Knowledge shouldn’t traverse

This is the story of based on several judgements, which should pervade in our existence, or we shall remain befooled all our lives.

One day, a puppeteer visited the court of a king. He arrived with two identical puppets. He payed respect to the king, and proclaimed that he wished to know the difference between the two puppets. If the king failed to create the discrimination, he said that he would declare him as a foolish king, amongst other kings. He added that he had been searching for the answer since a long time, and hundreds of kings had passed by, with a sluggish face of shame. The king was puzzled. He asked the puppeteer to give the puppets to him, for he could ponder over their construction. The puppet-maker announced that he would return within twenty-four hours, with a grand mob, to see the results. The king agreed. The tensed king gave all the looks to the puppets, despite tiring efforts, his efforts appeared futile. He visualized each and every thread and bead of the puppets, but in vain. One of his wise ministers came to him, and consoled him that he would find the answer, before the sun of dawn peeped through the horizon. Next morning, the minister went to the king, and told about his discovery. The restless king took a sighed with relief. The minister claimed that he knew the answer. The puppeteer was called, he appeared with the grand mob, as promised. He asked the king about the discovery. The king said that the answer was very meagre, and continued that his ministers were also aware about the answer. The minister was asked, and he replied that one of the puppets could fetch one pound, and the another one could fetch them hundred pounds. The puppet was amazed, and asked the minister to prove it. The minister picked up a thread and inserted it into the ear of one of the puppets. The thread appeared from the opposite ear, viz, traversed the puppet’s head. But, when the thread was inserted into the ear of the another puppet, the thread didn’t appear from the opposite ear, rather it ventured towards the doll’s bosom.

Hence proved, when we receive some knowledge, we fell like littering it around. But, in reality, we do not acquire or rather practice its essence. We prefer forwarding quotes and sayings in social media, but practice remains far behind.
