Even An Ant Gets It
One day, Narayan was resting on the Sheshnaag, and Lakshmi Ji was massaging his feet. Narad Ji asked him, “How is it possible that none of your creatures remain devoid of food?” Mother Lakshmi picked up an ant and placed it in a box with a tiny hole. She said, “We shall observe it for 24 hours. No one shall offer food to it, via any means.” All the demigods and gods sat and observed the box day and night, with unstirred vision. Narad Ji was proactive in all his observations. After the 24th hour, Lakshmi Ji opened the box and saw that the ant was nibbling three grains of sugar. Narad Ji was left spellbound and asked Narayan, “How is this possible? No one placed food in the box, then how did it find it?” Narayan smiled and said, “This is the play of God.” Narad Ji insisted, and thus Narayan said, “When Lakshmi Ji placed the ant in the box, it was already holding three grains of sugar between its legs.”
People may say that many people don’t find food and starve to death. The answer lies in Karma. God prepares everything for you. If you will rush for ‘more and more,’ you will suffer more and more. You should have faith that even if I don’t work hard or cook, I will get my part. Otherwise, you will get all the delicacies, but suffer tremendously, from diabetes or hypertension, thus shall prevent you from eating.

एक चींटी भी इसे प्राप्त करती है
एक दिन नारायण शेषनाग पर विश्राम कर रहे थे और लक्ष्मी जी उनके चरणों की मालिश कर रही थीं। नारद जी ने उनसे पूछा, “ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है कि आपका कोई प्राणी बिना अन्न के न रहे?” मां लक्ष्मी ने एक चींटी को उठाया और एक छोटे से छेद वाले डिब्बे में रख दिया। माँ ने कहा, “हम 24 घंटे इसका निरीक्षण करेंगे। कोई भी इसे किसी भी तरह से भोजन नहीं देगा।” सभी देवी-देवताओं ने बैठकर दिन-रात अविचलित दृष्टि से डिब्बे का निरीक्षण किया। नारद जी भी सक्रिय थे। 24 घंटे के बाद लक्ष्मी जी ने डिब्बा खोला तो देखा कि चींटी चीनी के तीन दाने कुतर रही है। नारद जी मंत्रमुग्ध हो गए और उन्होंने नारायण से पूछा, “यह कैसे संभव है? किसी ने भोजन डिब्बे में नहीं रखा, फिर इसे कैसे मिला?” नारायण मुस्कुराए और बोले, “यह भगवान की लीला है।” नारद जी ने जोर दिया, तो नारायण ने कहा, “लक्ष्मी जी ने जब चींटी को डिब्बे में रखा, तो उसके पैरों के बीच चीनी के तीन दाने पहले से ही थे। जब उसे भूख लगी तो उसने खा लिए।”
लोग कह सकते हैं कि बहुत से लोगों को भोजन नहीं मिलता और वे भूखे मर जाते हैं। इसका उत्तर कर्म में है। भगवान आपके लिए सब कुछ तैयार करता है। यदि आप ‘अधिक से अधिक’ के लिए दौड़ेंगे, तो आप अधिक से अधिक पीड़ित होंगे। आपको विश्वास होना चाहिए कि अगर मैं मेहनत या खाना नहीं बनाऊंगा तो भी मुझे मेरा हिस्सा मिलेगा। अन्यथा, आप सभी स्वादिष्ट व्यंजन प्राप्त करेंगे, लेकिन मधुमेह या उच्च रक्तचाप से अत्यधिक पीड़ित होंगे, इस प्रकार आप खाने से वंचित रहेंगे।
