proverb, ‘Lakir Ka Fakir’. You listen to something and try to follow it without realizing it. People keep repeating Ram Naam, thinking they will be free from the cycle of life and death. But the Bhav, while repeating the name, is missing. They only repeat the name mechanically. In this era, it has become more convenient for people to play bhajan on their phones and think they are taking Ram Naam. They are lost in their thoughts while Bhajan is played in the background.” Teacher said, “The meaning is that you have to surrender to God but also use Vivek Budhi.”
A boy said, “My feedback is that we have to see God in everyone.” The teacher asked, “What would you do if you could not see God in others?” The boy said, “For sure, I will see God in everyone.” The teacher said, “Yes, this is faith.”
A girl said, “Seeing God in everyone is difficult. We should be connected to God within us to the extent that we cannot see anything other than him. In that case, whatever is inside will be outside. If the person had seen God within himself, then the bull must not have hit him. He could be free from the fear of death. Once you win the fear of death, nature also favours you.” The teacher said, “All the Bhagwan we saw in form have an Astra in their hand and are ready to kill you. Shiv Ji has Trishul in his hand, and Maa Kali is standing over death. God is ready to kill you. You tell me why that bull should not hit him.” The girl replied, “I am not saying the bull should hit or not. In that moment, if we are free from the fear of death, we become one with nature. It doesn’t make any difference then. You asked why the Bhagwan we see in form is ready to kill us. What I understood is that Bhagwan is so keen to make us one with himself that he is ready to kill our ‘I’.”
A man said, “I thought that maybe he was about to die, but he got only hit by the bull. If we follow whatever our Guru says, good things will happen to us. I believe that something good happened with him because he followed what his Guru Ji said.” Teacher said, “Yes, he didn’t die; he just got a little hurt. He didn’t listen to his friends but followed what his Guru Ji taught him. His faith also increased in his Guru Ji. This is also a different angle.”
A girl said, “I have a question. Should I ask the question or give feedback first?” Teacher said, “Ask the question first, then, with a clear mind, give feedback.” The girl asked, “Everyone is saying we should use common sense. I am not able to understand this. When we surrender and are supposed to follow whatever our Guru Ji says, what is the significance of Vivek Budhi here then?” Teacher said, “The girl before you already gave the answer to your question. If you start seeing God within you, the bull will not hit you. Here, you only applied the logic that God would not hit you. God will hit you. If you were completely surrendered and had faith, then the bull would not have beaten you.” The girl said, “Until we are completely surrendered, we have to use common sense. Thank you. Now, my feedback. It is easy to say that you see God in everyone, but doing it is difficult. We are all the products of our upbringing, and we have our own perceptions growing up. It becomes difficult to see beyond our conditioning and ideology and to believe the person next to us is Bhagwan. But when we start seeing Bhagwan in others, we start becoming compassionate. When we do any work without compassion, it will make our egos grow big.” Teacher said, “We cannot see Bhagwan God in others because of our shortcomings, but we can see Bhagwan within you. Ask for forgiveness for your shortcomings. You try to see Bhagwan within yourself. Our goal in life is to realize our true selves. It is fine that you are unable to see Bhagwan within you, but try to feel God in your heart. Try to feel God with all your senses.”
विवेक बुद्धि
एक बार एक शिष्य अपने गुरु जी के पास जाता है और पूछता है, “भगवान कहाँ है?” गुरु जी ने कहा, “ईश्वर हर जगह और हर किसी में है। शिष्य ने कहा, “ठीक है। वह बाहर गया और इधर-उधर भटक रहा था। अचानक उसने देखा कि एक बैल उसकी ओर दौड़ रहा है। उसके दोस्त ने उसे दूर जाने के लिए कहा। उसने सोचा, “मेरे गुरु जी ने कहा है कि भगवान सभी में है, इसलिए भगवान बैल के भीतर भी है। मैं क्यों हटूं?” सांड ने उसे मारा और वह गिर गया। उसके दोस्तों ने कहा, “तुम्हें दूर चले जाना चाहिए था। उन्होंने कहा, “नहीं, मेरे गुरु जी ने कहा कि हर किसी में भगवान है, यहां तक कि बैल में भी। उसके मित्र उसे उसके गुरु जी के पास ले गए। उन्होंने गुरु जी को बताया कि उनके साथ क्या हुआ था। वह कहता है, “गुरु जी, आपने मुझे बताया कि भगवान सभी में है, इसलिए मैं नहीं हिला, यह सोचकर कि बैल मुझे नहीं मारेगा। गुरु जी ने कहा, “यदि आप बैल में भगवान देख सकते हैं, तो आप अपने दोस्तों में भगवान को दूर जाने के लिए क्यों नहीं देख सकते?”
प्रतिपुष्टि–
शिक्षक ने कहा, “पहले मुझे बताओ कि तुमसे किसने कहा कि भगवान तुम्हें नहीं मारते। भगवान ने आपको जन्म दिया है; वह आपको बचाता है, और वह आपको मारता है। अन्यथा, हम कैसे मरेंगे? यदि आप पैदा हुए हैं, तो आपको मरना होगा। भगवान ही है जो आपको मारता है। ब्रह्मा जी जीवनदान देते हैं। विष्णु जी हमारी देखभाल करते हैं; और शिव जी के बारे में, हम सभी जानते हैं कि वह क्या करते हैं। लोग कहते हैं, मैं बीमार कैसे हो सकता हूं? मैं योग करता हूं। हमने कभी झूठ नहीं बोला तो हमें सजा क्यों मिल रही है? यदि कोई इस भौतिक शरीर में आता है, तो उसे मरना होगा और इस शरीर को छोड़ना होगा। ईश्वर के अतिरिक्त हमें कोई नहीं मार सकता। इस विश्वास को मिटा दो कि भगवान हत्या नहीं करता है। अगर हम इसे दूसरे कोण से देखें, तो ईश्वर सभी में है। कहानी में मूर्ख व्यक्ति को केवल बैल में ही भगवान दिखता है, दूसरों में नहीं। हम भी ऐसा ही करते हैं। हम मंदिर में भगवान को देख सकते हैं, लेकिन हमारे बगल वाले व्यक्ति में नहीं। आप मंदिर के बाहर बैठे लोगों को पैसे देने के लिए तैयार हैं, लेकिन अगर कोई आपके दरवाजे पर आता है तो आप उन्हें डांटेंगे। यह गलत धारणा है कि अगर भगवान है, तो मैं नहीं मरूंगा। किसने कहा कि भगवान नहीं मारते? परमात्मा तुम्हारे शरीर से आसक्त नहीं है। तुम अपने शरीर से आसक्त हो, और इसीलिए तुम मृत्यु से डरते हो। एक दिन मरना है। इस वास्तविकता के साथ जियो कि मृत्यु आएगी। सबसे बड़ा सच यह है कि हम अपनी मौत की ओर तेजी से बढ़ रहे हैं।
एक शख्स ने कहा, ‘हिंदी में एक कहावत है, ‘लकीर का फ़क़ीर ‘। आप कुछ सुनते हैं और इसे समझे बिना इसका पालन करने की कोशिश करते हैं। लोग यह सोचकर राम नाम दोहराते रहते हैं कि वे जीवन और मृत्यु के चक्र से मुक्त हो जाएंगे। लेकिन नाम दोहराते समय भाव गायब है। वे केवल यंत्रवत नाम दोहराते हैं। इस युग में, लोगों के लिए अपने फोन पर भजन बजाना और यह सोचना अधिक सुविधाजनक हो गया है कि वे राम नाम ले रहे हैं। वे अपने विचारों में खोए हुए हैं जबकि पृष्ठभूमि में भजन बज रहा है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “अर्थ यह है कि आप भगवान को आत्मसमर्पण करना हैं लेकिन विवेक बुद्धि का भी उपयोग करने हैं।
एक लड़के ने कहा, “मेरी प्रतिक्रिया यह है कि हमें हर किसी में भगवान को देखना है। शिक्षक ने पूछा, “यदि आप दूसरों में भगवान को नहीं देख सकते हैं तो आप क्या करेंगे? लड़के ने कहा, “निश्चित रूप से, मैं सभी में भगवान देखूंगा। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हाँ, यह विश्वास है।
एक लड़की ने कहा, “हर किसी में भगवान को देखना मुश्किल है। हमें अपने भीतर ईश्वर से इस हद तक जुड़ा होना चाहिए कि हम उसके अलावा कुछ भी न देख सकें। उस स्थिति में, जो कुछ भी अंदर होगा, वह बाहर होगा। यदि व्यक्ति ने अपने भीतर परमात्मा को देख लिया होता, तो बैल ने उसे नहीं मारा होता। वह मृत्यु के भय से मुक्त हो सकता है। एक बार जब आप मृत्यु के भय को जीत लेते हैं, तो प्रकृति भी आपका साथ देती है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हमने जितने भी भगवान रूप में देखा, उनके हाथ में अस्त्र है और वे आपको मारने के लिए तैयार हैं। शिव जी के हाथ में त्रिशूल है, और मां काली मृत्यु पर खड़ी हैं। भगवान आपको मारने के लिए तैयार है। आप मुझे बताइए कि उस बैल को उसे क्यों नहीं मारना चाहिए। लड़की ने जवाब दिया, “मैं यह नहीं कह रही हूं कि बैल को मारना चाहिए या नहीं। उस क्षण में, यदि हम मृत्यु के भय से मुक्त होते हैं, तो हम प्रकृति के साथ एक हो जाते हैं। तब कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता। आपने पूछा कि जिस भगवान को हम रूप में देखते हैं, वह हमें मारने के लिए क्यों तैयार है। मुझे जो समझ आया वह यह है कि भगवान हमें अपने साथ एक करने के लिए इतने उत्सुक हैं कि वह हमारे ‘मैं’ को मारने के लिए तैयार हैं।
एक आदमी ने कहा, ” मुझे लगा कि शायद वह मरने वाला है, लेकिन उसे केवल बैल ने मारा। अगर हम अपने गुरु की कही बातों का पालन करते हैं, तो हमारे साथ कुछ अच्छा होगा। मेरा मानना है कि उनके साथ कुछ अच्छा हुआ क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने गुरु जी की कही बातों का पालन किया। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हाँ, वह मरा नहीं; उसे बस थोड़ी चोट लगी है। उन्होंने अपने दोस्तों की बात नहीं सुनी, लेकिन उनके गुरु जी ने उन्हें जो सिखाया उसका पालन किया। उनकी आस्था भी अपने गुरु जी के प्रति बढ़ी। यह भी एक अलग कोण है।
एक लड़की ने कहा, “मेरा एक सवाल है। क्या मुझे पहले एक प्रश्न पूछना चाहिए या प्रतिक्रिया देनी चाहिए? शिक्षक ने कहा, “पहले प्रश्न पूछें, फिर, स्पष्ट दिमाग से, प्रतिक्रिया दें। लड़की ने पूछा, “हर कोई कह रहा है कि हमें कॉमन सेंस का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए। मुझे ये समझ नहीं आ रहा। जब हम समर्पण करते हैं और हमारे गुरु जी जो कुछ भी कहते हैं, उसका पालन करने की अपेक्षा की जाती है, तो यहां विवेक बुद्धि का क्या महत्व है? शिक्षक ने कहा, “आपके सामने वाली लड़की ने आपके सवाल का जवाब पहले ही दे दिया था। अगर तुम अपने भीतर परमात्मा को देखने लगोगे तो बैल तुम्हें नहीं मारेगा। यहां, आपने केवल यह तर्क लागू किया कि भगवान आपको नहीं मारेंगे। भगवान आपको मारेंगे। यदि आप पूरी तरह से आत्मसमर्पण कर देते और विश्वास रखते तो बैल आपको नहीं पीटता। लड़की ने कहा, “जब तक हम पूरी तरह से आत्मसमर्पण नहीं कर देते, हमें सामान्य ज्ञान का उपयोग करना होगा। धन्यवाद। अब, मेरी प्रतिक्रिया। यह कहना आसान है कि आप सभी में भगवान देखते हैं, लेकिन ऐसा करना बहुत मुश्किल है। हम सभी अपनी परवरिश के उत्पाद हैं, और बड़े होने पर हमारी अपनी धारणाएं हैं। हमारी कंडीशनिंग और विचारधारा से परे देखना और यह विश्वास करना मुश्किल हो जाता है कि हमारे बगल वाला व्यक्ति भगवान है। लेकिन जब हम दूसरों में भगवान को देखना शुरू करते हैं, तो हम दयालु होने लगते हैं। जब हम करुणा के बिना कोई काम करते हैं, तो यह हमारे अहंकार को बड़ा कर देगा। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हम अपनी कमियों के कारण दूसरों में भगवान को नहीं देख सकते, लेकिन हम अपने भीतर भगवान को देख सकते हैं। अपनी कमियों के लिए क्षमा मांगें। तुम अपने भीतर भगवान को देखने की कोशिश करते हो। जीवन में हमारा लक्ष्य हमारे सच्चे स्वयं का एहसास करना है। यह ठीक है कि आप अपने भीतर भगवान को देखने में असमर्थ हैं, लेकिन अपने दिल में भगवान को महसूस करने की कोशिश करें। अपनी सभी इंद्रियों के साथ भगवान को महसूस करने की कोशिश करो।
