Gautam Buddha was sitting at his vihar. His students used to go out in the village and ask for Bhiksha. They all returned to Buddha and said, “We do not want to go and beg in this village. Can we go somewhere else?”
Buddha asked, “Why? What happened?” They answered, “The people do not give us food and misbehave with us.”
Buddha asked, “Do you feel bad when they misbehave?” They said, “Yes.” Buddha asked, “Do you get angry?” They said, “Yes.”
Buddha again asked, “If we go somewhere else and the people there give you food and water and offer flowers at your feet, will that make you happy?” They answered, “Of course we will be happy.”
Buddha said, “You have given the key to your peace to someone else. You should keep your remote control to yourself. If you give your remote control to others, they will start controlling you.”
In Sat Yug, demons and devs used to be different people, and they used to live in different Lokas. In Treta Yug, Dev (Ram) and Demons (Ravan) used to live on the same planet. In Dwapar Yug, they started to live with the same family as Kans and Shri Krishna. In Kalyug, Dev and Demon live within the same person. Inside you, Ram and Ravan are both living. Now it is up to you which one you wish to manifest. Ravan has ten heads, and the more you cut the head, the more it returns. You have to keep on surrendering to Lord Ram.
आंतरिक शांति की कुंजी पर बुद्ध की राय
गौतम बुद्ध अपने विहार में बैठे थे। उनके शिष्य गांव में जाकर भिक्षा मांगते थे। वे सभी बुद्ध के पास लौट आए और बोले, “हम इस गाँव में जाकर भीख नहीं माँगना चाहते। क्या हम कहीं और जा सकते हैं?”
बुद्ध ने पूछा, “क्यों? क्या हुआ?” उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, “लोग हमें भोजन नहीं देते और हमारे साथ दुर्व्यवहार करते हैं।
बुद्ध ने पूछा, “क्या आपको बुरा लगता है जब वे दुर्व्यवहार करते हैं?” उन्होंने कहा, “हाँ। बुद्ध ने पूछा, क्या तुम्हें क्रोध आता है? उन्होंने कहा, “हाँ।
बुद्ध ने फिर पूछा, ‘अगर हम कहीं और जाएं और वहां के लोग तुम्हें भोजन और पानी दें और तुम्हारे चरणों में फूल चढ़ाएं तो क्या वह तुम्हें प्रसन्न करेगा? उन्होंने उत्तर दिया, “निश्चित रूप से हम खुश होंगे।
बुद्ध ने कहा, ‘तुमने अपनी शांति की कुंजी किसी और को दे दी है। आपको अपना रिमोट कंट्रोल अपने तक ही रखना चाहिए। अगर आप अपना रिमोट कंट्रोल दूसरों को दे देंगे तो वे आपको नियंत्रित करना शुरू कर देंगे।
सतयुग में, राक्षस और देव अलग-अलग लोग हुआ करते थे, और वे अलग-अलग लोकों में रहते थे। त्रेता युग में देव (राम) और राक्षस (रावण) एक ही ग्रह पर रहते थे। द्वापर युग में वे कंस और श्रीकृष्ण के समान परिवार में रहने लगे। कलयुग में, देव और दानव एक ही व्यक्ति के भीतर रहते हैं। तुम्हारे भीतर राम और रावण दोनों जीवित हैं। अब यह आप पर निर्भर है कि आप किसे प्रकट करना चाहते हैं। रावण के दस सिर हैं, जितना सिर काटते हो उतना लौटता है। आपको भगवान राम के सामने समर्पण करते रहना होगा।
