We shall see few tiny fables, whose tiny morals will make us free from grudges and patience and tolerance will descend.
Prophet Mohammed-peace-be-upon-him used to go to the masjid every morning, for fajr prayers. Dawn often, adorned the sky, while he returned back home. There lived an old lady, in a building, which outlined the lane, which Prophet passed through everyday. She used to keep a lots of rubbish ready, and threw it on Him, as he used to pass by. This went on for years, incessantly. Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h.) never reacted. One day, she didn’t throw the garbage at him. He inquired about her in the nearby shop. They told Him that she was ill. He climbed upstairs and knocked at her door step. She hailed that the door was open. He went inside, and found her lying fatigued on her bed. He observed her pulse, gave her medication. He brought food for her, and served her for three four days. When she was well, He asked her to throw the garbage again, from next day onwards, with a smile. The lady prostrated before Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h) and asked for the Divine forgiveness, for she was jealous of the virtues He had. He consoled her and said that that was her job, which she did, and he did his job. From that, she became a staunch follower of Islam
patience to this verge is expected from all of us….
There lived a nuclear family, in which the son used to eat lots of sweets. His entrails were infested, dental caries rotted his mouth, still the efforts did stop, to fill the stomach with goodies. Her mother was tired of preaching. She took him to Prophet Mohammed (p.b.u.h.).She went with her son. She told Him the cause of the visit. Prophet asked her to bring her son, after a month.
until we practice it, we have no rights to preach…
After a month, she came with the boy. Prophet asked him politely to stop eating sweets. The boy stopped eating sweets after that. The lady asked Him that that sentence could have been said a month ago, for her son would have stopped eating the goodies, a month ago. Prophet said that he could not ask some one to stop doing some thing, until and unless, he stops the pranks himself. He continued that he too used to eat a lots of sweets, a month ago.
One day, Lord Buddha was giving sermon, in a village. There was a man, who became irritated listening the preaching, as He was asking them to introspect themselves, at every breath. He thought that Lord was asking them to see everything in themselves, as if He Himself, were as pure as light. He began abusing him, in the middle of the sermon. He began doing it everyday, but Lord never reacted. He retaliated further, for wanted Him to be retaliated as well. One day, he gathered a lot of sputum in his mouth, and spat on His face. Lord was unstirred. He smiled incessantly, and continued his sermon. He was irritated to a greater extent. He went back home, and was unable to decipher the ways to stir Him. He felt guilty for his sins, and the next day, he went to him, and cried heavily, and washed his feet, with his own tears. Lord didn’t react. Then, he couldn’t control himself. He shook Lord and asked him the reason for remaining unstirred in all realms. Lord gave an example and said that if he gave a penny to someone, and the person didn’t receive it, then the penny would remain with him.
we should keep our keys of access with ourselves, and should not loot the keys of others…
