Is it possible to have ten heads?
Ravan was a Brahman, a human like us. It is a mere depiction of his knowledge. He was versed in all the texts. He used the knowledge stored in his head for flaunting over his capabilities. He never used the knowledge for his true upliftment. He never took his knowledge from his brain to his heart. He merely used his brain. Hence, he is knowledgeable, vidvaan.
Hanuman Ji is vidyavaan, the wise. Though Hanuman Ji had the knowledge, but he used it for himself and surrendered. When someone uses knowledge for the sake of oneself, it is called Sadupyoga. He used the knowledge appropriately, hence he is vidyavaan.
When someone asks us to do something, we often say, “I know. What’s new?” We never wish to listen and hence become Vidvaan. ‘My knowledge will be for others, but I won’t practice it,’ then I’m Vidvaan. But, ‘I practice the knowledge,’ then I’m Vidyavaan. Ravan is the negative form of your own energy and Hanuman Ji is the positive form of your own energy.

Fight began, when Ravan was not ready to leave Sita Maiya. Ravan sent a demon, who had a unique power of Brahma Dev. Anyone wishing to fight with the demon burnt into ashes. When Rama Ji became aware of such a demon, he said, “What to do now?” Hanuman ji said, “Don’t worry. Kindly bless me, and I will do it.” Rama Ji did the same. Hanuman Ji took a big mirror in front of the demon. As the demon saw the mirror and saw himself, finally turned into ashes. Hanuman Ji returned back.
The ego burns oneself. When someone dies, people say ‘Rama Naam Satya Hai.’ If you understand the truth in Rama’s name before your death, then the cause of birth is fulfilled. Become Vidyavaan, not Vidvaan. Try to realize yourself, without pulling the legs of others. Then, you will become Vidyavaan from Vidvaan, and Rama from Ravan.

क्या दस सिर हो सकते हैं?
रावण ब्राह्मण था, हम जैसा मनुष्य ही था। यह उनके ज्ञान का एक मात्र चित्रण है। वे समस्त ग्रन्थों के ज्ञाता थे। उसने अपने दिमाग में जमा ज्ञान का इस्तेमाल अपनी क्षमताओं का बखान करने के लिए किया। उन्होंने कभी भी अपने वास्तविक उत्थान के लिए ज्ञान का उपयोग नहीं किया। उन्होंने कभी भी अपने ज्ञान को अपने दिमाग से अपने दिल में नहीं लिया। उन्होंने सिर्फ अपने दिमाग का इस्तेमाल किया। इसलिए वह ज्ञानी है, विद्वान है।
हनुमान जी विद्यावान हैं। हालाँकि हनुमान जी को ज्ञान था, लेकिन उन्होंने इसे अपने लिए इस्तेमाल किया और आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया। जब कोई व्यक्ति अपने लिए ज्ञान का उपयोग करता है, तो उसे सदुपयोग कहा जाता है। उन्होंने सत का सदुपयोग किया, इसलिए वे विद्यावान हैं।
जब कोई हमसे कुछ करने के लिए कहता है, तो हम अक्सर कहते हैं, “मुझे पता है। नया क्या है?” हम कभी सुनना नहीं चाहते और इसलिए विद्वान हो जाते हैं। ‘मेरा ज्ञान दूसरों के लिए होगा, लेकिन मैं इसका अभ्यास नहीं करूंगा,’ तो मैं विद्वान हूं। लेकिन, ‘मैं ज्ञान का अभ्यास करता हूँ,’ तो मैं विद्यावान हूँ। रावण आपकी ही ऊर्जा का नकारात्मक रूप है और हनुमान जी आपकी ही ऊर्जा का सकारात्मक रूप हैं।
विद्यावान गुणी अतिचतुर…
लड़ाई शुरू हुई, जब रावण सीता मैया को छोड़ने के लिए तैयार नहीं हुआ। रावण ने एक राक्षस भेजा, जिसके पास ब्रह्म देव का वरदान था। दानव के सामने लड़ने की इच्छा रखने वाला कोई भी व्यक्ति जलकर राख हो गया। जब राम जी को ऐसे राक्षस की जानकारी हुई तो उन्होंने कहा, “अब क्या करें?” हनुमान जी ने कहा, “चिंता न करें। कृपया मुझे आज्ञा दें, और मैं आपकी आज्ञा का पालन करूँगा।” राम जी ने वैसा ही किया। हनुमान जी राक्षस के सामने एक बड़ा दर्पण ले गया। जैसे ही दानव ने शीशा देखा और खुद को देखा, अंत में राख में बदल गया। हनुमान जी वापस लौट आए।
अहंकार स्वयं को जलाता है। जब कोई मरता है तो लोग कहते हैं ‘राम नाम सत्य है।’ मृत्यु से पूर्व यदि राम नाम का सत्य समझ लिया जाए तो जन्म का कारण पूरा हो जाता है। विद्यावान बनो, विद्वान नहीं। दूसरों की टांग खींचे बिना खुद को महसूस करने की कोशिश करें। फिर तुम विद्वान से विद्यावान और रावण से राम बनोगे।
