In these lines, Tulsidas Ji is talking about his Guru Ji (Hanuman Ji), saying that you are the guard of Ram Ji’s door (Ram Duwaare tum Rakhvare). If we see the literal meaning of this line, it means Hanuman Ji is sitting at the feet of Ram Ji, and others can only meet Ram Ji when Hanuman Ji allows them. But it is not the actual meaning of what Tulsidas Ji is trying to say. All the people who are alive have a soul within. Since our childhood, people around us, like our parents or others whom we interact with, have told us there is something because of which we are alive. Even scientists and atheists believe that there is some energy behind why we are alive. All the religious books, regardless of religion, mention how to become one with that energy, or the soul. The one who has taken the physical form and manifested the divinity within can only guide us towards that energy.

Ram duwaare tum rakhvare – None has seen God without a true Guru. You cannot become one with God without the help of a Satguru, and this proved true. We have followed so many religious practices since childhood, but we haven’t become one with God till now. Why is that? We have not met the Satguru yet.

Hot na agya binu paisare – When Satguru comes into your life, then the door towards God opens. God is present in everyone, and he is everywhere, but we fail to realise him. Wo Nahi Hain Toh Zikar Kyu, Wo Hain Toh Fikar Kyu. Many people believe and say that if you give money, then only you can move towards God, but that is not the true meaning of this line. Here the actual meaning is, “Till you totally devote yourself to the divine feet of your guru, your mind runs here and there. When you devote your mind to the feet of your Guru, then he makes you one with God. You cannot become one with God with your Guru’s wish.” What does devoting ourselves to the guru’s feet mean? It means being obedient to whatever is being said to you. Do not ask why something your Guru has asked you to do. You do not know why that energy is saying a particular thing through your Guru. If you have any doubt about your Guru’s word, you cannot reach God. If you do not have faith, love, devotion, and belief, then doubt will rise and the time to reach God will increase. The Guru wants you to become one with God, but you are stopping yourself. The solution for this is to repeat God’s name twenty-four by seven. You take God’s name, you feel his presence, and automatically your mind does not get distracted, which helps you move closer to your soul.

Sab sukh lahai tumhari sarna – Once you are at the divine feet of your Guru, you will get everything. It might happen that God gets angry with you, but your Guru can ask God to forgive. If your Guru gets angry with you, then even God cannot help you. You have to surrender yourself again and again. Obedience is the key to success. If Guru asks you to sit, you should, and if he asks you to stand, you should stand. Do not bring the reason for your Guru’s order.

Tum rakshak kahu ko darna – When Guru Ji is there, then why are you scared? He is there to protect you. Guru is responsible for your yog, shame, and everything. Krishna Ji has said this Arjun in Geeta, and here Shri Krishna is in the role of a Guru. Shri Krishna Ji is saying, “You just surrender yourself, and then all your worries are mine.” Why fear when Shri Krishna is with you? Gurur Brahma, Gurur Vishnu, Gurur Devo Maheshwaraha, Guru Saakshaat ParaBrahma, Tasmai Sri Gurave Namaha. Why are you worried? Do not be worried.

A girl said, “I might get scolded because I still have why in mind, but I will not ask.” Teacher said, “You will always be confused if you do not ask it today. So it is better to ask.” The girl asked, “From ancient times we have Guru and Sishaya traditions, and all the Upanishads are treated as the question asked by students, and the answer is given by the Guru. Is there no space to ask questions in obedience? Does obedience mean blindly following?” Teacher said, “Let’s see the latest example, which is Geeta. In Geeta, Arjun asks Shri Krishna all his doubts. Does this mean Arjun does not have faith in Shri Krishna? Asking this kind of question is important, but as Arjun gets the answers to his questions, see how surrendered he becomes. You all get answers to all your doubts, so you also surrender. Questions and doubt will come, but doubt like, Why should we wake up in Brahmamahurat?, Why should we repeat God’s name?, or Why should we follow what you are saying? Arjun didn’t have this kind of question. We had real attachments to the people standing in the fight against him, and who could he kill? Geeta itself is question and answer. With the answer, Arjun becomes more and more surrendered. Finally, when Shri Krishna Ji asked to shout the arrow, he did it without question.” The girl said, “Questions related to the spiritual journey are valid, but faith should always be there.” Teacher said, “Now give your feedback.” The girl said, “Logic and faith are inversely proportional. When logic increases, faith decreases, and when faith increases, logic decreases.” Teacher said, “In Hindi, it is said, Wo Nahi Hain Toh Zikar Kyu, Wo Hain Toh Fikar Kyu.”

Someone said, “From today’s explanation, I have understood that we have to be obedient and do whatever is being taught to us. Pray to Guru Ji to do something through you if you are not able to follow or do something. It is not possible for us to do everything by ourselves. So just pray to Guru Ji and be obedient.”

राम दुवारे तुम रखवारे – सच्चे गुरु के बिना किसी ने भगवान को नहीं देखा है। आप सतगुरु की सहायता के बिना भगवान के साथ एक नहीं हो सकते, और यह सच साबित हुआ। हमने बचपन से ही बहुत सारी धार्मिक प्रथाओं का पालन किया है, लेकिन हम अब तक भगवान के साथ एक नहीं हुए हैं। ऐसा क्यों है? हम अभी तक सतगुरु से नहीं मिले हैं।

हॉट ना आज्ञा बिनू पैसरे – जब सतगुरु आपके जीवन में आते हैं, तब भगवान की ओर द्वार खुलता है। भगवान हर किसी में मौजूद है, और वह हर जगह है, लेकिन हम उसे महसूस करने में विफल रहते हैं। वो नहीं है तो ज़िकर क्यू, वो है तो फिकर क्यू। बहुत से लोग मानते हैं और कहते हैं कि अगर आप पैसा देते हैं, तभी आप भगवान की ओर बढ़ सकते हैं, लेकिन यह इस रेखा का सही अर्थ नहीं है। यहाँ वास्तविक अर्थ है, “जब तक आप अपने गुरु के दिव्य चरणों में खुद को पूरी तरह से समर्पित नहीं करते हैं, तब तक आपका मन इधर-उधर चलता रहता है। जब आप अपने मन को अपने गुरु के चरणों में समर्पित कर देते हैं, तो वह आपको भगवान के साथ एक ाकार कर देते हैं। आप अपने गुरु की इच्छा से भगवान के साथ एक नहीं हो सकते। गुरु के चरणों में खुद को समर्पित करने का क्या मतलब है? इसका मतलब है कि जो कुछ भी आपसे कहा जा रहा है, उसके प्रति आज्ञाकारी होना। यह मत पूछो कि तुम्हारे गुरु ने तुम्हें कुछ करने के लिए क्यों कहा है। आप नहीं जानते कि वह ऊर्जा आपके गुरु के माध्यम से एक विशेष बात क्यों कह रही है। यदि आपको अपने गुरु के वचन के बारे में कोई संदेह है, तो आप भगवान तक नहीं पहुंच सकते हैं। यदि आप में विश्वास, प्रेम, भक्ति और विश्वास नहीं है, तो संदेह बढ़ेगा और भगवान तक पहुंचने का समय बढ़ेगा। गुरु चाहते हैं कि आप ईश्वर के साथ एक हो जाएं, लेकिन आप खुद को रोक रहे हैं। इसका समाधान यह है कि परमेश्वर के नाम को चौबीस से सात बार दोहराया जाए। आप भगवान का नाम लेते हैं, आप उनकी उपस्थिति महसूस करते हैं, और स्वचालित रूप से आपका मन विचलित नहीं होता है, जो आपको अपनी आत्मा के करीब जाने में मदद करता है।

सब सुख लाहै तुम्हारी सरना – एक बार जब आप अपने गुरु के दिव्य चरणों में होंगे, तो आपको सब कुछ मिल जाएगा। ऐसा हो सकता है कि भगवान आपसे नाराज हो जाएं, लेकिन आपके गुरु भगवान से क्षमा करने के लिए कह सकते हैं। यदि आपके गुरु आपसे नाराज हो जाते हैं, तो भगवान भी आपकी मदद नहीं कर सकते। आपको बार-बार खुद को समर्पित करना पड़ता है। आज्ञाकारिता सफलता की कुंजी है। यदि गुरु आपको बैठने के लिए कहते हैं, तो आपको बैठना चाहिए, और यदि वह आपको खड़े होने के लिए कहता है, तो आपको खड़ा होना चाहिए। अपने गुरु के आदेश का कारण न लाएं।

तुम रक्षक काहू को डरना – जब गुरु जी हैं तो आप क्यों डर रहे हैं? वह आपकी रक्षा करने के लिए है। गुरु आपके योग, शर्म और सब कुछ के लिए जिम्मेदार है। कृष्ण जी ने गीता में यह अर्जुन कहा है, और यहां श्रीकृष्ण गुरु की भूमिका में हैं। श्री कृष्ण जी कह रहे हैं, “तुम बस अपने आप को समर्पित कर दो, और फिर तुम्हारी सारी चिंताएं मेरी हैं। जब श्रीकृष्ण आपके साथ हैं तो क्यों डरते हैं? गुरुर ब्रह्मा, गुरुर विष्णु, गुरुर देवो महेश्वरा, गुरु साक्षात परब्रह्म, तस्माई श्री गुरवे नमः। आप चिंतित क्यों हैं? चिंता मत करो।

प्रतिपुष्टि-

एक लड़के ने कहा, “आज की लाइन का जोर इस बात पर था कि हमें अपने गुरु के बारे में जितना कम संदेह होगा, हमारा जीवन उतना ही आसान हो जाएगा। जितना अधिक हम विश्वास के साथ वही करेंगे जो हमें कहा गया है, उतना ही हमारा जीवन आसान हो जाएगा। शिक्षक ने कहा, “जब हम बच्चे होते हैं और हमारे माता-पिता हमें कुछ करने के लिए कहते हैं, तो हम उनसे सवाल किए बिना ऐसा करते हैं। जैसे-जैसे हम बड़े होते हैं, हम संदेह करते हैं और वही करते हैं जो वे नहीं करने के लिए कह रहे हैं। हम अपने अनुभवों से सीखते हैं और सीखते हैं कि हमारे माता-पिता जो कह रहे थे वह सही था। अब जब आप समझ गए हैं कि मैं क्या कह रहा हूं, तो यह सही है, इसलिए कृपया वही करें जो सिखाया जा रहा है। यदि तुम अभी भी प्रश्न करते हो, तो तुम्हें परमेश्वर तक पहुँचने में और अधिक समय लगेगा। मैं सभी से कह रहा हूं कि अपना काम पूरे ध्यान से करें और याद रखें कि आप शरीर या मन नहीं हैं; तुम आत्मा हो”

एक लड़की ने कहा, “मुझे डांट लग सकती है क्योंकि मेरे मन में अभी भी क्यों है, लेकिन मैं नहीं पूछूंगी। शिक्षक ने कहा, “यदि आप इसे आज नहीं पूछेंगे तो आप हमेशा भ्रमित रहेंगे। इसलिए पूछना बेहतर है। लड़की ने पूछा, “प्राचीन काल से हमारे पास गुरु और शिशय परंपराएं हैं, और सभी उपनिषदों को छात्रों द्वारा पूछे गए प्रश्न के रूप में माना जाता है, और उत्तर गुरु द्वारा दिया जाता है। क्या आज्ञाकारिता में प्रश्न पूछने के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है? क्या आज्ञाकारिता का मतलब आँख बंद करके अनुसरण करना है? शिक्षक ने कहा, उन्होंने कहा, ‘ताजा उदाहरण देखते हैं, जो गीता है। गीता में अर्जुन श्रीकृष्ण से उनकी सारी शंकाएं पूछता है। क्या इसका मतलब यह है कि अर्जुन को श्रीकृष्ण में विश्वास नहीं है? इस तरह का सवाल पूछना जरूरी है, लेकिन जैसे-जैसे अर्जुन को अपने सवालों के जवाब मिलते हैं, देखिए वह कितना सरेंडर हो जाता है। आप सभी को अपनी सभी शंकाओं का जवाब मिल जाता है, इसलिए आप भी आत्मसमर्पण कर देते हैं। प्रश्न और संदेह तो आएंगे, लेकिन संदेह इस प्रकार होगा, कि हमें ब्रह्ममुहूर्त में क्यों जागना चाहिए?, हमें ईश्वर का नाम क्यों दोहराना चाहिए?, या आप जो कह रहे हैं उसका हमें पालन क्यों करना चाहिए? अर्जुन के पास इस तरह का सवाल नहीं था। उसके खिलाफ लड़ाई में खड़े लोगों से हमारा वास्तविक लगाव था, और वह किसे मार सकता था? गीता अपने आप में सवाल-जवाब है। जवाब के साथ, अर्जुन अधिक से अधिक आत्मसमर्पण हो जाता है। अंत में जब श्री कृष्ण जी ने बाण लगाने को कहा तो उन्होंने बिना किसी प्रश्न के ऐसा कर दिया। लड़की ने कहा, “आध्यात्मिक यात्रा से संबंधित प्रश्न मान्य हैं, लेकिन विश्वास हमेशा होना चाहिए। शिक्षक ने कहा, “अब अपनी प्रतिक्रिया दें। लड़की ने कहा, “तर्क और विश्वास व्युत्क्रमानुपाती हैं। जब तर्क बढ़ता है, विश्वास कम हो जाता है, और जब विश्वास बढ़ता है, तो तर्क कम हो जाता है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हिंदी में, यह कहा जाता है, वो नहीं है तो ज़िकर क्यू, वो है तो फिकर क्यू।

किसी ने कहा, “आज के स्पष्टीकरण से मैं समझ गया हूँ कि हमें आज्ञाकारी होना होगा और जो कुछ भी हमें सिखाया जा रहा है उसे करना होगा। गुरु जी से प्रार्थना करें कि यदि आप कुछ अनुसरण करने या करने में सक्षम नहीं हैं तो अपने माध्यम से कुछ करें। हमारे लिए यह संभव नहीं है कि हम सब कुछ स्वयं करें। इसलिए बस गुरु जी से प्रार्थना करें और आज्ञाकारी बनें।
