Never Infer and Interfere

(Kabir Das Ji has gained popularity after Padmanaabh lost the debate before Him. Padmanaabh became His staunch follower. He has several followers. But, simultaneously, several people are growing in the society to defame Him. They believe that His teachings are worthless and can cause apocalypse!

They have organized a committee to defame Him.

They plot a plan against Kabir Das Ji.)

Person 1: Listen, we shall send a prostitute to His place.

Person 2 (laughs)Yes, then we will see the drama.

(A prostitute to go to His house and lure Him.

She enters. The ‘committee members’ are peeping through the pane.

She finds Kabir Das Ji sitting silently. As Kabir Das Ji sees her, He slips into deep meditation. He loses awareness.

The people signal her to disturb and lure Him. But, she finds herself incapable. She begins crying heavily.

Her clothes become drenched in tears. She sits down and continues crying.

After few hours, He takes a deep breath and descends to the gross plane of consciousness.)

Kabir Das Ji: O mother! Please forgive me for the wrong done to you. How can I help you?

(He unlocks His posture and serves her with the best goodies he can.)

My wife and children are not at home. Please accept these.

(The lady prostrates before Him and feels purified from all the previous sins.)

Lady: Thou art a great seer who can redeem us from the pangs. Thou art worthy of being followed.

(She leaves. The people are left dumbfounded. They leave.

Kabir Das Ji wishes to play a drama. He rushes to the lady’s house.)

Kabir Das Ji: O Mother! Kindly occupy a seat in the horse carriage with me. I shall drop you back home within an hour.

(They get on the carriage. Kabir Das Ji takes some Ganga water and mixes few specks of saffron into it. Then, he shakes the glass bottle. The water takes a hue of the wine.

People are petrified seeing the scene. The enemies enjoy the drama and find the opportunity to defame Him.

His true devotees realize that their Guru is up to Divine mischief.

Kashi Naresh, King of Kashi, hears the news about his Guru. He is petrified as well.

In the carriage, Kabir Das Ji asks the coachman to drop the lady back home, and he leaves for the palace of Kashi Naresh on foot with the bottle of false wine.

In the court, he takes a few sips and imitates a drunkard. The king is horrified. The courtiers are trembling.

Kashi Naresh does not bow before his Guru this time. Even the courtiers keep sitting.

Then. Kabir Das Ji spills the water on the floor and splashes it. He lifts His hands and finds them blistered. After this event, He leaves the court.

The disciples of Kabir Das Ji come running to Him and ask about His well-being.)

Kabir Das Ji: O dear! Nothing special happened today. The pandit of Puri was carrying prasad to Jagannath Temple. Suddenly, a fire encircled him accidentally. As you know, the rituals of Dusshera… He could not have performed the prayers in the temple. Thus, I went to quench the fire.

(The king sends his soldiers to inquire about the accident to Puri.

The soldiers ride to Puri within two days.)

Soldier: O sir! I have come under the command of Honorable Kashi Naresh. What happened here a few days ago?

Pandit Ji: Oh! You have come from Kashi. Kindly convey our thanks to Kabir Das Ji. He came to help us that day.

Another soldier: Sir! Can you tell us about the event?

Pandit Ji: O sir! If Kabir Das Ji had not come that day, we couldn’t have completed the prayers. He spilled the water and quenched the fire with His bare hands. Hail Kabir Das Ji…

(The soldiers pay respects to Pandit Ji and return to Kashi. They convey the message to the king. The king realizes the mistake. He thinks that he has done a grave sin by doubting His Guru. All his family members, the courtiers, and other subjects run towards His house.

Kabir Das Ji smiles. The king and the others prostrate before Him.)

Kabir Das Ji: O King! Why are you guilty? You haven’t done anything wrong. It is a menace mind which plays. The king should maintain the gravity of his position. You have to guide your subjects.

(The king was in tears.)

Kabir Das Ji: Never judge others and never doubt your Guru.
