There lived a king. He observed something, but couldn’t drop to solid conclusions. He asked his ministers. One of the ministers was very wise. He asked that dogs give birth to several puppies. But, the sheep give birth to a single lamb. Also, humans didn’t consume dogs. Sheep move in a flock, but dogs move in a solitary way. The wise minister decided to perform an experiment. He placed a basket full of goodies, and ten dogs were placed in the room, whose door was locked. In another room, a basket full of goodies and ten sheep was left in another closed room. They could not see inside the room. They opened the door, next morning.

They saw that all the dogs were found dead. The basket was intact, full of edibles. When they opened another room, they saw all the sheep were in deep slumber, and the basket was empty. The king was not convinced with the results. He said that dogs cannot live peacefully, they slaughter each before they can be slaughtered. But, the sheep live together, despite they are slaughtered by the humans. The minister tried to prove the notion, in a better way.

He narrated a story. Once, Brahma Ji invited angels and devils for dinner. Brahma Ji wished to serve them equally. But, the service didn’t convince the devils. They thought that Brahma Ji was partial. Conflicts grew further. Brahma Ji asked all His guest to straighten their hands and consume the food, without bending the arms. Devils couldn’t eat the food. But, the angels picked up the morsel from the platter and fed their ‘colleagues’. Thus, it was proved that the love or rather affinity is felt by the ones, who have affinity towards everyone. We need to assess ourselves and work harder to become the true jewel of the creations.
