Once upon a time, there lived a man, belonging to mediocre family. He was pure by heart. He wanted to be initiated into the path of spirituality. To quench his desire, he went to a saint. He was a real saint, unified with the ultimate Unity. When the man asked the saint for initiating him, the saint solicited a “deep’ answer. He asked the gentleman to wait for some time, as the time had not arrived yet. He asked him to enjoy the bhogas, embedded in his fortune, and when the fortune would shine again, he may be initiated. Piqued by such a reply, the man left the hermitage. He thought that this sage is a fake one, and doubted his eminence. He decided to renounce the material world, on his own, and gathered some saffron clothes, and went to a jungle, and thought of establishing his dream of being enlightened. He renounced the material world, his parents and the rest, unsupervised by a Guru. God helps us all, and loves us seventy times more than A Mother’s love. He went into a forest, and used to meditate under a tree, gather fruits and nuts for survival, and fetch water from nearby rivulet. Life went on smoothly. He used to spread his clothes over the canopies of some shrubs, but mice became a menace; clothes were found nibbled every morning. He was tensed, and pondered over for a solution. A solution of adopting a cat, came to his mind. He got a cat, as planned. But, he had to feed the cat, as well. When he used to go the village for obtaining alms, he asked for some milk. For few days, the villagers helped him, but, after that, they denied for a free supply of milk everyday. This was a second problem. He thought of bringing a cow for some milk. He fetched the third problem, on his own. The cow could not be taken care of, until taken to a pasture, everyday. His life started taking a U-turn, diverting from the Ultimate goal. He spend his time taking care of all his “friends”. Since, it was tiresome to tow the cow to the pastureland everyday, so, he decided to do some farming for obtaining few stacks of fodder for the cow. The villagers stopped giving him the alms, as he was growing in the material life. In his vocation as a farmer, he got terribly fatigued by all his farming-chores, and ‘finally’ decided to get MARRIED. Radical changes occurred, he got a full-fledged family, with a plethora of kids, wife and lived happily with his parents. Slowly, his financial status rose, and he became a successful entrepreneur, in the economically-inflated city (no longer, a village). He was enjoying in his own cob, consuming the material luxuries. To an ascetic to an entrepreneur, forest transformed into an industry for his entrepreneurship.

After a duration of about twelve to twenty years, the Saint came searching for the boy, as his destiny was lightened of his past deeds. He inquired about the young man, in the village. The villagers replied that the man, who came in the forest for meditating, was no longer a solitary being, rather was rich in the best riches of the material world, viz, the family and finance. The Sage was amazed listening such a contrary reply. The villagers pointed towards the extravagant mansion, he was surviving him. The Saint went to the mansion, and knocked at the door. A man, dressed in linen and silk, with a leather portmanteau in his hand, and the expression of arrogance embellished his face, opened the door. With a timbre of haughtiness, he gazed at the guest, as he were an intruder. Intrigued with the sense of swagger, the man asked if he could help the benign being, at his doorstep. The Saint joined His hands, and took pardon immediately, saying that He merely wished to see his physiognomy, after a light acquaintance years ago. He left the doorstep. The memories of his visit to a Saint, twenty years before, unfurled before his eyes, and was reminded that He was the same Saint. He pursued the Sage, apologized and paid his ‘superficial’ respects (couldn’t bow down and touch His feet, He was in a garb of an ordinary man, and that too, in the middle of the city) and invited Him to his home. The Sage denied, as He was rebuffed at the first glance. Guru said to the man that he could receive the blessings, if he renounces the gains of the material world and come with him. The man, staring at the Sage, asked the contemplation of such an act. He was in a dilemma, he wished to renounce it all, but, his attachments to the family and finance, blocked him. The vision of enlightenment was renewed in his heart, in the presence of the divine aura of the Sage. The Sage was aware of his mental confusion and proposed him, to consume a particular “medicated” pill, which would create an illusion amongst the family members of the man’s death, and promised him to tackle the issue. The man agreed and did the same as commanded. At home, he reclined over the bed, his pulse diminished to zero, his heart ceased its function, and his pale body gave an impression of being a corpse. But, he was aware of all the happenings in his surroundings, he could hear and feel and interpret all the stimuli from the surroundings. Then the Guru knocked at the door. Wailing in heavy tears, the wife opened the door, stared at the visitor; immersed in the pool of crocodile tears. The Sage asked for the permission for entering in the mansion. Seeing the garb of an ascetic, she nodded. The Sage enquired about the cause of the grave grief. The family was busy, flooding a million swimming pools, with their pompous tears. Old mother was sobbing, curled in the darkest corner of the house, father in the opposite one, children fluttering here and there, in confusion, with their crazy tears and runny nose, and last but not the least, the better-half, shrieking out in head-splitting resonance. Guru, also consoled in congruency, in pretence. He declared that he could be risen from the deathbed, only if one of his kins sacrificed their life for him, eating a “pill of life”. He asked the old mother, if she was ready for being ‘martyred’ for her son; she denied saying that she had numerous responsibilities left over, to be taken care by her. Father followed his wife’s footprints, and refused, for such oblation. He asked the wife, She declined the submission, as “She was supposed to care of the kids, her husband would not be able to babysit the children”. Children, howling over a demise, were proposed the same offer, if any one of them could relinquish their life for their father, as their numbers were in surplus. Every kid denied.

This became a renaissance in the life of the man. He realized that none of them loved them with heart. The Sage brushed the man’s temple, and he woke up. In an instant, glories for the Sage started flooding from the lips of his family members, merriment proliferated amongst the fake family members. The Saint asked the man, if still wished to foster in the filth of falsehood, or rather, come with Him; in the path of Truth and Faith. The man didn’t give a second thought. He recognized that the world is the maze of deceit; Lust, greed and the rest are the preliminary components of the material world. Love is fake in the gross world, only finance and reputation granted concern to the Entrepreneur. Under the guidance of the Guru, He finally united with the Ultimate unity.
MORAL: Despite being befogged by the illusions of materialism, he could realize his Self, obliging himself at the Divine feet of the Guru.
In this material world, being an entrepreneur is the best. Despite knowing the Fact of Liberation, he constructed his own web, and trapped himself in his own trap, like a spider. Becoming obedient to the words of a Guru, is the best option to attain Oneness, in fastest mode!!
