There was a very rich man who had two flowers that looked the same. Their smell, feel, colour—everything was the same, and it was nearly impossible to differentiate between them, but one was real and the other was artificial.
He went to the king and said, “If you could identify the real flower, I would donate half of the property to the kingdom. If you fail to identify the real flower, then you give me half of your kingdom. You are free to reject the challenge. I will go to some other king.” The king accepted the challenge. The king finds out the real one, but he fails to identify it. The king asked the man, “Can I have a day?” The man said, “Take your time.”
The king, fortunately, had a guru. He went to his guru and explained his problem. Guru Ji said something in his ears. Then Guru Ji said, “Tomorrow morning, ask that man to come and tell him which is the real one.” The king became very happy, and he went back. The next day, the man came and asked the king, “Which is the real flower?” The king asked the merchant to observe, and he opened a window. After that, he took the flowers and kept both of them outside the widow. The bees came and sat on the real one. So the king identifies the real flower as a bee that will never sit on artificial flowers.
Now you will tell me the moral of this story. The moral is not about what Guru said.

A girl said, “The bee is the metaphor for divine light, which is only attracted to authentic things. We could try to become beautiful from the outside by doing different things, but it will never be as beautiful as it naturally is. The divine light is only attracted to natural things. What makes us good human beings is how real and authentic we are.” Teacher said, “There is one more similar thing in these lines. You use your mind to reach whatever height you want to achieve in your life, and you will reach there. You will do every possible thing in life, but not in peace of mind. Outside, you will never find Atmaanad. Something will always be missing, irrespective of whatever you achieve. If you start to go inside the depths the same way you go outside to achieve something, you will always be peaceful. The divinity is within.”
A boy said, “My father gave me a few books to read, and one of them was Karam Yog by Swami Vivekananda. In that book, there was a line, “There is no knowledge on the outside. All the knowledge is on the inside.” So I related that every problem has a solution within us. The king, despite taking on his ego, surrendered himself and thought about how this problem could be solved. He first went to this guru and then took the help of nature. He knew the answer within him but didn’t let his ego govern this situation. He kept his ego on the back foot and surrendered himself to Guru, the solution. So as per my understanding, this was the moral.” Teacher said, “Good, you explained the complete moral of Karam Yog in a few sentences. This is what Karam Yog is. Karma is bhakti, and bhakti is knowledge. You are taking actions that are Karam. Bhakti comes when you surrender, and knowledge is that God is real and everything else is unreal. If you learn to live with all these three together, you will become Yogi. Theoretically, you have understood it; now apply it in your daily life.”
Teacher said, “God has made bees so intelligent that when the flower was kept outside, it came on its own to sit on the real flower. In the Quran, it is said that humans are the jewel of creation. Human senses were not able to differentiate those flowers, but the bee was able to see the difference. We are better than bees. We are capable of killing the bee, but if we learn from the bee, we can reach divine oneness. Bees cannot become one with God, but human beings can become one with God. Go into nature, and you will find everything is more intelligent than us, but still, God said we are the jewel of the creation. Why are we the jewel of creation? Because we are the only ones who can become one with God. We don’t have to tell a donkey to behave like a donkey, but we have to tell a human to behave like a human.”
A boy said, “You could be in any situation; only ask for help from your guru. If you try to find help outside, they can only provide physical help, but it will not help you mentally or spiritually. So I understand that whatever help you need, only ask for help from your Guru. The Guru will help you out of your situation and simultaneously help you grow spiritually. Guru will help you reach that level where you will not need to ask for help from anyone.” Teacher said, “Some people might not have a guru or the physical presence of their guru, so what will they do?” The boy answered, “It is not possible that anyone cannot have a Guru. You always say that a guru is an energy that is within everyone. If you ask for help from anyone thinking of them as Maa, Shiv, or Ram, then that energy will help. Guru is not a person.” Teacher said, “Guru is not a person; it is an energy that is always with you. Very good son.”
प्रकृति की बुद्धिमत्ता

सौभाग्य से राजा के एक गुरु थे। वह अपने गुरु के पास गया और अपनी समस्या बताई। गुरु जी ने उसके कानों में कुछ कहा। तब गुरु जी ने कहा, “कल सुबह, उस आदमी से कहो कि वह आए और उसे बताए कि असली कौन है। राजा बहुत खुश हुआ और वह वापस चला गया। अगले दिन वह आदमी आया और उसने राजा से पूछा, “असली फूल कौन सा है? राजा ने व्यापारी को निरीक्षण करने के लिए कहा, और उसने एक खिड़की खोली। उसके बाद उसने फूल ले लिए और दोनों को विधवा के बाहर रख दिया। मधुमक्खियां आकर असली पर बैठ गईं। तो राजा असली फूल को एक मधुमक्खी के रूप में पहचानता है जो कृत्रिम फूलों पर कभी नहीं बैठेगा।

एक आदमी ने कहा, “मेरी समझ के अनुसार, नैतिक यह है कि प्रकृति बहुत बुद्धिमान है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हाँ। आदमी ने कहा, “यदि आप निरीक्षण करते हैं, तो प्रकृति आपको उत्तर देती है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “आपको जो भी समस्या है, खिड़की खोलें और प्रकृति का आनंद लें, और आपकी समस्या हल हो जाएगी। बहुत अच्छा। भगवान हर जगह है, इसलिए अगर मुझे जवाब नहीं मिल रहा है, तो भगवान को खुद जवाब खोजने में आपकी मदद करने दें। गुरु ने बस उसे खिड़की खोलने के लिए कहा, और उसे विश्वास था कि अगर गुरु जी ने कुछ कहा है, तो उसे ऐसा करके उसका जवाब मिल जाएगा। गुरु जी ने उसे सब कुछ नहीं समझाया। उसने सिर्फ खिड़की खोलने के लिए कहा। जब आप मुसीबत में हों तो अपने बबल से बाहर निकलें और दूसरों की मदद लेने में हमेशा खुश रहें। इसे ध्यान से समझने की कोशिश करना बहुत जरूरी है। अगर किसी को कोई समस्या हो रही है और मैं मदद करता हूं, तो मुझे वास्तव में अच्छा लगेगा। इसी तरह, अगर मुझे जरूरत है और दूसरा व्यक्ति मेरी मदद करता है, तो वह अच्छा महसूस करेगी। यह जीवन का एक तथ्य है। इसलिए दूसरों को अच्छा महसूस कराना भी अच्छी बात है। हमेशा मदद लेने और देने के लिए तैयार रहें। जब तक आप दूसरों की मदद कर रहे हैं, तब तक ठीक है, लेकिन जब दूसरों से मदद लेने का समय आता है, तो आपका अहंकार आ जाता है, जो गलत है। व्यक्ति को अच्छा महसूस करने का भी अधिकार है। सबकी आत्मा एक जैसी है। प्रकृति की मदद लें और प्रकृति की मदद करें।
एक लड़की ने कहा, “मधुमक्खी दिव्य प्रकाश का रूपक है, जो केवल प्रामाणिक चीजों की ओर आकर्षित होती है। हम अलग-अलग चीजें करके बाहर से सुंदर बनने की कोशिश कर सकते हैं, लेकिन यह कभी भी उतना सुंदर नहीं होगा जितना कि यह स्वाभाविक रूप से है। दिव्य प्रकाश केवल प्राकृतिक चीजों की ओर आकर्षित होता है। जो चीज हमें अच्छा इंसान बनाती है, वह यह है कि हम कितने वास्तविक और प्रामाणिक हैं। शिक्षक ने कहा, “इन पंक्तियों में एक और बात है। आप अपने जीवन में जो भी ऊंचाई हासिल करना चाहते हैं, उस तक पहुंचने के लिए आप अपने दिमाग का उपयोग करते हैं, और आप वहां पहुंच जाएंगे। आप जीवन में हर संभव काम करेंगे, लेकिन मन की शांति में नहीं। बाहर आत्माद कभी नहीं मिलेगा। कुछ हमेशा याद आ रही होगी, चाहे आप कुछ भी हासिल करें। यदि आप गहराई के अंदर जाना शुरू करते हैं उसी तरह आप कुछ हासिल करने के लिए बाहर जाते हैं, तो आप हमेशा शांतिपूर्ण रहेंगे। दिव्यता भीतर है।
एक लड़के ने कहा, “मेरे पिता ने मुझे पढ़ने के लिए कुछ किताबें दीं, और उनमें से एक स्वामी विवेकानंद द्वारा किया गया कर्म योग था। उस किताब में एक लाइन थी, “बाहर का कोई ज्ञान नहीं है। सारा ज्ञान अंदर है। इसलिए मैंने कहा कि हर समस्या का समाधान हमारे भीतर होता है। राजा ने अपने अहंकार को धारण करने के बावजूद खुद को आत्मसमर्पण कर दिया और सोचा कि इस समस्या को कैसे हल किया जा सकता है। वह पहले इस गुरु के पास गए और फिर प्रकृति की मदद ली। वह अपने भीतर का जवाब जानता था लेकिन उसने अपने अहंकार को इस स्थिति पर हावी नहीं होने दिया। उन्होंने अपने अहंकार को बैकफुट पर रखा और खुद को गुरु के सामने समर्पित कर दिया, समाधान। इसलिए मेरी समझ के अनुसार, यह नैतिकता थी। शिक्षक ने कहा, “अच्छा, आपने कुछ वाक्यों में कर्म योग की पूरी नैतिकता को समझाया। यही कर्म योग है। कर्म भक्ति है, और भक्ति ज्ञान है। आप कर्म कर रहे हैं। भक्ति तब आती है जब तुम समर्पण करते हो, और ज्ञान यह है कि परमात्मा वास्तविक है और बाकी सब असत्य है। अगर आप इन तीनों के साथ मिलकर रहना सीख गए तो योगी बन जाएंगे। सैद्धांतिक रूप से, आप इसे समझ गए हैं; अब इसे अपने दैनिक जीवन में लागू करें।
शिक्षक ने कहा, भगवान ने मधुमक्खियों को इतना बुद्धिमान बनाया है कि जब फूल को बाहर रखा जाता था तो वह असली फूल पर बैठने के लिए खुद ही आ जाती थी। कुरान में कहा गया है कि इंसान ही सृष्टि का गहना है। मानव इंद्रियां उन फूलों को अलग करने में सक्षम नहीं थीं, लेकिन मधुमक्खी अंतर देखने में सक्षम थी। हम मधुमक्खियों से बेहतर हैं। हम मधुमक्खी को मारने में सक्षम हैं, लेकिन अगर हम मधुमक्खी से सीखते हैं, तो हम दिव्य एकता तक पहुंच सकते हैं। मधुमक्खियां ईश्वर के साथ एक नहीं हो सकतीं, लेकिन मनुष्य ईश्वर के साथ एक हो सकता है। प्रकृति में जाओ, और तुम पाओगे कि सब कुछ हमसे अधिक बुद्धिमान है, लेकिन फिर भी, भगवान ने कहा कि हम सृष्टि के रत्न हैं। हम सृष्टि के रत्न क्यों हैं? क्योंकि केवल हम ही हैं जो परमेश्वर के साथ एक हो सकते हैं। हमें गधे को गधे की तरह व्यवहार करने के लिए कहने की ज़रूरत नहीं है, लेकिन हमें एक इंसान को इंसान की तरह व्यवहार करने के लिए कहना होगा।
एक लड़के ने कहा, “आप किसी भी स्थिति में हो सकते हैं; केवल अपने गुरु से मदद मांगें। यदि आप बाहर मदद खोजने की कोशिश करते हैं, तो वे केवल शारीरिक सहायता प्रदान कर सकते हैं, लेकिन यह मानसिक या आध्यात्मिक रूप से आपकी मदद नहीं करेगा। इसलिए मैं समझता हूं कि आपको जो भी मदद चाहिए, केवल अपने गुरु से मदद मांगें। गुरु आपकी स्थिति से बाहर निकलने में आपकी मदद करेंगे और साथ ही साथ आपको आध्यात्मिक रूप से बढ़ने में मदद करेंगे। गुरु आपको उस स्तर तक पहुंचने में मदद करेंगे जहां आपको किसी से मदद मांगने की जरूरत नहीं होगी। शिक्षक ने कहा, “कुछ लोगों के पास गुरु या उनके गुरु की भौतिक उपस्थिति नहीं हो सकती है, इसलिए वे क्या करेंगे?” बालक ने उत्तर दिया, “यह संभव नहीं है कि कोई गुरु न बना सके। आप हमेशा कहते हैं कि गुरु एक ऊर्जा है जो हर किसी के भीतर है। यदि आप किसी से भी मदद मांगते हैं जो उन्हें मां, शिव या राम के रूप में सोचता है, तो वह ऊर्जा मदद करेगी। गुरु कोई व्यक्ति नहीं है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “गुरु एक व्यक्ति नहीं है; यह एक ऊर्जा है जो हमेशा आपके साथ है। बहुत अच्छा बेटा।
