There were two friends who were going for a walk in the evening. While walking, they saw a mandir. Inside the temple, one saint was giving a discourse. They thought, “Let us go inside the mandir and listen to the saint.”
They went in and sat down. The second friend said, “Let’s go out. He said, “Let’s go to the nearby pub.” The first friend said, “You go ahead; I will sit in the mandir only.”
The second friend went to the pub, and he started having a drink. As he started drinking, his mind completely became focused on God. He thought, “How idiotic I am sitting here in the pub, and how good my friend is listening to the beautiful discourse about God.”
The person who was sitting in the mandir started thinking about his friend who was in the pub. He thought, “How lucky my friend is. He is enjoying his life, and I am sitting here and listening to the rubbish.”
Both of them died at that exact moment. God wanted to show them something, so in front of both of them, Yamraj came.
Yamraj said, “The one who was sitting in the mandir will go to hell, and the one sitting in the pub will go to heaven.”
Before sending them, Yamraj said, “You have questions that you are willing to ask.” The first friend asked, “I was sitting in the mandir, then why am I getting sent to heaven and he is going to the pub?”
The first friend has heard before that whatever you think you become
Yamraj said, “That’s what happened.” The first friend said, “But I was sitting in the mandir.”
Yamrai said, “You were sitting in the mandir, but your thoughts were focused on the pub. Your friend was sitting in the pub, but his mind was focused on God.”
Whatever you do from outside doesn’t matter, but what you are thinking or whom your mind is focused on matters. Always keep God in your heart, but we do the opposite. We show off from the outside, and our mind is stuck on materialistic things.
The saints and yogis do not do anything from the outside, but their minds are always focused on God.

A lady said, “It doesn’t matter what we are doing in the outside world. What is going on inside our minds doesn’t matter. We can go to hell even while sitting inside the mandir if our thoughts are stuck on materialistic things.” Teacher said, “Why are you thinking about heaven and hell? We are beyond heaven and hell in a blissful state. Our beginning, journey, and end are all in Anand, so we are beyond heaven and hell. We are one with God because God is Anand.”
Someone said, “I have understood from today’s session that we have to live in the present and remember God. I try to remember God always, but sometimes we forget about him, and he makes me remind him again. Now it is God’s will to remind himself before my death.” Teacher said, “Have faith; he will make you remember himself before your death. Wo Isht hai anisht nahi karenge. You might forget him before your death, but he makes you remember and will make you one with himself. If you take God’s name while fighting as well, he will make you one with himself. See the example of Ravan, Kans, and Pashupal, but in the end, they become one with God. You just repeat his name, with or without faith. God will make you one with himself before your death.”
A lady said, “It doesn’t matter where you are, but your mind should be focused on God. Never judge anyone because of the choices they make. We do not know what is going on in their minds. I pray to God that my mind be always focused on him.” Teacher said, “Amen. Wherever you go, God comes with you because your mind goes with you. God lives inside our mandir; that’s why it is called a mandir. God makes you feel his presence with every heartbeat, irrespective of whether you feel him or not. You repeat his name with one mouth but hear with two ears, and if you hear his name, then your work is done.”

दूसरा दोस्त पब में गया, और उसने शराब पीना शुरू कर दिया। जैसे-जैसे उसने शराब पीना शुरू किया, उसका मन पूरी तरह से भगवान पर केंद्रित हो गया। उसने सोचा, “मैं यहां पब में कितना बेवकूफ बैठा हूं, और मेरा दोस्त भगवान के बारे में सुंदर प्रवचन सुन रहा है।
मंदिर में बैठा व्यक्ति पब में मौजूद अपने दोस्त के बारे में सोचने लगा। उसने सोचा, “मेरा दोस्त कितना भाग्यशाली है। वह अपने जीवन का आनंद ले रहे हैं, और मैं यहां बैठकर बकवास सुन रहा हूं।
उसी समय दोनों की मौत हो गई। भगवान उन्हें कुछ दिखाना चाहते थे, इसलिए दोनों के सामने यमराज आ गए।
यमराज ने कहा, “जो मंदिर में बैठा था, वह नरक में जाएगा, और पब में बैठने वाला स्वर्ग जाएगा।
उन्हें भेजने से पहले यमराज ने कहा, “आपके पास ऐसे प्रश्न हैं जो आप पूछने के लिए तैयार हैं। पहले दोस्त ने पूछा, “मैं मंदिर में बैठा था, फिर मुझे स्वर्ग क्यों भेजा जा रहा है और वह पब में जा रहा है?
पहले दोस्त ने पहले सुना है कि आप जो भी सोचते हैं कि आप बन जाते हैं
यमराज ने कहा, ऐसा ही हुआ। पहले दोस्त ने कहा, “लेकिन मैं मंदिर में बैठा था।
यमराय ने कहा, “आप मंदिर में बैठे थे, लेकिन आपके विचार पब पर केंद्रित थे। आपका दोस्त पब में बैठा था, लेकिन उसका मन भगवान पर केंद्रित था।
आप बाहर से जो भी करते हैं, इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता, लेकिन आप क्या सोच रहे हैं या आपका दिमाग किस पर केंद्रित है, यह मायने रखता है। हमेशा भगवान को अपने दिल में रखें, लेकिन हम इसके विपरीत करते हैं। हम बाहर से दिखावा करते हैं, और हमारा मन भौतिकवादी चीजों पर अटक जाता है।
संत और योगी बाहर से कुछ नहीं करते, लेकिन उनका मन हमेशा भगवान पर केंद्रित रहता है।
प्रतिक्रियाएं-
एक महिला ने कहा, “इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि हम बाहरी दुनिया में क्या कर रहे हैं। हमारे दिमाग में क्या चल रहा है, इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता। अगर हमारे विचार भौतिकवादी चीजों पर अटके हुए हैं तो हम मंदिर के अंदर बैठकर भी नरक में जा सकते हैं। शिक्षक ने कहा, “तुम स्वर्ग और नरक के बारे में क्यों सोच रहे हो? हम स्वर्ग और नरक से परे एक आनंदमय अवस्था में हैं। हमारी शुरुआत, यात्रा और अंत सब आनंद में हैं, इसलिए हम स्वर्ग और नरक से परे हैं। हम भगवान के साथ एक हैं क्योंकि भगवान आनंद हैं।
किसी ने कहा, “मैं आज के सत्र से समझ गया हूं कि हमें वर्तमान में जीना है और भगवान को याद करना है। मैं हमेशा भगवान को याद करने की कोशिश करता हूं, लेकिन कभी-कभी हम उसके बारे में भूल जाते हैं, और वह मुझे उसे फिर से याद दिलाता है। अब यह भगवान की इच्छा है कि वह मेरी मृत्यु से पहले खुद को याद दिलाए। शिक्षक ने कहा, “विश्वास रखो; वह आपको आपकी मृत्यु से पहले खुद को याद रखेगा। वो इश्त है अनिष्ट नहीं करेंगे। आप अपनी मृत्यु से पहले उसे भूल सकते हैं, लेकिन वह आपको याद दिलाता है और आपको अपने साथ एक बना देगा। यदि आप लड़ते समय भी परमेश्वर का नाम लेते हैं, तो वह आपको अपने साथ एक कर देगा। रावण, कंस और पशुपाल का उदाहरण देखिए, लेकिन अंत में वे भगवान के साथ एक हो जाते हैं। आप बस विश्वास के साथ या बिना उसके नाम को दोहराते हैं। भगवान आपको आपकी मृत्यु से पहले अपने साथ एक बना देगा।
एक महिला ने कहा, “इससे कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता कि आप कहाँ हैं, लेकिन आपका मन भगवान पर केंद्रित होना चाहिए। कभी भी किसी को उनके द्वारा चुने गए विकल्पों के कारण जज न करें। हम नहीं जानते कि उनके दिमाग में क्या चल रहा है। मैं भगवान से प्रार्थना करता हूं कि मेरा मन हमेशा उन पर केंद्रित रहे। शिक्षक ने कहा, “आमीन। तुम जहाँ भी जाते हो, भगवान तुम्हारे साथ आता है क्योंकि तुम्हारा मन तुम्हारे साथ जाता है। भगवान हमारे मंदिर के अंदर रहते हैं; इसलिए इसे मंदिर कहा जाता है। भगवान आपको हर दिल की धड़कन के साथ अपनी उपस्थिति महसूस कराता है, भले ही आप उसे महसूस करें या नहीं। आप एक मुंह से उसका नाम दोहराते हैं लेकिन दो कानों से सुनते हैं, और यदि आप उसका नाम सुनते हैं, तो आपका काम पूरा हो जाता है।
