We have seen Mother Sharda’s birth and her marriage with Ramakrishna Paramhamsa. She lived in Jairam Bati, served her husband and her mother-in-law, and served Ramakrishna Ji’s disciples.
She is the first to wake up and the last to go to bed. Even Thakur Ji gives rest to his body. A Yogi never sleeps. Before anyone wakes up, she takes a bath in the River Ganga, irrespective of the season. After all people wake up, she hides herself. She is very humble, unaware of her existence. Mother Kali wants Thakur Ji to have a gross existence, and he goes into samadhi, listening to God’s name.
Mother never goes into samadhi, despite being at a higher state. She does all the chores without complaining. During the Shodashi Pooja, she becomes stiff as a ramrod and receives the pooja. After the pooja, she works as an ordinary housewife. She serves every disciple of Thakur Ji as her child and prepares food for everyone. There are no servants to help. She serves the prasad to everyone, with her own hands. Often, Thakur Ji scolds his disciples. Mother calls the children and says, “He is Thakur Ji, maybe a bit strict. You may have cheated or looted, but don’t worry. I’m with you. Remember your mother is with you so no one can harm you.” These words change the lives of many.
The female disciples come to Mother in Naubat Khana, and the males go to Ramakrishna. The female disciples become happy in Ramakrishna’s divine presence. They go to him and Ramakrishna blesses them. Mother continues serving, without bothering about the ecstasy of the divine discussions.
There are two to three disciples, whose mothers, sisters, and wives are closer to Mother. Mother calls them by the name disciple, suffixing ‘Maa’ after the name, as Yogin Maa, the mother of a disciple, Yogin, Ganga Maa, the mother of a girl, Ganga. One day, Mother says to Yogin Maa, “When you go to Thakur Ji, ask for me. Don’t ask about your worldly desires. Ask him to bless me that I have love and devotion at his divine feet.” Yogin Maa goes to Thakur Ji, and when all leave the room, she asks silently, “Thakur Ji! Can you bless the one sitting in the Naubat? She asked me to ask you to bless her so that she enjoys the tiniest bit of ecstasy of samadhi.” Ramakrishna becomes quiet and then says, “Whatever you are seeing in this form of bones and flesh, the one whom you call the tatva, the Paramhamsa is because of her. Do you know who she is? She is Maa Kali, Maa Jagadamba. She blesses me and works here through this form. Who am I to bless her?”
Moral: This is the complete Mother, who makes her husband and son one with God. Remember that you are only the puppet in his hands. Let him do everything. Ramakrishna and Vivekananda emerged at giant spiritual bombs, but couldn’t hide the energy. Shakti, Matr Shakti,… born as female on the planet, are Radha, Maa Kali. Never underestimate yourself.
- Sati sacrificed, and Shiva gained the amaratva. It is impossible to realize the formless Shiva, but the Shakti makes it possible. Similarly, Maa Sita (Rama gained amaratva), Sharda Maa (Ramakrishna gained amaratva), Kaikeyi Maa (Rama Van Gye Toh Rama Ban Gaye), and Radha (Radha ke bina Krishna bhi aadhe hain) sacrificed.
- Mother hid her energy, but Ramakrishna and Vivekananda manifested it.
- “Mother never expected any help from anyone. She served every disciple as her own, bought stuff, prepared food, washed, and cleaned without complaining. She didn’t let any male see her face, but at Ramakrishna’s request, she agreed later. She did all chores without a speck of pain. She never went into samadhi. In the Shodashi pooja, she received the pooja and became still like a ramrod, but after that, no one saw her going into samadhi. She was never overwhelmed by listening to God’s name. Even Mother served Ramakrishna as her son, as she is the Mother.”
- Someone said, “We should not waste the energy in the wrong ways.” The teacher explained, “We waste our energy by becoming angry, or becoming lustful or crying. We should conserve it.”
- Someone said, “We should remain productive by conserving the excessive energy we waste in the material world.” The teacher explained, “Getting more and more children in the family is the productivity in today’s era. What kind of productivity are you talking about?” The teacher answered as well, “We cannot be productive. Being productive for the material world is worthless. We need to surrender.”
- Someone asked, “Why do only mothers have the patience, not the fathers?” The teacher answered, “A mother nurtures the child in her womb for nine months and then prepares milk from her blood to feed the child. There is no difference between males and females. The soul is one. But, the Shakti is the female form. This is the reason why Atma is called Atma (Ma- mother), not Atbaap (baap- father). A mother bears everything, and never grieves in pain. She continues working. Fathers can get time to meditate or perform charity. But, a mother never gets time to sit for meditation in silence. She works continuously. But, if the mother fixes her mind on the soul, she can realize God in a lesser time. She being a dharmapatni, can liberate her entire family.”
- When we serve any creature selflessly, from an ant to an elephant, who cannot give anything in return, we receive plenty, though we don’t expect anything.
- “Anger invites Danger. You become dangerous for yourself and others.”
हमने माँ शारदा का जन्म और रामकृष्ण परमहंस के साथ उनका विवाह देखा है। वह जयराम बाटी में रहती थीं, अपने पति और अपनी सास की सेवा करती थीं और रामकृष्ण जी के शिष्यों की सेवा करती थीं।
वह सबसे पहले जागती हैं और सबसे आखिरी में सोती हैं। ठाकुर जी भी अपने शरीर को आराम देते हैं। योगी कभी सोता नहीं। किसी के जागने से पहले, वह गंगा नदी में स्नान करती हैं, चाहे कोई भी मौसम हो। लोगों के जागने के बाद वह खुद को छुपा लेती हैं। वह बहुत विनम्र हैं, अपने अस्तित्व से अनजान हैं। मां काली चाहती हैं कि ठाकुर जी का स्थूल अस्तित्व हो और वह भगवान का नाम सुनते ही समाधि में चले जाते हैं।
उच्च अवस्था में होते हुए भी माँ कभी समाधि में नहीं जातीं। वह बिना किसी शिकायत के सारे काम करती हैं। षोडशी पूजा के दौरान, वह एक काष्ठ के रूप में स्थिर हो जाती हैं और पूजा प्राप्त करती हैं। पूजा के बाद वह एक साधारण गृहिणी की तरह काम करती हैं। वह ठाकुर जी के प्रत्येक शिष्य को अपने बच्चे के रूप में सेवा करती हैं और सभी के लिए भोजन बनाती हैं। मदद करने के लिए कोई नौकर नहीं हैं। वह सभी को प्रसाद अपने हाथों से खिलाती हैं। अक्सर ठाकुर जी अपने शिष्यों को डांटते हैं। माँ बच्चों को बुलाती हैं और कहती हैं, “वह ठाकुर जी हैं, शायद थोड़े सख्त हैं। तुमने धोखा दिया या लूटा हो, लेकिन चिंता मत करो। मैं तुम्हारे साथ हूँ। याद रखना तुम्हारी माँ तुम्हारे साथ है इसलिए कोई तुम्हें नुकसान नहीं पहुँचा सकता।” ये शब्द कई लोगों के जीवन को बदल देते हैं।
नौबत खाना में शिष्याएं माँ के पास आती हैं, और पुरुष रामकृष्ण के पास जाते हैं। रामकृष्ण की दिव्य उपस्थिति में शिष्याएं खुश हो जाती हैं। वे ठाकुर जी के पास जाते हैं और रामकृष्ण उन्हें आशीर्वाद देते हैं। माँ दिव्य चर्चाओं के परमानंद की परवाह किए बिना सबकी सेवा करती रहती हैं।
दो से तीन शिष्या ऐसी होती हैं, जिनकी माताएं, बहनें और पत्नियां माँ के अधिक निकट होती हैं। माँ उन्हें शिष्य के नाम से पुकारती हैं, नाम के बाद ‘माँ’ लगाती है, योगिन माँ, योगिन नामक शिष्य की माँ, गंगा माँ, गंगा नाम की लड़की की माँ। एक दिन, शारदा माँ योगिन माँ से कहती हैं, “जब आप ठाकुर जी के पास जाएँ, तो मेरे लिए माँगें। अपनी सांसारिक इच्छाओं के बारे में मत पूछिए। उनसे मुझे आशीर्वाद देने के लिए कहें कि मुझे उनके दिव्य चरणों में प्रेम और भक्ति दें।” योगिन माँ ठाकुर जी के पास जाती हैं, और जब सभी कमरे से बाहर निकलते हैं, तो वह चुपचाप पूछती हैं, “ठाकुर जी! क्या आप नौबत में बैठी माँ को आशीर्वाद दे सकते हैं? उन्होंने मुझसे कहा कि आप उन्हें आशीर्वाद दें ताकि वे थोड़ी सी समाधी का आनंद ले सकें।” रामकृष्ण शांत हो जाते हैं और फिर कहते हैं, “आप हड्डियों और मांस के इस रूप में जो कुछ भी देख रहीं हैं, जिसे आप तत्व कहते हैं, परमहंस कहते हैं, यह सब उनकी वजह से है। क्या आप जानते हैं कि वह कौन हैं? वह मां काली, मां जगदम्बा हैं। वे मुझे आशीर्वाद देती हैं और इस रूप के माध्यम से यहां काम करतीं हैं। मैं उन्हें आशीर्वाद देने वाला कौन होता हूं?”
शिक्षा: वह पूर्ण माँ हैं, जो अपने पति और पुत्र को ईश्वर के साथ एक कर देती हैं। याद रखें कि आप भगवान् के हाथ की कठपुतली मात्र हैं। उसे सब कुछ करने दो। रामकृष्ण और विवेकानंद विशाल आध्यात्मिक बमों के रूप में उभरे, लेकिन ऊर्जा को छिपा नहीं सके। शक्ति, मातृ शक्ति, … ग्रह पर महिला के रूप में जन्म, राधा, माँ काली हैं। अपने आप को कभी कम मत समझो।
- सती ने त्यागा और शिव को अमरत्व प्राप्त हुआ। निराकार शिव को प्राप्त करना असंभव है, लेकिन शक्ति इसे संभव बनाती हैं। इसी तरह, माँ सीता (राम ने अमरत्व प्राप्त किया), शारदा माँ (रामकृष्ण ने अमरत्व प्राप्त किया), कैकेयी माँ (राम वन गए तो राम बन गए), और राधा (राधा के बिना कृष्ण भी आधे हैं) ने सहा।
- माँ ने अपनी शक्ति को छुपाया, लेकिन रामकृष्ण और विवेकानंद ने इसे प्रकट किया। दोनों ने बेम के सामान विस्फोट हुए, लेकिन उनके पास शक्ति को छिपाने की क्षमता नहीं थी। वह केवल माँ में थी।
- “माँ को किसी से भी मदद की उम्मीद नहीं थी। उन्होंने हर ठाकुर जी के शिष्य को अपनी सेवा दी, बिना किसी शिकायत के सामान खरीदा, खाना बनाया, धोया और साफ किया। उन्होंने किसी भी पुरुष को अपना चेहरा नहीं देखने दिया, लेकिन रामकृष्ण के अनुरोध पर, वह बाद में मान गईं। वे बिना करहाये सभी काम करती थीं। वे कभी समाधि में नहीं गईं। षोडशी पूजा में, उन्होंने पूजा प्राप्त की और काष्ठ के जैसे स्थिर हो गयीं, लेकिन उसके बाद, किसी ने उन्हें समाधि में जाते नहीं देखा। वे सामान्य गृहणी के जैसी काम करती थीं। वे कभी भी भगवान् के नाम को सुन कर अभिभूत नहीं होती थीं। यहाँ तक कि माँ ने भी रामकृष्ण को अपने पुत्र के रूप में सेवा दी, क्योंकि वह माँ हैं।”
- किसी ने कहा, “हमें ऊर्जा को गलत तरीके से बर्बाद नहीं करना चाहिए।” टीचर ने समझाया, “हम क्रोधित होकर, या वासना ग्रस्त होकर या रोने में अपनी ऊर्जा बर्बाद करते हैं। हमें इसे संरक्षित करना चाहिए।”
- किसी ने कहा, “भौतिक दुनिया में हम जो अत्यधिक ऊर्जा बर्बाद करते हैं, उसे बचाकर हमें उत्पादक बने रहना चाहिए।” टीचर ने समझाया, “परिवार में अधिक से अधिक बच्चे प्राप्त करना आज के युग में उत्पादकता है। आप किस प्रकार की उत्पादकता की बात कर रहे हैं?” टीचर ने ही उत्तर दिया, “हम उत्पादक नहीं हो सकते। भौतिक दुनिया के लिए उत्पादक होना बेकार है। हमें शरणागत करने की आवश्यकता है।”
- किसी ने पूछा, “केवल माताओं में ही धैर्य क्यों होता है, पिता में नहीं?” टीचर ने उत्तर दिया, “एक माँ अपने गर्भ में बच्चे को नौ महीने तक पालती है और फिर अपने खून से दूध बनाकर पिलाती है। पुरुष और स्त्री में कोई अंतर नहीं है। आत्मा एक है। लेकिन, शक्ति स्त्री रूप है। यही कारण है कि आत्मा को आत्मा (माँ) कहा जाता है, अतबाप (बाप-पिता) नहीं। एक माँ सब कुछ सहन करती है, और कभी करहाती नहीं। वह काम करती रहती है। पिता को ध्यान या दान करने का समय मिल सकता है। लेकिन , एक माँ को कभी भी मौन में ध्यान के लिए बैठने का समय नहीं मिलता है। वह लगातार काम करती है। लेकिन, अगर माँ आत्मा पर अपना मन लगाती है, तो वह कम समय में भगवान से एक हो जाती है। वह एक धर्मपत्नी होने के कारण अपने पूरे परिवार को मुक्त कर सकती है। ”
- जब हम किसी प्राणी की निस्वार्थ सेवा करते हैं, चींटी से लेकर हाथी तक, जो बदले में कुछ नहीं दे सकता, तो हमें बहुत कुछ मिलता है, हालाँकि हम कुछ भी उम्मीद नहीं करते हैं।
- “क्रोध खतरे को आमंत्रित करता है। आप अपने और दूसरों के लिए खतरनाक हो जाते हैं।”
