Once there lived a person who was curious to know why he was born and what the reason for his birth was. He was thinking that there should be some reason for his existence, so he was trying to find the answer to the solution. He came to know that a saint knows the answer as to why we are born in this world, so he went to the saint and asked him as to why he was born in this world. The saint said,’ I am not going to say everything, as it is time for you to get entangled in the web that you are going to make in the world. The person asked the saint, Why?” Why can’t I get the answers? The saint said,’ Whatever I say, you won’t do everything. The person said, I will do it; please let me know the way.
The saint said, “O.K., just for two years, go to the jungle nearby, eat the natural food and fruits, and repeat God’s name. The person enthusiastically went with two pairs of clothes, a plate to eat from, and a glass to drink water. The first few weeks he was happy, but slowly happiness faded. He washed his dress in the river and dried it, but the mouse made a hole in the dress. Anxious, he thought he has to do something about the mouse, so he got the beautiful idea to buy a cat. Cat as a pet came, and the world of the web started; now the mouse went, but he has to feed the cat; the cat won’t eat fruits and vegetables; he needs milk for it. So, he went to the village nearby to beg for milk, and four days later he got milk, they said. We don’t have enough to feed our kids; why would we give you the milk for the cat?’
He thought, thought, and thought and got another idea to get a cow. Now that he had the milk, he had to feed the cow, so he took it to a nearby field and cleaned the cow dung and took care of it. His guru asked him to do it for two years, but he got into the web within two months. His mind was entangled in the world—first in cats, now in cows—and he thought he had no time to repeat God’s name. So, he thought he would marry her, give all the responsibility to her, and repeat God’s name.
He got married for two days, which was fine, but then the wife asked this and that, and he had to work hard. Then came the child, so he kept on working for them. The saint was so kind, he went to the place where he sent the man and asked the women,’ I sent a man a few years back to do sadhana. Have you seen him?’ She said I don’t know, and the man saw his guru and bowed down before him, and now the guru said, This is why I said it is not the right time, as you are about to entangle yourself in the worldly web which you created for yourself and got struck. Now you understand?
The person nodded and asked, What should I now do? Guruji, by bowing down on his feet, he said surrender, and then he did so. Guru said whatever happens, let it happen for the best. Do everything as it is your duty to look after the family, but in your mind, repeat his name, you are born in the world to realise why you are born in this world and do not get entangled in this worldly life. Out of millions and trillions, only one doesn’t entangle in this world, but if that one realises the truth, he can take many on that path. If that one can do that, wherever you are, whatever you are doing, still there is a chance. Remember God, repeat his name, and he is the doer and I am not the doer. I am born as a body, but in reality, I am that Sakthi energy because the mind and body are born together. Surrender the mind immediately to the divine soul within. One who is born dies; one who is not born never dies; he will be in the pure bliss of Athmanand. Guruji gave his blessing, showed him the right path, and left the place.

Someone said, “Whenever we feel angry, we should channel that energy towards good things.” Teacher said, “Yes, divert it towards God.” Teacher asked, “When you get angry at someone, do they get better?” Teacher said, “The relationship gets spoiled between you and that person. The person will be scared of you and make more mistakes. He will start lying to you. What is the use of getting angry?” He said, “I will practise this.”
A boy said, “In the story, it started with just clothes and ended with where he reached in the end.” Teacher said, “Yes, he could have just worn the torn clothes as he was in the jungle, and anyway, nobody was seeing him.” The boy said, “Our energy gets wasted in this.” Teacher said, “That energy you could use to become one with God and help others walk in this path. Just giving them money or helping them get a job will not help them get rid of their sorrows. It will happen when they know their soul. So, son, you study but do not get your mind attracted towards materialistic things.”
Someone said, “I’ve learned that I must follow Guru Ji’s instructions. I should not use my brain like the man in the story. Whatever our inner voice is telling us to do, we should do that. The man should have just repeated God’s name for years, as suggested by his guru. He would not have ended up in the wrong if we had followed only what his Guru told him to do. He took it as a task to become one with God, but it should be the aim of our lives.” Teacher said, “Very good.”
A girl said, “Keep on adding materialistic things to our lives to maintain our comfort zone. A time comes when we become unaware and keep adding things. A thing which started as a point grows in a line.” Teacher said, “Yes, that line becomes a web, and you get stuck in that web unknowingly.”
A lady said, “The man tried to find the solutions to all his problems by himself. If he had surrendered and asked God to take him out of it, then we would not have been stuck in that situation. So, I have learned not to find a solution by myself but to ask for help to come up with the solution.” Teacher said, “If you try to solve your problem by yourself, you will get stuck in all these worldly problems. If you ask God to take you out, you will not get stuck. God would have told men to not mind the clothes, feel the bliss, and enjoy.”
A girl said, “I thought that if that man would have listened to Guru Ji, he would not have gotten stuck.” Teacher said, “But people do not listen, na.” The girl said, “If he had not used his brain, he wouldn’t have been married and stuck in materialistic things. We should not use our brain.” Teacher said, “Yes, we should be surrendered. The solution comes before the problem, and the solution is God’s name. When you are surrendered, there are only solutions, no problems. Tell God you have put me in this situation; take me out of it.”

उसकी शादी को दो दिन हुए, जो ठीक था, लेकिन फिर पत्नी ने यह और वो पूछा, और उसे कड़ी मेहनत करनी पड़ी। फिर बच्चा आया, इसलिए वह उनके लिए काम करता रहा। संत इतने दयालु थे, वह उस स्थान पर गए जहां उन्होंने पुरुष को भेजा था और महिलाओं से पूछा, ‘मैंने कुछ साल पहले एक आदमी को साधना करने के लिए भेजा था। क्या तुमने उसे देखा है? उसने कहा कि मुझे नहीं पता, और उस आदमी ने अपने गुरु को देखा और उनके सामने झुक गया, और अब गुरु ने कहा, “यही कारण है कि मैंने कहा कि यह सही समय नहीं है, क्योंकि आप खुद को सांसारिक जाल में उलझाने वाले हैं जिसे आपने अपने लिए बनाया है और मारा गया है। अब आप समझते हैं?
उस व्यक्ति ने सिर हिलाया और पूछा, अब मुझे क्या करना चाहिए? गुरुजी ने अपने चरणों में प्रणाम करके समर्पण करने की बात कही, और फिर उन्होंने ऐसा ही किया। गुरु ने कहा कि जो कुछ भी होता है, उसे सर्वश्रेष्ठ के लिए होने दें। सब कुछ करो क्योंकि परिवार की देखभाल करना आपका कर्तव्य है, लेकिन अपने दिमाग में, उसका नाम दोहराएं, आप दुनिया में पैदा हुए हैं ताकि यह महसूस कर सकें कि आप इस दुनिया में क्यों पैदा हुए हैं और इस सांसारिक जीवन में नहीं उलझते हैं। लाखों और खरबों में से, केवल एक ही इस दुनिया में उलझता नहीं है, लेकिन अगर वह सच्चाई को महसूस करता है, तो वह कई लोगों को उस रास्ते पर ले जा सकता है। यदि कोई ऐसा कर सकता है, जहां भी आप हैं, जो कुछ भी आप कर रहे हैं, तब भी एक मौका है। ईश्वर को याद करो, उसका नाम दोहराओ, और वह कर्ता है और मैं कर्ता नहीं हूं। मैं एक शरीर के रूप में पैदा हुआ हूं, लेकिन वास्तव में, मैं वह शक्ति ऊर्जा हूं क्योंकि मन और शरीर एक साथ पैदा होते हैं। मन को तुरंत भीतर दिव्य आत्मा को समर्पित करें। जो पैदा होता है वह मर जाता है; जो पैदा नहीं होता, वह कभी नहीं मरता; वह अथमानंद के शुद्ध आनंद में होगा। गुरुजी ने अपना आशीर्वाद दिया, उन्हें सही रास्ता दिखाया, और वहां से चले गए।
