Deepotsava, Deepawali, or Diwali… celebrating the light. Diya means to give, and Wali signifies energy. Ali wali Sher-e-Khuda is the energy. The ‘so-called’ religious experts may call the festival Deepotsava but the light is the same, irrespective of religion or sect. Shubh means happy, peaceful, or serene. Yesterday, we observed Narak Chaudas, when Sri Krishna killed Narakaasura, a demon. This also indicates joy for celebration. Light prevails in the heart, by victory over evil. Rama arrived in our hearts today. Mahavir Swami attained enlightenment. Five hundred years ago, Sikhs saw the Bandhi Chhod Diwas. Tomorrow is a solar eclipse. Such an eclipse is arriving after 1400 years. Whenever such changes happen in the universe, it is to make us realize that we are neither the body nor the mind. The sun is always there, and the overlapping of the sun with other celestial bodies is an illusion.

“Shubham Karoti Kalyanam, Arogyam Dhan Sampadaa.
Shatrubuddhi vinaashaay, Deepjyoti Namastute..”
Shubham Karoti Kalyanam- Today, we can feel the energy of purity.
Arogyam Dhan Sampadaa- God has rendered the healthy physical form for realizing the self.

Feedback began,
Someone asked, “We celebrate Diwali for celebrating Rama Ji’s arrival from Lanka, then why do we do Lakshmi Pooja?” The teacher said, “Well, it is a good question. Without Shakti, Rama couldn’t do anything.” The person asked again, “Then we should pray to Sita.” The teacher said, “Sita is the Narayani, the Lakshmi. If we pray to Mother Sita, we will become detached from everything. It is important to retain Rajoguna for celebrations. In Satoguna, only bliss remains. Mother Lakshmi has an owl as her vehicle. One day, the owl felt jealous as all respected Mother, but not her vehicle. Mother said that all would respect him on the day of Karva Chauth when wives keep fast for their husbands.” (The congregation laughed.)
Someone gave good feedback. The teacher explained it further, saying, “The light within the heart burns all the negativities, and no waste remains. Diya-Diya, forgive yourself and become fresh. Is Rama big or your sin?”
A mother said, “We perform Hanuman Pooja in the morning on Diwali.” The teacher asked the reason and then answered as well, “Without losing the ego (Maan Ka Hanan), Lakshmi Ji cannot come. Ganesh Ji, the Pratham poojya, also occupies the throne in Lakshmi Pooja, as his form teaches us to give.”
Another mother said, “When we give, we should not search for self-happiness.” The teacher said, “Yes! Thus, it’s said, ‘Sab Jag Siya Ramamay Janu.'” The teacher explained the name ‘Bulbul’, “Our life is like a bubble, which can burst anytime.”
A boy said, “I felt what had happened if the day of Diwali fell on the day of a solar eclipse. Every natural change takes us closer to nature.” The teacher said, “Yes! Keep God in your heart and remain blissful.”
Seeing a cricket match’s result, people rejoiced in the session. The teacher explained, “God is in the team which lost the match. Would you enjoy it similarly if your country had lost the match? Today, you praise your country’s competent players, but would you appreciate them if the country lost the match? It is not good to have rivaled sportsman spirit.”
दीपावली–
दीपोत्सव, दीपावली, या दिवाली… प्रकाश का उत्सव मनाना। दीया का अर्थ है देना, और वली ऊर्जा का प्रतीक है। अली वली शेर-ए-खुदा ऊर्जा है। ‘तथाकथित’ धार्मिक विशेषज्ञ त्योहार को दीपोत्सव कह सकते हैं, लेकिन प्रकाश एक ही है, चाहे वह किसी भी धर्म या संप्रदाय का हो। शुभ का अर्थ है खुश, शांतिपूर्ण, या निर्मल। कल, हमने नरक चौदस मनाया, जब श्री कृष्ण ने नरकासुर नामक राक्षस का वध किया था। यह उत्सव के लिए खुशी का भी संकेत देता है। बुराई पर विजय पाने से हृदय में प्रकाश की विजय होती है। राम आज हमारे दिलों में आए। महावीर स्वामी को ज्ञान की प्राप्ति हुई। पांच सौ साल पहले, सिखों ने बंद छोड़ दिवस देखा था। कल सूर्य ग्रहण है। ऐसा ग्रहण चौदह सौ साल बाद आ रहा है। जब भी ब्रह्मांड में ऐसे परिवर्तन होते हैं, तो हमें यह एहसास दिलाना होता है कि हम न तो शरीर हैं और न ही मन। सूर्य हमेशा रहता है, और अन्य खगोलीय पिंडों के साथ सूर्य का अतिच्छादन एक भ्रम है।
यह कहा जाता है,
“शुभम करोति कल्याणम्, आरोग्यम् धन संपदा।
शत्रुबुद्धि विनाशाय, दीपज्योति नमस्तुते।।”
शुभम करोति कल्याणम्- आज हम पवित्रता की ऊर्जा को महसूस कर सकते हैं।
आरोग्यम् धन संपदा- स्वयं को साकार करने के लिए भगवान ने स्वस्थ भौतिक रूप प्रदान किया है।
शत्रुबुद्धि विनाशाय- शाश्वत प्रकाश विचारों को नष्ट कर देता है और हमें योगी बनाता है। बुद्धु से बुद्ध तक की यात्रा; आत्मसमर्पण करना महत्वपूर्ण है
दीपज्योति नमस्तुते- मुझे अपने हृदय के आन्तरिक प्रकाश के सम्मुख नतमस्तक होते हैं।
फीडबैक शुरू हुआ,
किसी ने पूछा, “राम जी के लंका से आने पर हम दिवाली मनाते हैं, फिर हम लक्ष्मी पूजा क्यों करते हैं?” टीचर ने कहा, “अच्छा, यह एक अच्छा सवाल है। शक्ति के बिना, राम कुछ नहीं कर सकते थे।” उस व्यक्ति ने फिर पूछा, “तो हमें सीता से प्रार्थना करनी चाहिए।” टीचर ने कहा, “सीता नारायणी, लक्ष्मी हैं। अगर हम माता सीता से प्रार्थना करते हैं, तो हम सब वैराग्यवान हो जाएंगे। उत्सव के लिए रजोगुण को बनाए रखना महत्वपूर्ण है। सतोगुण में, केवल आनंद ही रहता है। मां लक्ष्मी के वाहन रूप में एक उल्लू है। एक दिन, उल्लू को सभी सम्मानित न होने पर ईर्ष्या महसूस हुई। माँ ने कहा कि करवा चौथ के दिन सभी उनका सम्मान करेंगे जब पत्नियाँ अपने पति के लिए उपवास रखती हैं। ” (सभा हँसे।)
किसी ने अच्छा फीडबैक दिया। टीचर ने आगे समझाया, “दिल के भीतर की रोशनी सभी नकारात्मकताओं को जला देती है, और कोई अपशिष्ट नहीं रहता है। दीया-दीया, अपने आप को क्षमा करें और ताजा हो जाएं। राम बड़े हैं या आपका पाप?”
एक माँ ने कहा, “हम दीवाली पर सुबह हनुमान पूजा करते हैं।” टीचर ने कारण पूछा और फिर उत्तर भी दिया, “अहंकार नाश (मान का हनन) के बिना लक्ष्मी जी नहीं आ सकती हैं। गणेश जी, प्रथम पूज्य, लक्ष्मी पूजा में भी सिंहासन पर विराजमान हैं, क्योंकि उनका रूप हमें देना सिखाता है। “
एक और माँ ने कहा, “जब हम देते हैं, तो हमें आत्म-सुख की तलाश नहीं करनी चाहिए।” टीचर ने कहा, “हाँ! इस प्रकार, यह कहा जाता है, ‘सब जग सिया राममय जानू’।” टीचर ने ‘बुलबुल’ नाम समझाया, “हमारा जीवन एक बुलबुले की तरह है, जो कभी भी टूट सकता है।”

एक क्रिकेट मैच का परिणाम देखकर लोगों ने सत्र में खुशी मनाई। टीचर ने समझाया, “भगवान उस टीम में है जो मैच हार गई थी। हार का हार पहनी है वह टीम! क्या आप इसका आनंद लेते यदि आपका देश मैच हार गया होता? आज, आप अपने देश के सक्षम खिलाड़ियों की प्रशंसा करते हैं, लेकिन अगर देश मैच हार गया होता तो क्या आप उनकी सराहना करते? यह प्रतिस्पर्धी खिलाड़ी भावना का होना अच्छा नहीं है।”
