Our bundle is the best

Once there lived a man who was a staunch follower of God. He was a good man, tried to feel His presence all day long, and even performed pilgrimages. But, he had a cumbersome life. A plethora of problems hovered about him. He often reflected upon his past deeds and even introspected before doing a job but could not decipher the cause. One day, he felt doomed and prayed to God for helping him to get rid of the issues. While he was sitting under the tree, he saw a vision. Allah asked him to jot down all his problems on several pieces of paper, tie them into a bundle, and then hang the packet on a branch. Allah assured him to free him from the problems. The man rejoiced. Allah portrayed a deal that he had to collect another bundle belonging to any other person, after hanging his bundle. The man agreed.

He noted down all the problems, segregated them into several chits, and created a bundle. He went to the tree and hanged the lot. Then, he remembered that he had to take back another lot. He began searching the smallest bundle. When he found the same, a thought popped up in his mind. He tried to decipher the contents of the packet. The possibilities of his death, disease, or more sufferings began to unfurl in his mind. He moved towards the next bundle. The thoughts revolved again. He thought that he could invite grave unknown sufferings on collecting the bundle of others. He untied his bundle and left. Back home, he thanked Allah for opening his eyes. He realized that He was with him always and would drift him across the raging seas.

Even if we thank Him for each healthy hair and tooth, we will not be able to pay the debts for His graces.
