Guruji walked barefoot under the scorching sun. He walked towards Jalana, a town in India. The hot ground ulcerated his feet and thus could not walk further. He stood along the roadside to find any conveyance. On the empty road, he saw an Ambassador car coming closer. Only a driver drove it, with no passengers. Guruji waved his hand, but the driver didn’t bother and drove steadily. After a minute or so, the driver returned and said, “How did you dare to stop the car of our Lord?” Guruji said, “I don’t know the owner of the car. But, right now, I’m speaking to a human who is just like me. If I offended you, I apologize. Greetings to thee, irrespective you are richer or poorer to me.” The ego spurted out, and the driver started the engine’s ignition with a horrendous sound, then left.
After about five minutes, the driver returned and helped Guruji to enter the car. The driver said, “I shall be going to Jalana. Where shall you go?” Guruji said, “I shall be accompanying you to Jalana.” The driver reentered the car and drove humbly to Jalana. During the entire journey, both of them remained silent. In Jalana, he asked Guruji, “Sir! Whom do you wish to see?” Guruji said, “I’m unaware. From here, I shall be finding my way.” The driver introduced him to the owner of a tea stall. Then, the driver offered greetings humbly and left.
Moral: During the session, the teacher said, “When you are dependent on God totally, God works for you. Be it a greedy or a righteous person, if Guruji wants to make someone a medium, He does it. When the thought of helping others comes to your mind, it means that God wants to work through you. But, if merely wish to make money and be greedy, it means that your mind governs you.”
- During the feedback session, someone said, “Faith is the solution to everything. The teacher nodded in yes.
- Then, came the turn of little brothers. One of them said, “We should have faith in God.” The other said, “We should not boost over attitude.” The teacher nodded. The brothers’ mother asked, “What God wants me to work as per the divine will?” The teacher smiled and said, “It’s a million-dollar question. Being a housewife and mother of two sons, what God wants you to do? You are a mother who can liberate the preceding and succeeding seven generations. Pitru Paksha is going on; the month when people perform rituals for their ancestors. Once you realize the soul, your generations shall be the same. You have to build the character of your children. Inculcate the sanskaaras! Don’t consider yourself to be petty before the earning class. God does not want anything from the servants (naukar doing naukari). You have the biggest task. Doing nothing is the best sadhana. If you are doing something, then it means you have an ego.”
- A girl said, “We should do all tasks thinking that we are serving God. We find people when we work selflessly.” The teacher said, “We may not find people, but ways open up.” Her mother said, “I don’t know anything. But, we are in your abode, we shall reach some point.” The teacher said, “Remember, Jahan Naam Hai Vhan Naami Hai.” A boy said, “We should work as per God’s will.” The teacher said, “Yes, if God wants you to study, God will work through you. But, if you will run away from your studies, God will not work through you, and your mind will take over. The boy’s mother said, “We should have faith in God. But, I wanted to confess that his father blames me when children don’t study or don’t perform well.” The teacher said, “Let him blame you. You should have firm faith in God.”
- A young boy said, “God can test us at any moment. We hesitate to offer a ride to an unknown person, fearing that he may be a crook. We don’t have enough faith that the person cannot harm us, as God is with us. As the faith rises, problems go away. Problems come in everybody’s life.” The teacher nodded and smiled, “Yes son! Beautiful feedback. Everything happens due to a lack of faith. We fear snatching or robbery if we offer a ride to any person.” The boy’s mother said, “Problems do come, but we should be ready. We should not worry about the result. As we gather more faith, we become unaware of all the problems and thus bliss ascends.”
- Someone said, “When I was in the session when you were not here, I often judged others. After the session, I introspected myself and prayed to Guruji to help me overcome the situation. If I didn’t pray to him, thoughts continued.” The teacher emphasized faith. Her mother said, “When I met you and saw the degree to which you are surrendered, left me spellbound.” The teacher said, “Don’t worry. It will come.”
- Someone said, “When we have faith, God grants all our selfless wishes.” The teacher said, “God even grants selfish wishes but you have to bear the consequences. A couple asked for a child for forty years of their life, but when they had one, they suffered as the child even sold his mother’s clothes for buying alcohol. If you will ask for wishes, you shall suffer. Never judge others.”
- Someone said, “He is guiding us on his way, but we always forget.” The teacher said, “Come here every day, and you shall remember. Asanas are not important. You feel the energy, the power within you, that’s it. You may also find such energy in a mandir or a masjid, but here you find it because of the presence of the realized soul.”
- Another person said, “It is important to surrender. He is the doer.” The teacher said, “Death can come anytime. Thus, we should be ready to face it, without any attachment to body or mind. Just have faith.”
- Someone shared her experience, “Since I have begun leaving everything unto God, I get sound sleeps and feel relaxed.” Someone said, “Guruji felt that he is talking to God in the form of the driver. That was a beautiful reminder.” Another said, “We should not even expect anything from God and be selfless.” The teacher concluded, “We should have complete love and faith in God.”
- The teacher concluded the session, “Guruji was Janmsiddh, we all are but we are unaware. No one knew that he was enlightened and was more ordinary than an ordinary man. Swami Vivekananda has said, ‘Assert your true nature, manifest it. Not to become pure, you are pure already. You are not to be perfect, you are that already. Nature is like the screen which is hiding the reality beyond. Every good thought that you think or act upon is simply tearing the veil, as it were; and the purity, the infinity, the God behind, manifests Itself more and more.”
दृढ़ विश्वास: चिलचिलाती धूप में गुरुजी नंगे पांव चले। वह भारत के एक शहर जालना की ओर चल पड़े। गर्म जमीन से उनके पैरों में छाले पड़ गए और वे आगे नहीं चल सके। वे किसी वाहन को खोजने के लिए सड़क के किनारे खड़े थे। खाली सड़क पर उन्होंने देखा कि एक एंबेसडर कार करीब आ रही है। केवल एक ड्राइवर उसे चला रहा था, जिसमें कोई यात्री नहीं था। गुरुजी ने हाथ हिलाया, लेकिन ड्राइवर ने ध्यान नहीं दिया और तेजी से गाड़ी चला रहा था। एक मिनट के बाद, ड्राइवर वापस आया और कहा, “तुमने हमारे आका की कार को रोकने की हिम्मत कैसे की?” गुरुजी ने कहा, “मैं कार के मालिक को नहीं जानता। लेकिन, अभी, मैं एक ऐसे इंसान से बात कर रहा हूं जो मेरे जैसा ही है। अगर मैंने आपको ठेस पहुंचाई है, तो मैं माफी मांगता हूं। आपको नमस्कार, चाहे आप अमीर हों या गरीब।” अहंकार फूट पड़ा, और चालक ने एक भयानक ध्वनि के साथ इंजन का प्रज्वलन शुरू किया, फिर चला गया।
लगभग पाँच मिनट के बाद, चालक वापस आया और गुरुजी को कार में प्रवेश करने में मदद की। चालक ने कहा, “मैं जालना जा रहा हूँ। आप कहाँ जायेंगे?” गुरुजी ने कहा, “मैं तुम्हारे साथ जालना चलूँगा।” चालक ने कार में फिर से प्रवेश किया और विनम्रतापूर्वक जालना चला गया। पूरी यात्रा के दौरान दोनों खामोश रहे। जालना में उसने गुरुजी से पूछा, “श्रीमान! आप किसे देखना चाहते हैं?” गुरुजी ने कहा, “मैं अनजान हूँ। यहाँ से, मैं अपना रास्ता खोजूँगा।” ड्राइवर ने गुरूजी को एक चाय की दुकान के मालिक से मिलवाया। फिर, चालक ने विनम्रतापूर्वक अभिवादन किया और चला गया। - शिक्षा: सत्र के दौरान, टीचर ने कहा, “जब आप पूरी तरह से भगवान पर निर्भर होते हैं, तो भगवान आपके लिए काम करता है। चाहे वह लालची हो या धर्मी व्यक्ति, यदि गुरुजी किसी को माध्यम बनाना चाहते हैं, तो वह करते हैं। जब विचार आता है दूसरों की मदद करने का, इसका मतलब है कि भगवान आपके माध्यम से काम करना चाहता है। लेकिन, अगर आप केवल पैसा कमाना चाहते हैं और लालची होना चाहते हैं, तो इसका मतलब है कि आपका मन आप पर शासन करता है।”
- फीडबैक सत्र के दौरान, किसी ने कहा, “विश्वास ही हर चीज का समाधान है। टीचर ने हां में सिर हिलाया।
- फिर, छोटे भाइयों की बारी आई। उनमें से एक ने कहा, “हमें ईश्वर में विश्वास रखना चाहिए।” दूसरे ने कहा, “हमें ऐटिटूड नहीं दिखाना चाहिए।” टीचर ने सिर हिलाया। भाइयों की मां ने पूछा, “भगवान क्या चाहते हैं कि मैं ईश्वरीय इच्छा के अनुसार काम करूं?” टीचर ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा, “यह एक मिलियन डॉलर का सवाल है। एक गृहिणी और दो बेटों की मां होने के नाते, भगवान आपसे क्या चाहते हैं? आप एक मां हैं जो पिछली और आने वाली सात पीढ़ियों को मुक्त कर सकती हैं। पितृ पक्ष चल रहा है; जिस महीने लोग अपने पूर्वजों के लिए अनुष्ठान करते हैं। एक बार जब आप आत्मा को महसूस करते हैं, तो आपकी पीढ़ियां भी तर जाती हैं। आपको अपने बच्चों के चरित्र का निर्माण करना होगा। संस्कारों को विकसित करें! कमाई वर्ग से पहले खुद को छोटा मत समझो। भगवान को सेवकों से कुछ नहीं चाहिए (नौकर नौकरी कर रहा है)। आपके पास सबसे बड़ा काम है। कुछ भी नहीं करना सबसे अच्छी साधना है। अगर आप कुछ कर रहे हैं, तो इसका मतलब है कि आपके पास अहंकार है।”
- एक लड़की ने कहा, “हमें सभी कार्य यह सोचकर करना चाहिए कि हम भगवान की सेवा कर रहे हैं। हमें लोग तब मिलते हैं जब हम निस्वार्थ भाव से काम करते हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “हमें लोग नहीं मिल सकते हैं, लेकिन रास्ते खुलते हैं।” उसकी माँ ने कहा, “मुझे कुछ नहीं पता। लेकिन, हम आपकी शरण में हैं, हम किसी बिंदु पर पहुंचेंगे।” टीचर ने कहा, “याद रखें, जहां नाम है वहां नामी है।” एक लड़के ने कहा, “हमें भगवान की इच्छा के अनुसार काम करना चाहिए।” टीचर ने कहा, “हाँ, अगर भगवान चाहते हैं कि आप अध्ययन करें, भगवान आपके माध्यम से काम करेंगे। लेकिन, अगर आप अपनी पढ़ाई से दूर भागेंगे, तो भगवान आपके माध्यम से काम नहीं करेगा, और आपका मन आपको ले जाएगा। लड़के की मां ने कहा, “हमें ईश्वर में विश्वास रखना चाहिए। लेकिन, मैं कबूल करना चाहती हूँ कि जब बच्चे पढ़ाई नहीं करते हैं या अच्छा प्रदर्शन नहीं करते हैं तो उनके पिता मुझे दोषी ठहराते हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “उन्हें आपको दोष देने दो। आपको ईश्वर में दृढ़ विश्वास रखना चाहिए।”
- एक युवा लड़के ने कहा, “भगवान किसी भी क्षण हमारी परीक्षा ले सकते हैं। हम किसी अज्ञात व्यक्ति को सवारी देने में संकोच करते हैं, इस डर से कि वह एक बदमाश हो सकता है। हमें इतना विश्वास नहीं है कि वह व्यक्ति हमें नुकसान नहीं पहुंचा सकता, क्योंकि भगवान है हमारे साथ। जैसे-जैसे विश्वास बढ़ता है, समस्याएं दूर होती हैं। हर किसी के जीवन में समस्याएं आती हैं।” टीचर ने सिर हिलाया और मुस्कुराया, “हाँ बेटा! सुंदर फीडबैक। सब कुछ विश्वास की कमी के कारण होता है। अगर हम किसी व्यक्ति को सवारी देते हैं तो हमें डकैती का डर होता है।” लड़के की माँ ने कहा, “समस्याएँ आती हैं, लेकिन हमें तैयार रहना चाहिए। हमें परिणाम की चिंता नहीं करनी चाहिए। जैसे-जैसे हम और अधिक विश्वास इकट्ठा करते हैं, हम सभी समस्याओं से अनजान हो जाते हैं और इस तरह आनंद बढ़ता है।”
- किसी ने कहा, “जब मैं सत्र में थी जब आप यहां नहीं थे, मैं अक्सर दूसरों को जज करती थी। सत्र के बाद, मैंने आत्मनिरीक्षण किया और स्थिति से उबरने में मेरी मदद करने के लिए गुरुजी से प्रार्थना की। अगर मैंने उनसे प्रार्थना नहीं की, तो विचार जारी रहे।” टीचर ने विश्वास पर जोर दिया। उनकी माँ ने कहा, “जब मैं आपसे मिली और आपमें जिस हद तक समर्पण किया है, उसे देखा, तो मुझे मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।” टीचर ने कहा, “चिंता मत करो। यह आ जाएगा।”
- किसी ने कहा, “जब हमारे पास विश्वास होता है, तो भगवान हमारी सभी निस्वार्थ इच्छाओं को पूरा करते हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “भगवान स्वार्थी इच्छाएं भी देते हैं लेकिन आपको परिणाम भुगतना पड़ता है। एक जोड़े ने अपने जीवन के चालीस साल के लिए एक बच्चा मांगा, लेकिन जब उनके पास एक था, तो उसने पीड़ित किया क्योंकि बच्चे ने शराब खरीदने के लिए अपनी मां के कपड़े भी बेच दिए। यदि आप इच्छाएं मांगेंगे, तो आप फसेंगे। जो मानग वो फसा। कभी किसी को जज न करें।”
- किसी ने कहा, “वह अपने रास्ते पर हमारा मार्गदर्शन कर रहा है, लेकिन हम हमेशा भूल जाते हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “हर दिन यहां आईये, और आपको याद रहेगा। आसन महत्वपूर्ण नहीं हैं। आप अपने भीतर की ऊर्जा, शक्ति को महसूस करते हैं, बस। आपको ऐसी ऊर्जा मंदिर या मस्जिद में भी मिल सकती है, लेकिन यहां आप पाते हैं साकार आत्मा की उपस्थिति के कारण है।”
- एक अन्य व्यक्ति ने कहा, “समर्पण करना महत्वपूर्ण है। वह कर्ता है।” टीचर ने कहा, “मृत्यु कभी भी आ सकती है। इस प्रकार, हमें इसका सामना करने के लिए तैयार रहना चाहिए, शरीर या मन से कोई आसक्ति नहीं होनी चाहिए। बस विश्वास रखें।”
- किसी ने अपना अनुभव साझा किया, “चूंकि मैंने सब कुछ भगवान पर छोड़ना शुरू कर दिया है, मुझे अच्छी नींद आती है और आराम महसूस होता है।” किसी ने कहा, “गुरुजी को लगा कि वह ड्राइवर के रूप में भगवान से बात कर रहे हैं। वह एक सुंदर अनुस्मारक था।” एक अन्य ने कहा, “हमें भगवान से कुछ भी उम्मीद नहीं करनी चाहिए और निस्वार्थ होना चाहिए।” टीचर ने निष्कर्ष निकाला, “हमें ईश्वर में पूर्ण प्रेम और विश्वास रखना चाहिए।”
- टीचर ने सत्र का समापन किया, “गुरुजी जन्मसिद्ध थे, हम सब भी हैं लेकिन हम अनजान हैं। कोई नहीं जानता था कि वे प्रबुद्ध थे और एक सामान्य व्यक्ति की तुलना में अधिक सामान्य थे। स्वामी विवेकानंद ने कहा है, ‘अपने वास्तविक स्वरूप का दावा करें, इसे प्रकट करें। शुद्ध बनने के लिए, आप पहले से ही शुद्ध हैं। आपको पूर्ण नहीं होना है, आप पहले से ही हैं। प्रकृति उस परदे की तरह है जो वास्तविकता को परे छिपा रही है। हर अच्छा विचार जो आप सोचते हैं या कार्य करते हैं, वह केवल परदे को फाड़ रहा है, जैसे कि यह थे; और पवित्रता, अनंत, पीछे का ईश्वर, स्वयं को अधिक से अधिक प्रकट करता है।”
