Important notes for exams of ‘Life’

Let us see a fictional story, which will explain the reality of this life and birth.

Let us assume that we are lying on our comfy bed, and curled in a cozy blanket. We see see a dream. The dream shall be of fifteen minutes. Nothing to worry….. . In this dream, we murder someone. After the act, we summon and surrender before the police, by our will. On the account of this grave sin, we are sentenced to twenty years of imprisonment. The prison cell and punishments become the life. We are often kept without food for weeks, beaten ruthlessly, slangs and tortures augment our ears, and as a result, hope of life diminishes. This goes on for four years, persistently. Bones appear to outline our visceras, and fatigue becomes intolerable. One day, one of the guards is deputed to beat us, incessantly for hours. He appears with a whip and lashes on our bodies, without a difference of even a second. We are left with a slightest thread between body and soul, after all these beatings. And, finally, he kicked us, with his feet and blood is expelled from our mouth, and we die. This kick makes us awake from our slumber, with a scream, which resonates in the room for several minutes. Heart appears to be sitting in the mouth. But, we thank Lord, and find ourselves lying over our bed.

Now, was this the reality?
No, it was merely a nightmare. after we were awake, we were no longer a sinner, and were free from all prosecutions. Now, let us see the homology of this fiction, with our life.

  • murder- our actions (to be understood as the murder in the dream denotes the actions we perform in our life)
  • summoned by will- guilt of the sins
  • imprisonment- fruits of actions, praarabdh karma (satchets of fruits to be suffered in life)
  • sudden death- to arrive to the reality, we are the Eternity ourselves
  • the remaining years of punishment- the sanchit karma cancelled, on the account of knowing the Truth
  • the sequence of events from murder till death in the dream- the so-called real life, in which we are reading this write-up
