In the previous episode, we saw how Gadadhar saw Brahmani floating downstream with River Ganga. Now, she sees the young Gadadhar sitting under the tree. She rushes towards him and says, “O my son! Baba!” Soon, Gadadhar says, “O Mother!” Brahmani says, “I felt the energy while I was meditating in the Himalayas. I wished to meet you for a long. Now, the noble time has arrived.” Gadadhar says, “O Mother! I also waited for your arrival.” Mathur Babu and Hridaya are confused seeing the unusual acquaintances. Mathur Babu says, “O Mother, he is not good at health. Kindly do not bother him.” Brahmani says, “Oh! I’m aware. I have come to help him. I can treat him.” Mathur Babu says, “That is quite good. What has happened to him? None of the doctors could diagnose the illness.” Brahmani says, “He is in Mahabhava, the state which Radha Rani and Meera experienced. He is in intense love for Mother Kali.” Mathur Babu says, “O Mother! It’s all ok. Kindly cure him.” Brahmani says, “Sir, kindly collect a few herbs I shall quote and get a grand meal prepared, with all delicacies.” Mathur Babu collects the quoted herbs and gets a grand meal prepared. After all the preparations, Brahmani says, “Sir, kindly give me some space to carry out the procedure.” Mathur Babu and Hridaya leave.
Brahmani prepares a decoction of the herbs and offers it to Gadadhar. Within a few minutes, Gadadhar feels relieved. He experiences a light belly. Brahmani collects small morsels from every plate of each delicacy and offers the naivedya to Mother Ganga, the Bhagvati. Then, she feeds Gadadhar as a mother feeds her child. Gadadhar feels happy eating the delicacies and experiences no gastric discomfort.
The next morning, Mathur Babu and Hridaya come to Gadadhar and find him healthy. They thank Brahmani. Gadadhar says, “Mathur Babu! Don’t worry about me. Mother is with me.” Brahmani says, “Yes, sir. I shall take care of Gadadhar. Even, Hridaya has not gone to his place for a long time. Send him to his village for a few days.” Mathur Babu feels relieved and leaves Gadadhar in Brahmani’s hands.
Brahmani serves Gadadhar as a mother who takes care of her child. Brahmani is a student of the Tantra Vidya discipline (Tantra Vidya involves the disciplines to meditate in the graveyard amidst the piles of human ash and bones. It also includes the practice to experience the state of being detached from the body and even being unaware of the awareness of the self as male or female.) She collects human ash from the funeral pyres and assembles a setup to take Gadadhar on a journey to Lord through Tantra. She performs the rituals for seven days, and Gadadhar experiences a state of oneness within a few seconds every day. She even makes him meditate with a form, for he becomes unaware of his gender. But, Gadadhar reaches the climax within a few milliseconds.
Brahmani says, “O Baba! You are the Eternity. Lord sent me to help you in your illness. You united with the Unity through Tantra disciplinary as well.” Brahmani and Gadadhar go to Mathur Babu and, Brahmani says, “Kindly invite the renowned pandits and scholars to Dakshineshwar. They shall establish a grand notion of my son, Gadadhar.” Mathur Babu invites scholars from Kashi and other places.
Brahmani occupies the stage and says, “My son, Gadadhar is surely an incarnation of Vishnu. O learned ones! Prove this notion with all your knowledge.” They discuss for several weeks and conclude that Gadadhar is an incarnation. Brahmani and Gadadhar even go to Kamarpukar to Gadadhar’s mother. In the course, Brahmani feels boastful for being the Guru of Gadadhar. Gadadhar helps Brahmani to realize the loop in her penance. She realizes her mistake, and prostrates before Gadadhar, while he is in samadhi. Gadadhar rises and hugs Brahmani. Brahmani was a sadhak when she met Gadadhar, but now she feels no difference between Gadadhar and herself.
Moral: There are millions of paths to the same destination. Lord is equidistant to us, irrespective of the path we acquire. It depends on the speed with pick up to reach the destination. He loves us seventy times a mother’s love and runs towards us as we step towards him. In reality, we are in his lap, but we do not feel it. It is important to remain blank in all stages of life, with the Name swirling within our existence persistently.
