God is everywhere

Baba Nanak with his disciples was traveling to all the holy places by foot throughout Bharat. One day they were traveling in the jungle, and his disciple Mardana said,’ Ho Baba we have gone to all the holy pilgrimage places can’t we go to Hajj as well? Baba said, “Why not?” He said let us go to Mecca. Baba always says,

‘Awwal allah noor upaaya, kudarat ke sab bande

ek noor te sab jag upjeya, kaun bhale kaun mande’

Meaning: First, God created the light; then, by that one light he created mortal beings. From the one light, the entire universe welled up. So, who is a friend and who is an enemy?

Baba had a blanket he asked everyone along with Mardana to sit on the blanket. Baba said let us go to Mecca, within the blink of an eye they reached Mecca. Baba was lying in the blanket and his feet were facing Kaaba. There is a belief that we can’t keep our feet facing the holy Kaaba. The Mullah, Moulvi working there, got angry and shouted,’ Who is he, he is facing his feet towards holy Kaaba, move him aside. They started accusing Baba saying,’ He came to destroy our religion’.

 Baba said, “Move where ever you want me to move and tell me one single place in the entire universe where God doesn’t exist and keep my feet there.”

They moved his feet where ever they moved his feet Kaaba also moved in that direction. They were surprised. Gurus like Baba comes to this world to make us realize the truth God is everywhere and we should keep God in mind and not the whole world in the mind.

We have to come out of all this misleading belief that we shouldn’t keep our feet in this direction and many other superstitious ideas. Our body is here we have to leave it one day but if the mind doesn’t die before the body dies then we have to be born again. The mind can’t be killed or removed but we can keep our focus on Ram, Allah, and automatically world will leave the mind.

You will live in this world and God will live in your mind but we are searching for God in the world and keeping the world in mind and this is the reason for our suffering. Keep faith that God is within us working through us and for us for the betterment of the World.

Someone said, “God is everywhere and we should feel him.” Teacher asked, “Do you feel him?” He answered, “I tried to feel him wholeheartedly.” Teacher said, “If you try wholeheartedly, you can get anything in life then you will find God as well for sure.” He said, “God is with me but I am not able to feel him.” Teacher said, “You will feel him as well. We use our senses to see and feel things but by using them we are not able to God so we think he is not there. The truth is God is there. You are able to breathe means you are alive. You are alive because that soul is within you. If the soul leaves your body, then you will not be able to see, hear or feel anything. You are alive is the proof that God is within you.”

A boy said, “We have to make a friendly relationship with God. We should think of him as supreme power but we should have a relationship with him.” Teacher said, “No, we should not think of God as the supreme power. If you think of Him as supreme power then you will create a big distance between you and God. A friendly relationship is the best. When you are friends with God, you always remember him and feel him. He will always be close to our hearts.” He said, “Yes. We will be scared of him if we think of God as a supreme power.” Teacher said, “Without any reason, we will be scared of him. God is whatever he is but for us, he is our friend and we love him.” The boy said, “To see God in others first we have to see him within ourselves.” Teacher said, “As you start to see him within you, you can see him in others as well.”

A lady said, “We make God sit in a Mandir and think he will stay in Mandir only but God is actually everywhere.” Teacher said, “Wait a minute. How this mandir is formed? Mandir means – Mann k Andar. We have physically created a Mandir outside but the actual Mandir is inside. Our body is the house and Mann is the room where God stays. You try to find him outside in the world is wrong.”

A girl said, “From today’s story I have learned God is everywhere and we should keep on doing Naam Jap.” Teacher asked, “Where can we find God more?” The girl answered, “Everywhere.” Teacher said, “Everywhere but I am not able to feel him in this stick more.” The girl said, “God is in the stick as well.” Teacher said, “Why I can feel him more within me and less in the stick? God is everywhere but we can feel him more easily in our hearts. Try to feel God in your heart.”

A lady said, “Today I have understood that God is everywhere and he is in every direction as well. I was very cautious about direction. I used to follow to keep Mandir in a particular direction and not to sleep in the south direction and many more. I was taught to me in childhood to follow all these and so it is deep in my conscious to follow them. Today I have learned not to follow them all.” Teacher said, “You should not follow any of them. God is beyond rules.”

भगवान हर जगह है

बाबा नानक अपने शिष्यों के साथ पूरे भारत में पैदल सभी पवित्र स्थानों की यात्रा कर रहे थे। एक दिन वे जंगल में यात्रा कर रहे थे, और उनके शिष्य मरदाना ने कहा, ‘हो बाबा हम सभी पवित्र तीर्थ स्थानों पर गए हैं, क्या हम हज पर भी नहीं जा सकते? बाबा ने कहा, “क्यों नहीं? उन्होंने कहा कि चलो मक्का चलते हैं। बाबा हमेशा कहते हैं,

‘अव्वल अल्लाह नूर उपाध्याय, कुदरत के सब बंदे

एक नूर ते सब जग जगजेया, कौन भाले कौन मांडे’

अर्थ: सबसे पहले, परमेश्वर ने प्रकाश को बनाया; फिर, उस एक प्रकाश से उसने नश्वर प्राणियों का निर्माण किया। एक प्रकाश से, पूरा ब्रह्मांड सूख गया। तो, कौन एक दोस्त है और कौन दुश्मन है?

बाबा के पास एक कंबल था, उन्होंने मरदाना के साथ सभी को कंबल पर बैठने के लिए कहा। बाबा ने कहा कि चलो मक्का चलते हैं, पलक झपकते ही वे मक्का पहुंच गए। बाबा कंबल में लेटे हुए थे और उनके पैर काबा की ओर थे। ऐसी मान्यता है कि हम पवित्र काबा की ओर अपने पैर नहीं रख सकते। वहां काम कर रहे मुल्ला, मौलवी नाराज हो गए और चिल्लाए, ‘वह कौन है, वह पवित्र काबा की ओर अपने पैरों का सामना कर रहा है, उसे एक तरफ ले जाओ। वे बाबा पर यह कहते हुए आरोप लगाने लगे कि वह हमारे धर्म को नष्ट करने आए हैं।

बाबा ने कहा, “तुम जहां चाहो वहां चलो और मुझे पूरे ब्रह्मांड में एक भी जगह बताओ जहां भगवान मौजूद नहीं है और मेरे पैर वहां रखें।

वे उसके पैरों को हिलाते थे जहां वे उसके पैरों को हिलाते थे, काबा भी उस दिशा में चला जाता था। वे आश्चर्यचकित थे। बाबा जैसे गुरु इस दुनिया में हमें सच्चाई का एहसास कराने के लिए आते हैं कि भगवान हर जगह हैं और हमें भगवान को ध्यान में रखना चाहिए न कि पूरी दुनिया को मन में।

हमें इस भ्रामक धारणा से बाहर आना होगा कि हमें इस दिशा और कई अन्य अंधविश्वासी विचारों में अपने पैर नहीं रखने चाहिए। हमारा शरीर यहां है, हमें इसे एक दिन छोड़ना होगा लेकिन अगर शरीर के मरने से पहले मन नहीं मरता है तो हमें फिर से जन्म लेना होगा। मन को मारा या हटाया नहीं जा सकता है, लेकिन हम राम, अल्लाह पर अपना ध्यान केंद्रित कर सकते हैं, और स्वचालित रूप से दुनिया मन को छोड़ देगी।

आप इस दुनिया में रहेंगे और भगवान आपके मन में रहेंगे लेकिन हम दुनिया में भगवान की खोज कर रहे हैं और दुनिया को ध्यान में रख रहे हैं और यही हमारे दुख का कारण है। विश्वास रखें कि परमेश्वर हमारे भीतर हमारे माध्यम से और दुनिया की भलाई के लिए काम कर रहा है।

किसी ने कहा, “भगवान हर जगह है और हमें उसे महसूस करना चाहिए। शिक्षक ने पूछा, “क्या आप उसे महसूस करते हैं? उसने जवाब दिया, “मैंने उसे पूरे दिल से महसूस करने की कोशिश की। शिक्षक ने कहा, “यदि आप पूरे दिल से प्रयास करते हैं, आप जीवन में कुछ भी प्राप्त कर सकते हैं तो आपको भगवान भी निश्चित रूप से मिल जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा, “भगवान मेरे साथ हैं लेकिन मैं उन्हें महसूस नहीं कर पा रहा हूं। शिक्षक ने कहा, “आप उसे भी महसूस करेंगे। हम चीजों को देखने और महसूस करने के लिए अपनी इंद्रियों का उपयोग करते हैं लेकिन उनका उपयोग करके हम भगवान के लिए सक्षम नहीं हैं इसलिए हमें लगता है कि वह वहां नहीं है। सच्चाई यह है कि भगवान वहां है। आप सांस लेने में सक्षम हैं, इसका मतलब है कि आप जीवित हैं। तुम जीवित हो क्योंकि वह आत्मा तुम्हारे भीतर है। यदि आत्मा आपके शरीर को छोड़ देती है, तो आप कुछ भी देख, सुन या महसूस नहीं कर पाएंगे। आप जीवित हैं, यह इस बात का प्रमाण है कि भगवान आपके भीतर है।

एक लड़के ने कहा, “हमें भगवान के साथ दोस्ताना रिश्ता बनाना होगा। हमें उन्हें सर्वोच्च शक्ति के रूप में सोचना चाहिए, लेकिन हमें उनके साथ संबंध रखना चाहिए। शिक्षक ने कहा, “नहीं, हमें भगवान को सर्वोच्च शक्ति के रूप में नहीं सोचना चाहिए। यदि आप उसे सर्वोच्च शक्ति के रूप में सोचते हैं तो आप अपने और भगवान के बीच एक बड़ी दूरी पैदा करेंगे। एक दोस्ताना संबंध सबसे अच्छा है। जब आप भगवान के दोस्त होते हैं, तो आप हमेशा उसे याद करते हैं और उसे महसूस करते हैं। वह हमेशा हमारे दिल के करीब रहेंगे। उन्होंने कहा, “हां। अगर हम भगवान को सर्वोच्च शक्ति मानते हैं तो हम उससे डरेंगे। टीचर ने कहा, ‘बिना वजह हम उससे डर जाएंगे। भगवान जो भी है वह है लेकिन हमारे लिए, वह हमारा दोस्त है और हम उससे प्यार करते हैं। लड़के ने कहा, “दूसरों में भगवान को देखने के लिए पहले हमें उसे अपने भीतर देखना होगा। शिक्षक ने कहा, “जैसे ही आप उसे अपने भीतर देखना शुरू करते हैं, आप उसे दूसरों में भी देख सकते हैं।

एक महिला ने कहा, “हम भगवान को एक मंदिर में बैठाते हैं और सोचते हैं कि वह केवल मंदिर में रहेंगे लेकिन भगवान वास्तव में हर जगह हैं। शिक्षक ने कहा, “एक मिनट रुको। इस मंदिर का निर्माण कैसे किया जाता है? मंदिर का अर्थ है – मन के अंदर। हमने भौतिक रूप से बाहर एक मंदिर बनाया है लेकिन वास्तविक मंदिर अंदर है। हमारा शरीर घर है और मान वह कमरा है जहां भगवान रहते हैं। आप उसे दुनिया में बाहर खोजने की कोशिश करते हैं, यह गलत है।

एक लड़की ने कहा, “आज की कहानी से मैंने सीखा है कि भगवान हर जगह है और हमें नाम जप करते रहना चाहिए। शिक्षक ने पूछा, “हम भगवान को और कहाँ पा सकते हैं? लड़की ने जवाब दिया, “हर जगह। टीचर ने कहा, “हर जगह लेकिन मैं उसे इस छड़ी में ज्यादा महसूस नहीं कर पा रहा हूं। लड़की ने कहा, “भगवान डंडे में भी है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “मैं उसे अपने भीतर अधिक और छड़ी में कम क्यों महसूस कर सकता हूं? भगवान हर जगह है, लेकिन हम उसे अपने दिलों में अधिक आसानी से महसूस कर सकते हैं।अपने दिल में भगवान को महसूस करने की कोशिश करें।

एक महिला ने कहा, “आज मैं समझ गई हूं कि भगवान हर जगह हैं और वह हर दिशा में भी हैं। मैं निर्देशन को लेकर बहुत सतर्क था। मैं मंदिर को एक विशेष दिशा में रखने और दक्षिण दिशा में नहीं सोने के लिए अनुसरण करता था। मुझे बचपन में इन सभी का पालन करना सिखाया गया था और इसलिए उनका पालन करना मेरे होश में गहरा है। आज मैंने उन सभी का पालन नहीं करना सीखा है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “आपको उनमें से किसी का भी अनुसरण नहीं करना चाहिए। भगवान नियमों से परे है।
