Cracked Cravings

Was He a Christian?

He was crucified on a cross, and thus called Christ. His followers came to be known as Christians. But, did He ever asked ask His people to worship Him? Let us introspect.

Is there any reason behind His locked feet on the cross? As we saw Sri Krishna in the posture for Leela, viz, to reform us, same reason fits here. He descended on the planet to redeem us from sufferings, and take us on the path to Freedom. He didn’t complaint, when He was being nailed and lashed with whips. He thanked and asked Allah to forgive the deeds of the people, as they were gullible.

Now, let see a story, which will make us realize that our prayers at the altar are as filthy as garbage, or even worse. Our cravings are cracked and brings curse to our lives.

Once, there lived two sisters, who were the staunch followers of Jesus. They were Martha and Mary. Their devotion was unquestionable. One day, their brother, Lazarus, passed away. The elder Martha was comfortable and thanked Allah. But, the young Mary whined heavily. She pursued her sister, for they could plead to Jesus, who had the capabilities to raise the departed one from the grave. Martha denied it, but the stubborn notions of Mary forced her to go to Jesus. The cries made Jesus ask them the reason for the pain. Martha smiled, and Mary conveyed the event in a dull voice. She pleaded to Him to raise him from the grave. Jesus suggested the restrictions of such acts. But, the wilful words of Mary made Him ask her to take Him to the grave. They went to the site. Jesus enunciated the name of Lazarus thrice, a form emerged from the tomb. All people were horrified. Jesus asked Lazarus about the experiences he felt. Lazarus replied that his statements would be considered insane, thus was not ready to express himself. Jesus persuaded him. He said that he merged with the infinity; the words of Jesus made Allah take a form and appear before the congregation. No one believed in him except Jesus and Martha. Mary began stammering and pleaded to Jesus to send her brother back, as she feared that the form was that of a ghost. The embodied form changed into light and merged with the infinity.

This story indicates that we should ask for the Thing we deserve. Once a lady went with a similar question to Jesus. Jesus replied that a mother could not give everything to her child because of the physical bondage. Allah could render everything, but His love for His children is vast.

One mother cannot give ice candy to her child if he suffers from cough and cold. Allah’s love is of a similar kind but magnified seventy times.
