Mother Katyayini

Days of Rabi ul-Awwal are going on. ‘Keep Allah first’, is the message behind this month. On the twelfth (1+2=3) of the third month, Rabi ul-Awwal, Prophet Mohammed peace-be-upon-him was born, and on the same date later, he took Mahasamadhi, i.e. renounced his physical body. When we place Allah first, we find a Satguru, and then we never deviate from the path. This is the reason why Allah sent his messenger, that is to guide us.

Every year, we celebrate the number of Sharadiya Navaratri corresponding to our age. We even celebrate other Navaratris, i.e. in March and the other Gupt Navaratri. There is not a single Navaratri when we feel the divine presence totally or surrender completely. Let this Navaratri be the ideal one.

The divine energy took birth in the house of Rishi Katyayan, and thus got the name Katyayini. In that form, Mother slayed the demon Mahishasura, and is hence called Mahishasura Mardini, even Kali, and Chandi. We are aware of this story since time immemorial. But, to date, we haven’t asked Mother to slay the Mahishasura sitting within us. Mahishasura within us is the ego. Lust, greed, anger, jealousy, comparison, and competition.. are the children of Mahishasura. When our mind stays in the world, we cannot call ourselves independent. We depend on money and external praise and then call ourselves independent. Then, we become the sufferer. When we depend on the soul, we are truly independent. ‘O, Mother! Please destroy my ego!’ Why a mother? We feel maximum love from our mother, and the divine mother loves us seventy times a mother’s love. She blesses us with six tenets of life, which are, patience, tolerance, detachment, self-control, faith, and contentment, and gives divine bliss. May Mother Katyayini destroy our ego and make us one with her divine self!

माँ कात्यायिनी-

रबी उल अव्वल के दिन चल रहे हैं। ‘अल्लाह को पहले रखो’, यह इस महीने के पीछे का संदेश है। तीसरे महीने की बारहवीं (1+2=3) को रबी उल-अव्वल, पैगंबर मोहम्मद का जन्म हुआ, और उसी तारीख को बाद में, उन्होंने महासमाधि ली, यानी अपने भौतिक शरीर का त्याग किया। जब हम अल्लाह को पहले रखते हैं, तो हमें एक सतगुरु मिलता है, और फिर हम कभी भी रास्ते से नहीं हटते। यही कारण है कि अल्लाह ने अपना रसूल भेजा, यानी हमारा मार्गदर्शन करने के लिए।

हर साल, हम अपनी उम्र के अनुरूप शारदीय नवरात्रि मनाते हैं। हम अन्य नवरात्रि भी मनाते हैं, यानी मार्च वाली और अन्य गुप्त नवरात्रि। ऐसा एक भी नवरात्र नहीं है जब हम परमात्मा की उपस्थिति को पूर्ण रूप से अनुभव करते हैं या पूर्ण रूप से समर्पण कर देते हैं। इस नवरात्रि को आदर्श बनाएं।

दिव्य ऊर्जा ने ऋषि कात्यायन के घर में जन्म लिया, और इस प्रकार उन्हें कात्यायनी नाम मिला। इस रूप में, माँ ने महिषासुर राक्षस का वध किया, और इसलिए उन्हें महिषासुर मर्दिनी, यहाँ तक कि काली और चंडी भी कहा जाता है। इस कहानी से हम अनादि काल से वाकिफ हैं। लेकिन आज तक हमने मां से अपने भीतर बैठे महिषासुर का वध करने के लिए नहीं कहा। हमारे भीतर महिषासुर रूप में अहंकार है। काम, लोभ, क्रोध, ईर्ष्या, तुलना और प्रतिस्पर्धा… महिषासुर की संतान हैं। जब हमारा मन संसार में रहता है तो हम स्वयं को स्वतंत्र नहीं कह सकते। हम पैसे और बाहरी प्रशंसा पर निर्भर हैं और फिर खुद को स्वतंत्र कहते हैं। फिर हम भुक्तभोगी हो जाते हैं। जब हम आत्मा पर निर्भर होते हैं, तो हम वास्तव में स्वतंत्र होते हैं। ‘हे, माँ! कृपया मेरे अहंकार को नष्ट कर दें!’ एक माँ क्यों? हम अपनी माँ से अधिकतम प्यार महसूस करते हैं, और दिव्य माँ हमें माँ के प्यार से सत्तर गुना प्यार करती है। वह हमें षट संपत्ति का आशीर्वाद देती है, जो हैं, शम, दम. उपरति, तितीक्षा, श्रद्धा और समाधान, और दिव्य आनंद देती हैं। माँ कात्यायनी हमारे अहंकार को नष्ट कर हमें अपने दिव्य स्व के साथ एक करें!
