An-al Haqq

Anal Haqq… Aham Brahmaasmi, Tatwam Asi, Sarvatra Khalvidam Brahma….. I’m Brahma, You are the same, Everything is the energy.

There was a Sufi saint named Mansoor. He was always engrossed in divine ecstasy and constantly repeated Anal Haqq-Anal Haqq. The Mughal king of that era didn’t like the notion that the saint called himself Allah. As it is said, half knowledge is dangerous. The people didn’t conceive the Quran’s complete gist and felt it was a sin to call oneself Allah. The king called Mansoor into his court and said, “Don’t say that you are Allah. Just say that Allah exists.” Mansoor was in divine fervor and continued repeating Anal Haqq. The king became angry and sentenced Mansoor to death. The king announced and commanded his subjects to collect in the center of Delhi in front of Red fort, the next day. All wondered about the future. Mansoor’s every cell called out Anal Haqq. 

The next day, people assembled in front of Red fort. The king asked Mansoor, “We are asking you the last time to admit your mistake or else you shall be beheaded.” Mansoor continued repeating Anal Haqq. Soon, Mansoor’s head was chopped. To the greatest amazement, every drop of blood repeated Anal Haqq- Anal Haqq, loudly. The king stood amazed. Soon, the king realized his mistake.

With great respect, Mansoor was buried in front of Red Fort. Even today, people who visit his tomb with faith, listen to the words Anal Haqq. 

अनल हक़… अहम् ब्रह्मास्मि, तत्वम् असि, सर्वत्र खल्विदं ब्रह्म….. मैं ब्रह्म हूँ, तुम वही हो, सब कुछ ऊर्जा है।

मंसूर नाम के एक सूफी संत थे। वह हमेशा दिव्य परमानंद में तल्लीन रहते थे और लगातार अनल हक़-अनल हक़ दोहराते थे। उस जमाने के मुगल बादशाह को यह धारणा पसंद नहीं थी कि संत खुद को अल्लाह कहते हैं। जैसा कि कहा जाता है, आधा ज्ञान खतरनाक होता है। लोगों ने कुरान के पूर्ण सार की कल्पना नहीं की और सोचा कि खुद को अल्लाह कहना पाप है। राजा ने मंसूर को अपने दरबार में बुलाया और कहा, “मत कहो कि तुम अल्लाह हो। बस इतना कहो कि अल्लाह है।” मंसूर आत्मिक आनंद में थे और ‘अनल हक़’ दोहराते रहे। राजा ने क्रोधित होकर मंसूर को मृत्युदंड दे दिया। राजा ने घोषणा की और अपनी प्रजा को अगले दिन लाल किले के सामने दिल्ली के केंद्र में इकट्ठा होने का आदेश दिया। सभी भविष्य के बारे में सोच रहे थे। मंसूर का हर कोश ‘अनल हक़’ कह रहा था।

अगले दिन लोग लाल किले के सामने जमा हो गए। राजा ने मंसूर से कहा, “हम आखिरी बार तुमसे अपनी गलती स्वीकार करने के लिए कह रहे हैं, नहीं तो तुम्हारा सिर काट दिया जाएगा।” मंसूर ‘अनल हक़’ दोहराते रहे। जल्द ही मंसूर का सिर काट दिया गया। सबसे बड़े आश्चर्य के लिए, खून की हर बूंद ने जोर से अनल हक़-अनल हक़ दोहराया। राजा चकित खड़ा था। जल्द ही राजा को अपनी गलती का एहसास हुआ।

मंसूर को बड़े सम्मान के साथ लाल किले के सामने दफनाया गया। आज भी उनकी मजार पर आस्था के साथ जाने वाले लोग ‘अनल हक़’ शब्द सुनते हैं।
