This is a story from Holy Quran. After years of penance, Prophet Muhammed-peace-be-upon-him received the instruction of Quran, as Divine discourses. When he was deputed by the Divine will, to carry out Divine duties, several enemies rose from the crowd in Mecca. Prophet was ready to serve, but he could not decipher the cause of grudges amongst the people about him. Allah narrated the underlying parable to him, and told him that Prophet Ayyub was also his tool, who was registered for plethora of trials in his life, but he never lost his steadfast faith for Almighty. He was the one who bore the pain, but never suffered. It is said,
God tests us in many ways, but we should remain with our faith and worship God constantly.
Let us see the trials and the prayers which made Prophet Ayyub a Divine messenger.

Prophet Ayyub was a person who was cherished with virtues of service and thankfulness for all the aspects of existence. He was the descendent of Prophet Ibrahim. He was a affluent one, with riches and treasures. But, he served all the people with deep heart, and gave off everything not only to the demandants, but even to the others who couldn’t approach him. People of the land of Egypt loved them deeply.
Now, let us see the circumstances, which never stirred him.
01
One day, several pirates robbed all his assets
He thanked Allah, and said,
O Allah! I am thankful to Thee. You cherished me with lots of riches. But, they were in more need of the assets, than I was. Thou sought me as Thy tool. Thou made the pirates rob the assets, because of their grave needs. I thank you. May they foster more with lot more riches, and forgive them.
02
He was left with nothing. He was merely left with a piece of land, and a house. Within few days, a strong sandstorm hit the city. He was alive
He thanked Allah and said,
O Almighty! I am deeply thankful to Thee. Thou have kept me alive, for I can pray and sing Thy glories, for few more breathes.
03
The land of Egypt fostered in riches, and he was left as bonkers. People mocked at him, commenting on him as a sinner, for he was facing the ‘wraths’ of Allah.
He thanked Allah and said,
Thank you O Lord! I can sing Thy glories even in the midst of cries of a humble mob.
04
The only person on the land of mortals who accompanied him, in all situations, was his wife. They were left with nothing at the end. The sky became their shelter. Fatigue weakened him.
He thanked Allah
05
He was left with no clothes. He gave the remnants to his wife.
He thanked Allah.
06
The scorching heat of the sun, ulcerated his body and sore afflicted him. Soon, the blisters burst and parasites infested the wounds.
He thanked Allah, and said,
O Lord! Thou have chosen this form for service to Thy creations. I am indebted to Thee. All the aspects of this life could serve the planet. How lucky I am?
07
He used to place the parasites back on the wound, if they slipped out of the site, for they may not die because of hunger.
Allah could not test him further. One day, while he was meditating, he received a command to brush his feet lightly on the ground. He did the same, and a lake with crystalline waters arose. Then, he was commanded to take a bath in the waters. He took a dip in the refreshing water and emerged as a young healthy man, devoid of any geriatric or cutaneous problems. Even, his wife took a dip and emerged as a young female.
He thanked Allah, and said,
O Allah! Thou place Thy disciple in a test, and drift him across all the rages of ocean, as a child’s play. I am unaware about the past trails and future predictions. I hail in Thy Name, Thou gave us health, for Thy will be done.
