Death- Important Truths

When a person dies, he can merge with the Oneness or move ahead for the next birth, continuing the cycle of birth and death. If one dies with unfulfilled desires, the mind doesn’t die. Only the body dies, and the mind has to suffer. The soul bound to the mind has to take several births or reach heaven or hell according to the actions. One finds hell if it has to suffer punishment for the deeds. One finds heaven of it has done good actions, but it never stays in heaven forever. After the fruits sufficient to fulfill the deeds are suffered, the person is bound to take other births.

It is said, “nikal ja akal ke aage“. The intellect bestows doom innocence bestows blessings. Jise koi iksha nahi vahi hai shahon ka shah sahanshah, the desireless one is the true king. Even a king with many desires is a beggar. But, a Fakir enjoys the bliss in the least materialistic resources. The mind should die before death.

It is not easy to overcome desires. Desires grow exponentially from greed for a cycle to that for a space shuttle. There should be a boundary between need and greed. There is more than sufficient to quench our need but not enough to quench our greed. To know this demarcation, we must surrender.

The scriptures ask us to perform rituals in Brahma Muhurta and Godhuli Bela. But, our mind is always fixed on materialism. We merely perform the rituals like robots and ponder over worldly thoughts. We go to the holy places with a never-ending list of wishes. The Almighty loves us seventy times a mother’s love. He grants all our wishes, but we are forced to suffer the consequences. Let us see an example.

Once there lived a couple and didn’t have a child for long. They were obsessed with a child and finally found a child through medical procedures. Though they didn’t have any debts with anyone, their stubbornness made them pay heavily. The child grew up with sumptuous resources but with the least virtues. Finally, the child turned into a drunkard and sold everything for lavishness. The parents lost their lives.

We should be satisfied with the resources we have. Lord has given us the appropriate amount for quenching our needs. We can ask for anything from the Almighty. Can’t we ask for the Lord from the Lord? We should give our mind to the Lord rather than asking for rubbish wishes. Once we give our mind to the Almighty, He will give himself to us.

Yoga doesn’t mean physical exercises. It means union with the Divine self. It is important to maintain good physical health thus, physical exercises are important. But it is the biggest myth to consider physical asanas as Yoga.

Awwal Allah Noor Upaya Kudarath Ke Sab Bandhe,
Ek Noor Se Sab Jag Ubje Kaun Bhale Kaun Mandhe.
