Dhumavati Maa is seen as a widow. It is said that Shiv Ji was engulfed by this form of Maa Adi Shakti. Later on, Shiv Ji, from within, said to set him free, and after coming out, Shiv Ji went into Samadhi. Then Dhumavati Maa took the form of a widower. Her mode of transportation is explained in the form of a chariot without any wheels and without a charioteer. At the top of her chariot, there is a crow’s picture. The way her form is described is that she looks like a skeleton wearing a white sari. On one hand, she is holding a bowl, and on the other hand, she is giving us the blessing.

It is said that if an ordinary person worships Dhumavati Maa, then their house gets destroyed and they have to face ill effects. In reality, Maa destroys all the negativity that is within us. धूमावती माता मां आदि शक्ति के रूपों में से एक हैं। धूमावती मां का स्वरूप धुएं से बना हुआ बताया गया है। उन्हें मां आदि शक्ति के नकारात्मक रूप के रूप में चित्रित किया गया है। आइए समझते हैं कि धूमावती मां वास्तव में क्या दर्शाती हैं।
धूमावती मां को विधवा के रूप में देखा जाता है। कहा जाता है कि मां आदि शक्ति के इस रूप में शिव जी समा गए थे। बाद में शिव जी ने भीतर से ही उन्हें मुक्त करने के लिए कहा और बाहर आकर शिव जी समाधि में चले गए। तब धूमावती मां ने विधुर का रूप धारण किया। उसके परिवहन के तरीके को बिना पहियों के और बिना सारथी के रथ के रूप में समझाया गया है। उनके रथ के शीर्ष पर एक कौए का चित्र है। जिस तरह से उनके रूप का वर्णन किया गया है, वह सफेद साड़ी पहने एक कंकाल की तरह दिखती है। वह एक हाथ में कटोरा लिए हुए हैं और दूसरी ओर हमें आशीर्वाद दे रही हैं।
