We have heard a common saying, “Whatever happens happens for the best.” But, it is quite a boring quote. We need to understand it with an example, for we can start thanking Lord for every speck of life.
Once there lived two men who were atheists. They were highly qualified personals and wished to find faults in God’s creations. They left with a pen and paper on foot to search for some mistakes. On their way, they saw a large pumpkin growing on a frail creeper. One of them asked his colleague to note the mistake of God for making a large fruit grow on a frail thread-like stalk. They rejoiced over their achievement and continued their journey.
After several hours of walking, one of them lied down under a mango tree in its shade. Suddenly, strong winds blew, and a little mango fell from the tree on the man’s nose. The man rose abruptly with a cry. His friend asked him if he could help him. The man denied it and asked him to erase the noted mistake from the diary. He explained that if a large pumpkin had fallen from the height, he would have died.
They resumed their journey and found a man sitting under a tree idly. They enquired him and the man answered that he was doing a very important job. The man asked the two men to sit with him, and they could share their thoughts. He said that God didn’t exist. The other qualified personals rejoiced meeting a man with similar interests. Then, the man asked one of them to see his hands. He said that Lord should have placed the thumb in the middle of the four fingers. The other persons said that the man was also finding the faults in God as were they.
The conversation went on and, they began discussing Bali’s death in Ramayana. The man said he had heard a pandit reciting Ramayana and narrating that episode. They began discussing the goodness hidden in the act of Rama killing Bali through cheating. Soon, the same pandit passed by the place and, he enquired to the three men sitting under the tree. They asked their query. Pandit Ji replied that if they wished to go to a place they had to make arrangements for the journey, but if another person called them, the caller made arrangements for them. Similarly, Bali would have lost the way, but Rama sent him in the exact direction where he united with the unity.
Thus, it is proven, “Whatever happens happens for the best.”
