Little anecdotes of Life

Anecdote 1- ANTIPODE- LOGIC V/S LOVE
1. Once there lived a man, who was renowned for his sense of analysis. His inferential power piqued his acquaintances. One day, he visited a temple, and saw the priest lighting an oil lamp, for prayers. He saw the sudden appearance of the flame, out of the wick, with just a stroke of a match. He questioned the priest, about the zone from which the flame arose. The priest realized that it was the time for a little test of life; interacting with a reasoning-pedia. He blew out the flame, and, on the contrary, questioned him for the name of the zone, where it went out. The man was left dumbfounded, and couldn’t find the appropriate answer to his query. He left, with his mind swirling in the tornado of doubts and arguments.
2. One day, showers and dense clouds had conquered the atmosphere. As it started drizzling, he went to a shop for getting a umbrella. He enquired about the price of the umbrella. It was of twenty rupees. He asked the shopkeeper, to lend him the product, for ten rupees. The retailer denied, and asked him to purchase it for eighteen rupees. The man demanded the product for nine rupees. The seller accorded a final wholesale price of sixteen rupees, and refused for a successive bargain. The man urged for further curtailing the cost, to eight rupees. The seller was a witty one, and started enjoying the serial deals of amazing prices. The seller dropped to fourteen, the man reclined over seven, twelve to six, ten to five, eight to four and, being exhausted, he asked the buyer to take the umbrella for free. Then, the great man asked for giving him two umbrellas, for free. He couldn’t achieve anything, except he could merely satisfy his illusionary ego, of convincing a retailer to fall to a price of zero.
MORAL- If we are not stable over a price of a tiny product in the material world, how can we stabilize over the Eternal Oneness? Renounce the variables, and stabilize over the Eternal Constant, viz. the Transcendental Love.

Anecdote 2- LOGIC KILLS THE SENSE
Once there was boy, belonging to a little hamlet of India. After lots of struggle and hard work by his family, the boy was admitted to a university in a city. The parents were happy, when he returned back after completing his graduation. His parents welcomed him with immense love, and embraced him in their arms. After getting freshened up for the supper, mother brought two pieces of sweets for his sweetheart, as he might be tired of all his tiresome trip, back home. The boy was excited to unveil the knowledge he had earned at the university. He forced his mother to wait for appreciating the feats of knowledge, he was about to present. Seeing the bowl of sweets with a goggled look, he proclaimed that there were three sweets in the bowl. The mother counted the sweets, with concentration, and found them to be two. But, he always repeated the statement that two added to one yielded three. Perplexed by such quotations, the mother counted the sweets many times, and found them to be two. His father was also listening to the conversation. His mother asked the son to eat the sweets, and wished to see him enjoy the taste of love of a mother. The son was adamant to prove the hypothesis. The son was as rigid as his father. His father announced that his mother was ignorant, and couldn’t see three sweets. He said that he could visualize the numbers. He gulped one sweet, gave the other one to the boy’s mother, and asked the son to eat the third one. Unnerved by such a reply, he went into his room, slept after taking some bland supper, without a bite of sweets.
MORAL- Spirituality is a science, which is beyond logic. The material mind can’t interpret the depth of the Eternal science. We can’t attain Knowledge without renouncing the analysis.
The basic spiritual chronicles are classified under “Vedanta“, means commencing the visualization of the Vivid Vacuum, entails the renunciation of any other complementary knowledge. “Veda” means knowledge. A renowned leader has said, “Spirituality begins where science ends; Nothingness encompasses everything”. Logic, means “I”, and “I” means staggered gait on the path to the Ultimate. Once this spark of “I” subsides, the vastness of the Infinite becomes palpable.

Anecdote 3- LOVE MAKES THE SUBLIME PALPABLE
Once a Guru was delivering a sermon, to his disciples. He said that the Eternity could be palpated, despite being formless. One of the disciples asked about the way through which it could be possible. Guru answered the question, giving an illustration. He said that water vapors were dispersed in the ether around, and as the temperature fell, they were condensed over the earth; the mist over the grass carpet was the best scene to be recollected. And, as the temperature dropped further, the mist froze into irregular pellets of ice, and could be gathered in the hands, in the form of snow. Similarly, as the love grew for the Eternity, the formless gathered the form, and could be felt by the saints. Further growth in the intensity for seeking the Infinite forced the form to become palpable and could be seen by the saints, in all the material manifestations.
A quote- It is said by someone, “If we say that ‘I am Yours’, revolution happens, ‘You are mine’ does not yield results, again the ego…..”

We can palpate the Eternity, if we love It dearly

Anecdote 4- POSITIVITY SHINES
There was a king, who was amblyopic by one eye, and was lame by one leg, due to amputation. He considered himself to a ugly ruler, amongst his ancestors. When he saw the portraits of his ancestors in the lineage, he thought of getting the best portrayal ready, in advance. He made royal proclamation, inviting the best of the artists, for making a portrait for him. Numerous artists, from various origins, came to the court, for seeing the king. Seeing the physiognomy of the king, all of them withdrew, as the sketchy appearance of the monarch muddled their minds, fear subdued their talents; they might be sentenced to death for portraying the reality over the canvas.
Then, a boy came, and announced in the court, that he was ready to make a portrait, and promised to complete it within twenty-four hours. The artists were stupefied, listening to the announcement, and started wishing him luck, for his life. The boy presented the portrait, in the court, within twenty-four hours. The entire royalty applauded in a roar, king rejoiced seeing the creativity. Flabbergasted artists lifted the boy up in their shoulders, and praised him, for his sense of optimism for all edges of life.
He sketched a valorous monarch, riding a horse and ready to release the drawn string of a royal bow, with one of his eyes closed, sighting and shooting at the enemy.
MORAL- We should be optimistic, and then, we can row across the grave raging seas, as well.

Enjoy seeing the optimistic approach of the boy
