Once upon a time there was a great and intelligent king that ruled over most of Asia. He was a holy man and was a faithful devotee of God Shiva. On the day of Maha Shivarathri he realized he is a soul. On this sacred day he thought people could realize the souls its all are one not separate.
This caring King also had a guru called Ramachandra. The Guru always taught good things to the king before bedtime like a bedtime story. One day, the wise saint told the king “There is no point realizing god yearly once. It should be every day or at least 5 times a week.” The king announced the same. To realize the God we shall meditate for at least one minute. Many people groaned but knew it is good for themselves.
Like this every day the king and people use to meditate with Guru. Trust worthy king loved his Guru a lot and he loved Lord Shiva a lot.
One day the mischievous Narayana traveled to the earth to play a trick on the king. He asked the delighted king “Would you rather stay with your guru or Lord Shiva?”. The puzzled king thought about it and replied “I choose my guru because he will tells me about lord Shiva and if I go to lord Shiva I will miss my guru very much.” Narayana was extremely pleased with the king so he took the graceful king and the guru Ramachandra to heaven.
