One day, Narad Ji came to visit the earth and saw a bunch of people sitting under a tree. One of them saw Narad Ji and greeted him. Narad Ji, lost in the ecstasy for Narayan, said, “Narayan-Narayan.” People asked him, “O Brahmrishi! As you wander across the seven worlds, where did you come from before visiting the earth?” Narad Ji said, “I came from Narayan’s abode.” People asked, “What was He doing while you were there?”
Narad Ji said, “Oh! Narayan was dealing with an elephant and a needle.” People asked, “What was he doing with them?” Narad Ji said, “He was inserting the elephant through the hole of the needle.” The person who asked Narad Ji was very simple and felt, “Narayan can do anything.” But, the other people who had big heads, considering themselves Leo Tolstoy, said, “How is this possible? It is not possible.” Narad Ji said, “Well! I told you the truth. Now, whether you believe it or not.” The person who didn’t doubt really saw that Narayan passed an elephant through the tiny hole of a needle and realized the eternal truth, thus becoming one with the Self.
Moral: The people who use their brains remain indulged in their thoughts and the simple person rises to great heights.
A boy said, “We should have faith in God. Nothing is impossible for him.” The teacher said, “Good! You have firm faith. Don’t you?” The boy said, “Hmm!” The teacher said, “Hmm! Have faith and don’t fear.” His brother said, “I learned that if we have faith, everything shall happen easily.” The teacher said, “Okay, then for what should we keep the faith? For the toys or to earn marks in exams?” The boy said, “For carrying out God’s will, we should have faith.” The teacher said, “Irrespective of the faith, we are forced to act under God’s will.” The boy said, “If we will have faith, all our tasks shall happen smoothly.” The teacher said, “There is no task of ours. No task is good or bad. Everything is God’s. Once we have faith, we will be blissful, irrespective of the circumstances.” Their mother said, “God lives within us. I have the faith that I shall have the vision of God.” The teacher said, “Good, have faith.”
A girl said, “I learned that whatever God does, it is for the best.” The teacher said, “What is good in the job of inserting an elephant through a needle’s hole?” The girl said, “He did it to show us that nothing is impossible for God.”
Someone said, “We should be really simple.” The teacher said, “It means we should throw away the filthy brain and be blissful. The filthy brain is the root of all suffering. There is one way to get rid of all problems. Give the brain to God and be free.”
A lady said, “We should not use our logic.” The teacher said, “People ask for logic. And, here we are pursuing the attributes of ‘buddhiheen.’ What is this?” The lady said, “We don’t have to use logic.” The teacher smiled and said, “Then, if you don’t want to use the logic, don’t use it. Try not to use your logic for a few days, and you will see the difference.”
Someone said, “An elephant passed through a hole, then everything is possible.” The teacher nodded.
Another lady said, “I learned many things from the story. The first moral is God likes doing unusual tasks. (Laughed) The second moral was as we grow up, we become fixed in our limited frames of mind and think in a limited span.” The teacher smiled and said, “If there is selflessness, then everything is possible. When we begin the session, we start by saying ‘I’m not alone. God is with me. There is nothing in this world that he and I cannot do together.’ If there is selfishness, then even a thread cannot enter a needle’s hole.”
Someone said, “It was the story of faith and surrender. Often, you say that elephant shall come and pass through the hole, but often the elephant can’t pass. Then, you try to prove it as well. This is the game of faith. It is the test that God presents for us.” The teacher said, “God does not take exams. It is our deeds which make us suffer.” The person continued, “Once we have faith, any doubts posed by the mind, don’t affect us.” The teacher said, “Let me tell you a simple thing. Unusual thoughts come to me. I felt that we will make a big jungle. I call people and they believe that we will have a big jungle, without a speck of land or money. But, we surely get a big jungle. If the motive is selfless, then things happen automatically. People may ask to show them an elephant passing through the needle…. won’t show them. Have faith in the words or else go to hell.”
A boy said, “If we have faith, an elephant can pass through the needle. You asked about the need for passing an elephant through the needle. It was necessary to teach us a lesson and secondly, it helped the person attain realization.” The teacher said, “It’s very good, son! Another thing is nothing is impossible. If we doubt His skills, we suffer. If God could create silly people like me, then can’t he do the impossible?” A mother said, “It is absolutely true. As you transformed people like us into humans, then he is the almighty.” The teacher said, “Well! I was telling it for myself. Whatever you understood, it’s good. But, remember that your selfish wishes to earn marks or get married won’t be granted. It is a matter of selflessness.”
A young man said, “We should not use our brains.” The teacher said, You tell this every day, but still don’t use it.” The man said, “I know about it, but I’m working on it and seeing it reduce gradually. I shall surely be faithful.” The teacher said, “O son! I know Guruji shall surely make you faithful.”
A young girl said, “Nothing is impossible for God. We have faith in God that he can do everything, but we should have faith in ourselves that we can do everything.” The teacher said, “You are seeing me. When I was of your age, I wanted to become a doctor. I have faith that I shall become a doctor, staying in my village. With this faith, I truly qualified for the exams and became a doctor. With selfish faith, I became a doctor, but then I found Guruji, who imparted faith with selflessness and showed me that I was being prepared for a bigger job. Now, you see how things happen smoothly on the path of selflessness. You may have some dreams to attain a rank or job. But, God will give you the things which will take you closer to Him. The desire or thought which makes you suffer and take you away from divinity, will not be granted.” Her mother gave the feedback, ” Children also ask unusual questions and their innocent imagination makes an elephant pass through the tiny hole. We need to have the faith of a child. A child has faith that his mother won’t harm him. Such a faith…” The teacher said, “God loves you seventy times a mother’s love. Then, why will he take your test?” The mother continued, “A thought comes to me. I attend the session regularly and learn a lot, but why am I unable to practice it completely?” The teacher laughed and said, “Today, you see an elephant passing through the needle’s hole and then you shall be able to practice the virtues.” The mother laughed as well and said, “I shall do it.”
A person said, “While you were narrating the story, and as you say about a big brain between two big ears… I used the mind while interpreting the story. As you said, Narayan, I visualized Narayan in his magnificent form. But, then I used my brain and thought that firstly the elephant’s tail passed through the hole. Then, I saw an elephant-sized big needle.” The teacher laughed and said, “The form with ears is that of Ganesh. The needle was small enough to manage a thread through its hole and the elephant was large enough.” The person said, “That’s the thing. We need not use our heads. God is limitless. As you say that God is beyond science, then why should we question it? When I will see God, I shall ask him the reason for playing mischief and creating this world for the sake of frolic.” The teacher laughed and said, “take the questions of others as well.”
A young girl said, “During the course of the story, I didn’t use the brain and felt that nothing was unusual in God’s actions. But, during the course of the discussion, I started visualizing the steps and wondered how God did it. (laughed)” The teacher laughed as well and said, “Hence, it is said to maintain good company.” The girl continued, “As you told me about Ganesh Ji, I remembered the simplicity of Ganesh, with an enormous physical form with simplicity.” The teacher said, “Yes! Simplicity! There were no powers in elephants to gain a tiny form to cross the hole.”
A person said, “I have listened to this story before, but with a slight turn. In that, a person was sitting under a tree and Narad Ji told him similarly that Narayan was inserting an elephant through a needle’s hole. The person said, “If a big tree can emerge from a small seed, then why can’t God insert an elephant through the needle? Narad Ji was surprised to see the firm faith and hence the person realized the self at that moment. The faith is so huge, that we need to grab it firmly.” The teacher said, “Then, grab it. Don’t leave it.”
A mother said, “From the instance, I understood that whether an elephant-sized problem may come in life or we may have no hole for rescue, but if we have faith, things happen smoothly.” The teacher appreciated the notion.”
A lady said, “As you say ‘Kunfayakun‘….. The stronger the faith stands… As something absurd happens in life, our faith dwindles. But, if hold it steady,….. Once we take a step and ask for forgiveness, then elephant-sized problems move away. Some absurd incidents happen frequently in some people’s life. We need to be patient and have faith.” The teacher said, “That’s it! People say, ‘Why me?’ You don’t know that more terrible things are happening to others, that you can’t see. You are selfish and hence you see your benefits.”
A mother said, “Nothing is impossible. As you said this, I realized that I used to label my daughter that she can’t do something. But, now I feel that I should not do that but rather encourage her to do her duties. And as someone visualized what God had done, I felt that a big baby emerges out of a tiny hole.” The teacher said, “This example is also great. Even, through faith wrapped in logic, you find that God’s deeds are limitless.”
A lady said, “If we can see the huge world with our tiny eyes, then why can’t God make an elephant pass a needle’s hole?” The teacher said, “See! Such beautiful ideas are emerging!” The lady continued, “Through this session, my family members are understanding the gist of life. Before the session, my mother-in-law was against my action of joining this session, but now she listens to the Bhagwat and feels blissful. Even, my husband comes to terms with me easily. Surrendering has transformed my life.”
A young lady said, “When you were narrating the story, I was visualizing Narayan sitting on the Sheshnaag, with a needle in one hand and an elephant in the other hand! (laughed) Then, I thought about the reason why I keep on thinking about things, which are under God’s control.” The teacher said, “It’s God’s play. Let Him play. Tell Him that you will also play with Him joyfully. Let Him play and you be blissful. Be in the present moment and the play shall proceed. Everything becomes impossible when you are in the past or future, as you are dead. There are no possibilities in the past and future.” The lady said, “When I think, I become stressed, but when I don’t think, I become blissful.” The teacher said, “O dear! How do you do it? please teach me.” The lady said, “You make us surrender again and again, as we listen to you repeatedly.” The teacher said, “Yes! I also listen to myself and stop for a while, to seek bliss.”
Another young lady said, “Yes! I agree with her words. We try not to think, but then I remember you….. As a mother knows everything about her child… And, secondly, whenever I feel angry, I go in front of a mirror and visualize that my reflection is my enemy. Then, I express everything and when the real person comes, the emotions don’t burst out. Listening about the elephant and the needle, I felt that may I be stupid in my actions, but God does everything for me.” The teacher said, “Yes! Let Him do and things progress smoothly.”
A mother said, “We should have complete faith and have to surrender. (Took a pause) If an elephant can pass through a tiny hole, then our huge problems shall also perish.” The teacher said, “The problems have no shape and size; they are nothing. They shall perish easily.” The mother said, “But, the mind thinks that they are big and gross.” The teacher said, “Tell the mind that the problems are not big, but the God.”
Another mother said, “We need not think, but let them go. When I think a lot, I start chanting. It helps me a lot.”
Someone said, “I was left thinking about how an elephant passed through a tiny hole. I thought that it was merely a mind’s play.” The teacher said, “As you can see the entire world with your tiny eyes, an elephant passes through the needle’s hole. After the feedback, what did you think?” The person said, “I’m blank.” The teacher said, “Good! Then, be blank.”
A person said, “Simplicity is the best way to realize God.” The teacher asked, “Why realize God? The world is filled with colorful pomp and show.” The person said, “The true blissful lies in realization.” The teacher asked again, “Then, why do you do the external stuff?” The person said, “We are trying to get rid of it, but…” The teacher said, “Look at yourselves now. But, at any party, you look as if you drank blood before coming for an occasion… continue now.” The person said, “We should let God do everything.” The teacher said, “God makes us do make-up, then why should we worry?” The person smiled. The teacher said, “No! While doing makeup, there is selfishness, in seeking status. An elephant can pass through the needle’s hole, once you become selfless. No worries! I can’t leave money. I take a vow that I will not do make-up on the day of Ekadashi. Then, take another vow that I won’t do make-up on Saturday and Sunday. Oh, dear! We have to go to parties.. without make-up! At least don’t do it this weekend. You may say that your friends poke you, for not doing the make-up and no one asks me to do it. Then, you are in bad company. No one asks me to do it, that’s true. Don’t be offended. It’s not for you only, but for everyone.” The person said, “Yes! You are right. Until we leave our core desires, how shall we progress?” The teacher said, “Now, let’s see the heights of our passions. In the morning, someone sang a hymn in the glories of Mother Kali. In the hymn, we decorated Mother with the best jewels and saree. You do all this, as you consider her an idol. Do you decorate your mother with heavy jewelry every morning? She will beat you. You decorate the Mother’s form, as you have some hidden desires. For initial steps, it’s good to adorn Her, but after feeling the immense love, will you apply the gulal every day? Once you feel the love, you will see the live form, then in the form of light energy. Why are you not seeing the energy? This is the reason. You are stuck. Just move on. We think that Mother sits in a mandir only. She resides in your heart (Mann). You are carrying the mandir in your heart. You are bigger than the mandir.“
A boy said, “I learned that if we have faith, God can do the impossible.” The teacher said, “What kind of ‘impossible?’ The things that God wants to do through you,… such impossible things shall happen.”
A person said, “When we listen that Hanuman Ji engulfed the sun, we remain spellbound. But, it is the fact.” The teacher said, “Yes! You believed the notion of Hanuman Ji as Tulsidas Ji quoted it in Hanuman Chalisa. Even in Quran Sharif, such an act is quoted. In the battle of Mahabharat, Krishna asked the sun not to set, till the next command. And, the sun didn’t leave the horizon. But, tell me, how will you learn or earn, if you won’t use your brain?” The person said, “God gives us the intellect to make us learn or earn. We think that we have to fill our stomachs…” The teacher said, “You gave a beautiful point. Filling your stomach is not your job. God has given sufficient food for survival to all his creations. Except for humans, no creature fills their treasuries for the future. Our greed makes us suffer. You may say that a part of the population is starving. This is because of other people who grabbed resources from them. Then comes the topic of karma. Because of their karma, they are suffering. God is with them. As a doctor, I know that rate of deaths globally is more due to over-eating than starving. God makes his creatures sleep full but wakes them hungry. Just have faith. Work and run the family. But, the bigger task is to have faith. You may believe it or not but you are neither the body nor the mind. ‘My stomach is aching;’ this means that you are not the body. ‘My mind is not feeling like doing something;’ then you are not the mind. Then, you are the soul. The soul does not need food or water to survive. We have a mechanism by which we are doctors or engineers. Using the mechanism, we have to realize the Self. You are not born to learn and earn or to run your family, but to know the Self. Write LOGIC on a piece of paper, then cut it and write in bold letters FAITH and you shall win.”
एक दिन नारद जी पृथ्वी पर भ्रमण के लिए आए तो देखा कि एक पेड़ के नीचे लोगों का एक झुंड बैठा है। उनमें से एक ने नारद जी को देखा और प्रणाम किया। नारायण के प्रेम में खोए नारद जी ने कहा, “नारायण-नारायण।” लोगों ने उनसे पूछा, “हे ब्रह्मऋषि! जब आप सात लोकों में घूमते हैं, तो आप पृथ्वी पर आने से पहले कहाँ से आए थे?” नारद जी ने कहा, “मैं नारायण के धाम से आया हूँ।” लोगों ने पूछा, “जब तुम वहाँ थे तब वह क्या कर रहे थे?”
नारद जी ने कहा, “अरे! नारायण तो हाथी और सूई का काम कर रहे थे।” लोगों ने पूछा, “वह उनके साथ क्या कर रहे थे?” नारद जी ने कहा, “वह सूई के छेद से हाथी को घुसा रहे थे।” जिस व्यक्ति ने नारद जी से पूछा वह बहुत ही सरल था और उसे लगा, “नारायण कुछ भी कर सकते हैं।” लेकिन, दूसरे लोग जिनके बड़े सिर थे, उन्होंने खुद को लियो टॉल्स्टॉय समझकर कहा, “यह कैसे संभव है? यह संभव नहीं है।” नारद जी ने कहा, “अच्छा! मैंने तुमसे सच-सच कहा था। अब तुम मानो या न मानो।” जिस व्यक्ति को संदेह नहीं था, उसने वास्तव में देखा कि नारायण ने सुई के छोटे से छेद से एक हाथी को पार किया और शाश्वत सत्य को महसूस किया, इस प्रकार स्वयं के साथ एक हो गया।
शिक्षा: जो लोग अपने दिमाग का उपयोग करते हैं वे अपने विचारों में लिप्त रहते हैं और सरल व्यक्ति महान ऊंचाइयों तक पहुंचता है।
एक लड़के ने कहा, “हमें ईश्वर में विश्वास रखना चाहिए। उसके लिए कुछ भी असंभव नहीं है।” टीचर ने कहा, “अच्छा! आपको दृढ़ विश्वास है। है ना?” लड़के ने कहा, “हम्म!” टीचर ने कहा, “हम्म! विश्वास रखो और डरो मत।” उनके भाई ने कहा, “मैंने सीखा है कि अगर हमारे पास विश्वास है, तो सब कुछ आसानी से हो जाएगा।” टीचर ने कहा, “ठीक है, फिर हम किस बात का विश्वास रखें? खिलौनों के लिए या परीक्षा में अंक अर्जित करने के लिए?” लड़के ने कहा, “भगवान की इच्छा को पूरा करने के लिए हमें विश्वास होना चाहिए।” टीचर ने कहा, “विश्वास के बावजूद, हम भगवान की इच्छा के तहत कार्य करने के लिए मजबूर हैं।” लड़के ने कहा, “यदि हमें विश्वास होगा, तो हमारे सभी कार्य सुचारू रूप से होंगे।” टीचर ने कहा, “हमारा कोई कार्य नहीं है। कोई कार्य अच्छा या बुरा नहीं है। सब कुछ भगवान का है। एक बार हमें विश्वास हो जाए, तो हम आनंदित रहेंगे, चाहे परिस्थितियां कैसी भी हों।” उनकी माँ ने कहा, “भगवान हमारे भीतर रहते हैं। मुझे विश्वास है कि मुझे भगवान के दर्शन होंगे।” टीचर ने कहा, “अच्छा, विश्वास रखो।”
एक लड़की ने कहा, “मैंने सीखा कि भगवान जो भी करते हैं, अच्छे के लिए करते हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “सुई के छेद से हाथी को घुसाने में भला क्या अच्छा है?” लड़की ने कहा, “उन्होंने हमें यह दिखाने के लिए ऐसा किया कि परमेश्वर के लिए कुछ भी असंभव नहीं है।”
किसी ने कहा है, “हमें वास्तव में सरल होना चाहिए।” टीचर ने कहा, “इसका मतलब है कि हमें मलिन मन को फेंक देना चाहिए और आनंदित होना चाहिए। मलिन मन सभी दुखों की जड़ है। सभी समस्याओं से छुटकारा पाने का एक तरीका है। मस्तिष्क को ईश्वर को दे दो और मुक्त हो जाओ।”
एक महिला ने कहा, “हमें अपने तर्क का इस्तेमाल नहीं करना चाहिए।” टीचर ने कहा, “लोग तर्क पूछते हैं। और, यहाँ हम ‘बुद्धिहीन’ के गुणों का अनुसरण कर रहे हैं।” यह क्या है?” महिला ने कहा, “हमें तर्क का उपयोग करने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।” टीचर मुस्कुरायीं और बोलीं, “फिर, यदि आप तर्क का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहते हैं, तो इसका उपयोग न करें। कोशिश करें कि कुछ दिनों के लिए अपने तर्क का उपयोग न करें, और आप अंतर देखेंगे।”
किसी ने कहा, “एक हाथी एक छेद से गुजरा, फिर सब कुछ संभव है।” टीचर ने सिर हिलाया।
एक अन्य महिला ने कहा, “मैंने इस कहानी से बहुत सी बातें सीखी हैं। पहली शिक्षा यह है कि भगवान अड़बंगा कार्य करना पसंद करते हैं। (हंसते हुए) दूसरी शिक्षा यह थी कि जैसे-जैसे हम बड़े होते हैं, हम अपने सीमित दायरे में स्थिर हो जाते हैं और एक सीमित विस्तार में सोचते हैं।” टीचर ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा, “यदि निस्वार्थता है, तो सब कुछ संभव है। जब हम सत्र शुरू करते हैं, तो हम यह कहते हुए शुरू करते हैं कि ‘मैं अकेला नहीं हूँ। ईश्वर मेरे साथ है। इस दुनिया में ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं है जो वह और मैं नहीं कर सकते।’ स्वार्थ हो तो सूई के छेद में सूत भी नहीं घुस सकता।”
किसी ने कहा, “यह विश्वास और समर्पण की कहानी थी। अक्सर आप कहती हैं कि हाथी आएगा और छेद से गुजर जाएगा, लेकिन अक्सर हाथी नहीं निकल पाता। फिर आप इसे भी साबित करने की कोशिश करती हैं। यही खेल है विश्वास का। यह वह परीक्षा है जो परमेश्वर हमारे लिए प्रस्तुत करता है। टीचर ने कहा, “भगवान परीक्षा नहीं लेता है। यह हमारे कर्म हैं जो हमें पीड़ित करते हैं।” उस व्यक्ति ने आगे कहा, “एक बार जब हमें विश्वास हो जाता है, तो मन द्वारा उत्पन्न कोई भी संदेह हमें प्रभावित नहीं करता है।” टीचर ने कहा, “मैं आपको एक साधारण बात बताती हूं। मेरे पास असामान्य विचार आते हैं। मुझे लगा कि हम एक बड़ा जंगल बनाएंगे। मैं लोगों को कहती हूं और वे मानते हैं कि हमारे पास एक बड़ा जंगल होगा, बिना जमीन या पैसे के। लेकिन, हमें एक बड़ा जंगल जरूर मिलता है। अगर मकसद निस्वार्थ है, तो चीजें अपने आप हो जाती हैं। लोग सुई से गुजरते हाथी को दिखाने के लिए कह सकते हैं …. नहीं दिखाएंगे। शब्दों पर विश्वास रखें वरना भाड़ में जाओ।”
एक लड़के ने कहा, “विश्वास हो तो सूई से हाथी निकल सकता है। आपने सूई से हाथी को निकालने की आवश्यकता के बारे में पूछा। यह हमें सबक सिखाने के लिए आवश्यक था और दूसरा, इसने व्यक्ति को आत्मज्ञान प्राप्त करने में मदद की।” टीचर ने कहा, “यह बहुत अच्छा है, बेटा! एक और बात यह है कि कुछ भी असंभव नहीं है। यदि हम उसके कौशल पर संदेह करते हैं, तो हम पीड़ित होते हैं। यदि ईश्वर मेरे जैसे मूर्ख लोगों को बना सकता है, तो क्या वह असंभव नहीं कर सकता?” एक माँ ने कहा, “बिल्कुल सच है। जैसे आपने हम जैसे लोगों को मनुष्य बना दिया, तो वह सर्वशक्तिमान है।” टीचर ने कहा, “अच्छा! मैं इसे अपने लिए कह रही थी। जो कुछ समझ में आया, अच्छा है। लेकिन, याद रखें कि अंक अर्जित करने या शादी करने की आपकी स्वार्थी इच्छा को मंजूर नहीं किया जाएगा। यह निस्वार्थता की बात है।”
एक युवक ने कहा, “हमें अपने दिमाग का इस्तेमाल नहीं करना चाहिए।” टीचर ने कहा, “तुम इसे रोज बताते हो, फिर भी इसका उपयोग नहीं करते हो।” उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “मैं इसके बारे में जानता हूं, लेकिन मैं इस पर काम कर रहा हूं और इसे धीरे-धीरे कम होता देख रहा हूं। मैं निश्चित ही शरणागत रहूँगा।” टीचर ने कहा, “हे पुत्र! मैं जानती हूँ कि गुरूजी अवश्य ही तुम्हें शरणागत बना देंगे।”

एक व्यक्ति ने कहा, “मैंने यह कहानी पहले भी सुनी है, लेकिन थोड़ी सी घुमाव के साथ। उसमें एक व्यक्ति एक पेड़ के नीचे बैठा था और नारद जी ने उसे इसी तरह बताया कि नारायण सुई के छेद से हाथी को अंदर डाल रहा है। व्यक्ति ने कहा, “यदि एक छोटे से बीज से एक बड़ा पेड़ निकल सकता है, तो भगवान सुई के माध्यम से एक हाथी को क्यों नहीं घुसा सकते? दृढ़ विश्वास को देखकर नारद जी को आश्चर्य हुआ और इसलिए उस व्यक्ति को उसी क्षण स्वयं का बोध हो गया। आस्था इतनी विशाल है कि हमें इसे मजबूती से पकड़ना होगा।” टीचर ने कहा, “तो इसे पकड़ लो। इसे मत छोड़ो।”
एक माँ ने कहा, “उदाहरण से मुझे समझ में आया कि जीवन में चाहे हाथी जैसी समस्या आ जाए या हमारे पास बचाव के लिए कोई छेद न हो, लेकिन अगर हममें विश्वास है, तो चीजें आसानी से हो जाती हैं।” टीचर ने धारणा की सराहना की।”

एक माँ ने कहा, “असंभव कुछ भी नहीं है। आपके यह कहते ही मुझे एहसास हुआ कि मैं अपनी बेटी पर लेबल लगाती थी कि वह कुछ नहीं कर सकती। लेकिन, अब मुझे लगता है कि मुझे ऐसा नहीं करना चाहिए लेकिन बल्कि उसे अपने कर्तव्यों को करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करना चाहिए। और जैसा कि किसी ने कल्पना की कि भगवान ने क्या किया है, मुझे लगा कि एक छोटे से छेद से एक बड़ा बच्चा निकलता है।” टीचर ने कहा, “यह उदाहरण भी महान है। यहाँ तक कि, तर्क में लिपटे हुए विश्वास के द्वारा, आप पाते हैं कि परमेश्वर के कार्य असीम हैं।”
एक महिला ने कहा, “यदि हम अपनी छोटी आँखों से विशाल संसार को देख सकते हैं, तो भगवान सुई के छेद से हाथी को क्यों नहीं निकाल सकते?” टीचर ने कहा, “देखो! कितने सुंदर विचार आ रहे हैं!” महिला ने आगे कहा, “इस सत्र के माध्यम से, मेरे परिवार के सदस्य जीवन के सार को समझ रहे हैं। सत्र से पहले, मेरी सास इस सत्र में शामिल होने की मेरे के खिलाफ थीं, लेकिन अब वह भागवत को सुनती हैं और आनंदित महसूस करती हैं। मेरे पति मुझसे आसानी से समझौता कर लेते हैं। समर्पण ने मेरे जीवन को बदल दिया है।”
एक युवती ने कहा, “जब आप कहानी सुना रहे थे, तो मैं नारायण को शेषनाग पर बैठा हुआ देख रही थी, एक हाथ में सुई और दूसरे हाथ में हाथी! (हँसते हुए) फिर, मैंने सोचा कि मैं क्यों सोचती हूँ?” उन बातों के बारे में सोचना जो परमेश्वर के वश में हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “यह भगवान का खेल है। उसे खेलने दो। उससे कहो कि तुम भी उसके साथ खुशी से खेलोगे। उसे खेलने दो और तुम आनंदित हो जाओ। वर्तमान क्षण में रहो और नाटक आगे बढ़ेगा। जब तुम भूत और भविष्य में हो तो सब कुछ असंभव हो जाता है। अतीत या भविष्य, जैसा कि आप मर चुके हैं। अतीत और भविष्य में कोई संभावना नहीं है।” उस महिला ने कहा, “जब मैं सोचती हूं, तो मैं तनावग्रस्त हो जाती हूं, लेकिन जब मैं नहीं सोचती, तो मैं आनंदित हो जाती हूं।” टीचर ने कहा, “हे प्रिय! आप इसे कैसे करते हैं? कृपया मुझे सिखाएं।” महिला ने कहा, “आप हमें बार-बार आत्मसमर्पण करवाते हैं, क्योंकि हम आपको बार-बार सुनते हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “हाँ! मैं भी अपनी सुनती हूँ और थोड़ी देर के लिए रुक जाती हूँ, आनंद लेने के लिए।”

एक माँ ने कहा, “हमें पूर्ण विश्वास होना चाहिए और समर्पण करना चाहिए। (विराम लिया) यदि एक हाथी एक छोटे से छेद से गुजर सकता है, तो हमारी बड़ी समस्याएं भी नष्ट हो जाएंगी।” टीचर ने कहा, “समस्याओं का कोई आकार और प्रकार नहीं है, वे कुछ भी नहीं हैं। वे आसानी से नष्ट हो जाएंगी।” माँ ने कहा, “लेकिन, मन सोचता है कि वे बड़े और स्थूल हैं।” टीचर ने कहा, “मन को बताओ कि समस्याएं बड़ी नहीं हैं, बल्कि भगवान हैं।”
एक अन्य माता ने कहा, “हमें सोचने की जरूरत नहीं है, लेकिन उन्हें जाने दो। जब मैं बहुत सोचती हूं, तो मैं जप शुरू करती हूं। इससे मुझे बहुत मदद मिलती है।”

एक लड़के ने कहा, “मैंने सीखा है कि अगर हमारे पास विश्वास है, तो परमेश्वर असंभव को संभव कर सकता है।” टीचर ने कहा, “किस तरह का ‘असंभव?’ जो काम परमेश्वर तुम्हारे द्वारा करना चाहता है… ऐसी असम्भव बातें घटेंगी।”
एक व्यक्ति ने कहा, “जब हम सुनते हैं कि हनुमान जी ने सूर्य को ग्रहण कर लिया, तो हम मंत्रमुग्ध रह जाते हैं। लेकिन, यह सच्चाई है।” टीचर ने कहा, “हाँ! आप हनुमान जी की धारणा को मानते थे क्योंकि तुलसीदास जी ने इसे हनुमान चालीसा में उद्धृत किया था। यहाँ तक कि कुरान शरीफ में भी ऐसा ही एक कृत्य उद्धृत किया गया है। महाभारत के युद्ध में, कृष्ण ने अगले आदेश तक सूर्य को अस्त नहीं होने के लिए कहा था। और, सूरज ने क्षितिज नहीं छोड़ा। लेकिन, मुझे बताओ, तुम कैसे सीखोगे या कमाओगे, अगर तुम अपने दिमाग का उपयोग नहीं करोगे?” उस व्यक्ति ने कहा, “भगवान हमें बुद्धि देते हैं कि हम सीखें या कमाएँ। हमें लगता है कि हमें अपना पेट भरना है …” टीचर ने कहा, “आपने एक सुंदर बिंदु दिया। अपना पेट भरना आपका काम नहीं है। भगवान ने अपनी सभी रचनाओं को जीवित रहने के लिए पर्याप्त भोजन दिया है। मनुष्यों को छोड़कर कोई भी प्राणी भविष्य के लिए अपना खजाना नहीं भरता है। हमारा लालच हमें कष्ट देता है। आप कह सकते हैं कि आबादी का एक हिस्सा भूखा मर रहा है। यह अन्य लोगों के कारण है जिन्होंने उनसे संसाधन हड़प लिये। फिर कर्म का विषय आता है। उनके कर्म के कारण, वे पीड़ित हैं। भगवान उनके साथ हैं। एक डॉक्टर के रूप में, मैं जानती हूं कि विश्व स्तर पर मौतों की दर भूखे मरने की तुलना में अधिक खाने के कारण अधिक है। भगवन भूखा उठाता है, भूखा सुलाता नहीं है। बस विश्वास रखो। काम करो और परिवार चलाओ। लेकिन, सबसे बड़ा काम है विश्वास रखना। आप मानें या न मानें लेकिन आप न तो शरीर हैं और न ही मन। ‘मेरा पेट दर्द कर रहा है;’ इसका मतलब है कि आप शरीर नहीं हैं।’मेरा कुछ करने का मन नहीं कर रहा है;’ तब आप मन नहीं हैं। फिर, आप आत्मा हैं। आत्मा को जीवित रहने के लिए भोजन या पानी की आवश्यकता नहीं है। हमारे पास एक तंत्र है जिसके द्वारा हम डॉक्टर या इंजीनियर हैं। तंत्र का उपयोग करके हमें स्वयं को महसूस करना है। आप सीखने और कमाने या अपने परिवार को चलाने के लिए पैदा नहीं हुए हैं, बल्कि स्वयं को जानने के लिए पैदा हुए हैं। एक कागज के टुकड़े पर लॉजिक लिखें, फिर उसे काटें और मोटे अक्षरों में फेथ लिखें और आपकी जीत होगी।”
