Let’s start with some examples before the story starts. Let’s go with the month of Ramzan. Everyone keeps fasting and remembers that they cannot eat anything. If they eat, they will break the fast. They are very aware of not eating anything. If they carry on doing Roza for more than ten days, they tend to not lie or misbehave with anyone and continue practising this for the month of Ramzan. Those who know what the month is about keep their attention on Namaz. They fall in love with God so much that when the month is about to end, it makes them a little sad.
In Navratri, people wake up early and observe fasting. The mind automatically gets to focus on God in those nine days. You just remember things related to Navarati. We try to focus our minds completely on our souls.
These are small examples of our love for God. Upvaas (fasting): up means close, and vaas means rahena. A big example of this is Raas Leela.
What is Raas Leela? Shri Krishna Ji, when he was a seven-year-old boy, was loved by everyone very much and dearly. They believed he was the one, and they could not live without him. The complete Gokuldhaam was madly in love with Shri Krishna. Every single one wanted to be with Shri Krishna. He can’t live with everyone all the time. He could be with one person at a time, but everyone wants Shri Krishna to be with them. They were really early in seeking divine love. They were in love with the energy that attracts them, not the physical form of Shri Krishna. Krishna means one who attracts you, and that one who attracts you is nothing but pure unconditional love.
Shri Krishna also loved everyone equally. On one of the nights of the full moon (Sharad Purnima), Shir Krishna, with his flute, goes and stands in the middle of the ground. A beautiful environment was there, and he started playing his flute. Everyone left whatever they were doing and ran to where Shri Krishna Ji was playing his flute. When a flower blossoms, bees come; similarly, everyone came to Shri Krishna. The love was calling, so they left whatever they were doing in between and ran.
At that time, Shiv Ji, sitting in Kailash, also wanted to be with Shri Krishna. If he goes in the form of Shiv, then Shri Krishna Ji’s attention will go towards his guru, and everyone else will not get that attention. Shiv Ji changed himself into the form of a Gopi, like another Gopi in Gokul. Everyone was dancing in that ecstasy, and with everyone, Shri Krishna Ji was there. Shri means Radhe Rani, and with everyone, Radha Rani and Krishna were present.
Shiv Ji was in the form of Gopeshwar Mahadev, and Shri Krishna Ji was with Shiv Ji as well. This Leela is the best explanation in human form of how love can manifest completely through that energy. Everyone’s wish was fulfilled, and they got the complete attention of their God.

Krishna Ji is the soul himself, but whether you are able to reach him or not is important. Gopi loved him in that way, which is important. So, as Gopi, being able to love Him or not is important. Where is Shri Krishna? He is within us in the form of the soul, so our love should not be for the mind or body but for the soul. The mind controls us, and we follow it, but that should not be the case. We should be able to control our minds and ask him to love the soul.”
Someone said, “I have heard Ras Leela in childhood, but after listening to it today, the interpretation that I understood is that we can live in Ras Leela every second. It can be done by seeing Shri Krishna in everyone, and no negativity will come within us. If we feel anger against anyone and we start seeing God in them, then we will not be able to do anything wrong with them. The more we get connected to our soul, the easier it will become for us.” Teacher said, “See how the world understands Ras Leela in a limited way. They think we will go to Vrindavan to see Ras Leela, but we are not allowed to see Ras Leela, so we will hide and see. Nobody says Shri Krishna is within you and you can become one with God from within. The most manifest manifestation of God is within us.”
A lady said, “I used to know that there is a spiritual meaning to Ras Leela, but I was not aware of this in-depth meaning. The most beautiful meaning I understood is that we can also get that Anand of Ras Leela. As you said, we have to collect all the love we have for others and have that love only for God.” Teacher said, “If you cannot do it all the time, try to do it for at least a few minutes a day. The concentration you have while observing Roza or fasting in Navaratri has the same concentration daily. Your mind might distract you, but if you know how to make him obey, your mind will very easily obey you.” She asked, “It means we should not blame our minds?” Teacher said, “How could you blame your mind? It is also part of you.”
A lady said, “If we wish to feel the Anand of Ras Leela and the love, we have to separate ourselves from this outside crowd. When we can be alone while living in this crowd of family and others, then we can become one with Krishna Ji.” Teacher said, “Beautiful. People think being alone is bad. They think I don’t have any friends. Being alone is the best thing. There is a difference between loneliness and being alone.”
रास लीला

नवरात्रि में, लोग जल्दी उठते हैं और उपवास का पालन करते हैं। उन नौ दिनों में मन स्वतः ही ईश्वर पर केंद्रित हो जाता है। आपको बस नवरात्रि से जुड़ी बातें याद हैं। हम अपने दिमाग को पूरी तरह से अपनी आत्माओं पर केंद्रित करने की कोशिश करते हैं।
ये परमेश्वर के लिए हमारे प्रेम के छोटे-छोटे उदाहरण हैं। उपवास : ऊपर का अर्थ है करीब, और वास का अर्थ है राहेना। इसका बड़ा उदाहरण रास लीला है।
रास लीला क्या है? श्री कृष्ण जी जब सात वर्ष के बालक थे तो सभी उन्हें बहुत प्यार करते थे। उनका मानना था कि वह एक था, और वे उसके बिना नहीं रह सकते थे। पूरा गोकुलधाम श्रीकृष्ण के प्रेम में पागल था। हर कोई श्रीकृष्ण के साथ रहना चाहता था। वह हर समय हर किसी के साथ नहीं रह सकता। वह एक समय में एक ही व्यक्ति के साथ हो सकता है, लेकिन हर कोई चाहता है कि श्री कृष्ण उनके साथ रहें। वे वास्तव में दिव्य प्रेम की तलाश में जल्दी थे। वे उस ऊर्जा से प्रेम करते थे जो उन्हें आकर्षित करती है, न कि श्री कृष्ण के भौतिक रूप से। कृष्ण का अर्थ है वह जो आपको आकर्षित करता है, और जो आपको आकर्षित करता है वह शुद्ध बिना शर्त प्यार के अलावा कुछ भी नहीं है।
श्रीकृष्ण भी सभी से समान प्रेम करते थे। पूर्णिमा (शरद पूर्णिमा) की एक रात को, श्री कृष्ण, अपनी बांसुरी के साथ, जमीन के बीच में जाकर खड़े हो जाते हैं। एक सुंदर वातावरण था, और उन्होंने अपनी बांसुरी बजाना शुरू कर दिया। सब जो कुछ भी कर रहे थे उसे छोड़कर भाग गए जहाँ श्री कृष्ण जी अपनी बांसुरी बजा रहे थे। जब एक फूल खिलता है, तो मधुमक्खियां आती हैं; इसी प्रकार सब श्रीकृष्ण के पास आए। प्यार बुला रहा था, इसलिए वे जो कुछ भी कर रहे थे उसे बीच में छोड़कर भाग गए।
उस समय कैलाश में बैठे शिव जी भी श्रीकृष्ण के साथ रहना चाहते थे। यदि वह शिव रूप में जाएंगे तो श्रीकृष्ण जी का ध्यान अपने गुरु की ओर जाएगा, और बाकी सभी का वह ध्यान नहीं जाएगा। शिव जी ने गोकुल में एक अन्य गोपी की तरह खुद को गोपी के रूप में बदल दिया। हर कोई उस परमानंद में नाच रहा था, और सभी के साथ, श्री कृष्ण जी वहां थे। श्री का अर्थ है राधे रानी, और सभी के साथ, राधा रानी और कृष्ण उपस्थित थे।
शिव जी गोपेश्वर महादेव के रूप में थे, और श्री कृष्ण जी भी शिव जी के साथ थे। यह लीला मानव रूप में सबसे अच्छी व्याख्या है कि कैसे प्रेम उस ऊर्जा के माध्यम से पूरी तरह से प्रकट हो सकता है। सभी की मनोकामना पूरी हुई, और उन्हें अपने भगवान का पूरा ध्यान मिला।

एक बालक ने कहा, “आज की कथा से मैंने जाना है कि श्री कृष्ण जी ने वहां उपस्थित प्रत्येक गोपी के भीतर एक ही आत्मा को देखा। शिक्षक ने कहा, “उसने इसे देखा, लेकिन दूसरों ने भी वही आत्मा देखी। कृष्ण जी स्वयं आत्मा हैं, लेकिन आप उन तक पहुंच पाते हैं या नहीं, यह महत्वपूर्ण है। गोपी उसे उस तरह से प्यार करता था, जो महत्वपूर्ण है। इसलिए, गोपी के रूप में, उससे प्यार करने में सक्षम होना या न करना महत्वपूर्ण है। श्रीकृष्ण कहाँ हैं? वह आत्मा के रूप में हमारे भीतर है, इसलिए हमारा प्रेम मन या शरीर के लिए नहीं बल्कि आत्मा के लिए होना चाहिए। मन हमें नियंत्रित करता है, और हम इसका पालन करते हैं, लेकिन ऐसा नहीं होना चाहिए। हमें अपने दिमाग को नियंत्रित करने में सक्षम होना चाहिए और उसे आत्मा से प्यार करने के लिए कहना चाहिए।
किसी ने कहा, “मैंने बचपन में रास लीला सुनी है, लेकिन आज इसे सुनने के बाद जो व्याख्या समझ में आई वह यह है कि हम हर पल रास लीला में रह सकते हैं। यह सभी में श्रीकृष्ण के दर्शन करके किया जा सकता है, और हमारे भीतर कोई नकारात्मकता नहीं आएगी। अगर हमें किसी के खिलाफ गुस्सा महसूस होगा और हम उनमें भगवान को देखने लगेंगे तो हम उनके साथ कुछ भी गलत नहीं कर पाएंगे। जितना अधिक हम अपनी आत्मा से जुड़ेंगे, यह हमारे लिए उतना ही आसान हो जाएगा। शिक्षक ने कहा, “देखो कैसे दुनिया सीमित तरीके से रास लीला को समझती है। उन्हें लगता है कि हम रास लीला देखने वृंदावन जाएंगे, लेकिन हमें रास लीला देखने की अनुमति नहीं है, इसलिए हम छिपकर देखेंगे। कोई नहीं कहता कि श्रीकृष्ण तुम्हारे भीतर है और तुम भीतर से ईश्वर के साथ एक हो सकते हो। ईश्वर की सबसे प्रकट अभिव्यक्ति हमारे भीतर है।
एक महिला ने कहा, “मुझे पता था कि रास लीला का एक आध्यात्मिक अर्थ है, लेकिन मुझे इस गहन अर्थ के बारे में पता नहीं था। सबसे सुंदर अर्थ जो मुझे समझ आया वह यह है कि हम रास लीला के उस आनंद को भी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। जैसा कि आपने कहा, हमें दूसरों के लिए अपने सभी प्यार को इकट्ठा करना होगा और केवल भगवान के लिए प्यार रखना होगा। शिक्षक ने कहा, “यदि आप इसे हर समय नहीं कर सकते हैं, तो इसे दिन में कम से कम कुछ मिनट करने की कोशिश करें। नवरात्रि में रोजा रखते या रोजा रखते समय आपको जो एकाग्रता होती है, उतनी ही एकाग्रता रोजाना होती है। आपका मन आपको विचलित कर सकता है, लेकिन अगर आप जानते हैं कि उसे कैसे पालन करना है, तो आपका दिमाग बहुत आसानी से आपकी आज्ञा का पालन करेगा। उसने पूछा, “इसका मतलब है कि हमें अपने दिमाग को दोष नहीं देना चाहिए? शिक्षक ने कहा, “आप अपने मन को दोष कैसे दे सकते हैं? यह भी आपका हिस्सा है।
एक महिला ने कहा, “अगर हम रास लीला के आनंद और प्रेम को महसूस करना चाहते हैं, तो हमें खुद को इस बाहरी भीड़ से अलग करना होगा। जब हम परिवार और दूसरों की इस भीड़ में रहते हुए अकेले रह सकते हैं, तो हम कृष्ण जी के साथ एक हो सकते हैं। शिक्षक ने कहा, “सुंदर। लोगों को लगता है कि अकेले रहना बुरा है। उन्हें लगता है कि मेरा कोई दोस्त नहीं है। अकेले रहना सबसे अच्छी बात है। अकेलेपन और अकेले होने के बीच एक अंतर है।
