We will begin with the first word Shree, of the phrase, Shree Guru Charan Saroj Ruj… , of Hanuman Chalisa.
Shree does not mean Lakshmi, but in true sense, it is the essence which makes us spiritually strong. Shree is our soul, our Aatma, the Energy. Nothing is possible without the Shakti.
The entire Bhagwat Gita is devoid of the name of Radha Rani. But, Krishna is incomplete, until She exists. Srimad Bhagwat Gita quenches our queries. All the scriptures or mantras begin with the Shree or Om.
The Shakti is personified as a female energy. Though the soul is beyond caste and gender, but the virtue of love, sacrifice, patience and tolerance is bestowed to mother. Thus, if we see the term, aatma, it ends with the suffix -ma, pita or janak does not end it. We call our planet as Mother Earth, not Father Earth.
When the Shakti appeared in the Form, She was the One who suffered. When Lord Shiv took the form, Mother Sati suffered. Her incarnation as Mother Parvati showed us the verge of penance. When she was asked about the cause of bearing the enormous sufferings, though she was the One Herself, She said that the life of householders would learn, for they would not be moved by slightest irregularities.
Whatever we experience in our day-to-day life, it is not a suffering. Our thought make us suffer. Once the mind is fixed on the soul, pain might exist, but sufferings shall surely perish.
This is not only in Sanatan Dharma. Even Islam saw this, the women were responsible for fixing the foundation of belief.
Shiv is a Shav (corpse) without Shakti. We all are the corpses, until we realize It. She is the cause of genesis, sustenance and destruction. Rivers are called nadi, not nada.
One day, a person went to Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h.) and asked him about the person to whom he should bow down, after Allah. He replied that to his mother. The person asked about the person to whom he should bow after his mother. He replied that to his mother. The person asked about the fourth one. He replied that to his mother. For the fifth person, He replied to his father. Mother is three times more revered than Father.
This does not mean that Mother is superior. But, this is possible, once Mother realizes it.
Mother carries a foetus in her womb for nine months, serves her child by feeding her breast milk. But, men cannot carry the heavy load, tucked to their tummies. Thus, she is called dharma patni.
Once we realize it, we will become vishesh. Vishesh does not mean special. Once the vish is abolished, shesh remains, the Shesh naag, which is the dwelling site of Narayan. Shiv and Shakti are One. The form cannot sustain without the formless. Even a house cannot sustain, until a female is bestowed with true virtues.
If we make the Energy suffer, we will become a grave sufferer. Thus, mother nature needs to be preserved.
Mother always shows herself as a meagre being. In a strong storm, we often find trees uprooted, as it was sturdy on its part, but the grass flips and rolls along the drifts of the wind. Once the winds cease, grass rises up again, and furls again. But, the tree lies like a corpse, succumbed to the nature as a heap. Thus, we need to be soft and humble as the grass.
Shrimaan, a suffix is attained by a man, after he finds the Shakti. If the female drifts her thoughts, towards the Shree, she is a true Shrimati ( mati towards Shree).
