Now, let us see few queries and its solutions, given to us during a beautiful discussion. This conversation shall surely quench many thirsty beings.
1. We often say that when the fruits of our previous karmas ripen, we receive the blessings of a true Guru. But, why don't people realize the Self, as they get initiated by the Guru? Answer- This notion is true that fruits of good deeds make us capable to receive the blessings of the Guru, but we are not prepared to receive the blessings. The preparation involves surrendering to the Divine will. We are still chained in the knots of 'me and mine'. Once we get rid of this imprisonment, we will see that we are not different from the Guru, and even the world will be our replica. 2. The concept of virtue and vice are also under the jurisdiction of the Divine will. Mind is not involved with its specific individuality. Answer- No, the action of distinguishing between virtue and vice and even its enactment is under the mind. Lord cannot change the things, until the threads of puppet's will are surrendered to the great puppeteer. It is said that neither a fragment of dust moves without the will of Lord. This quote is applicable in case of dust or leaf, as it does not have its own will. But, humans have the free will. If we surrender the mind at its feet, He does not let us fall in the vicious web of virtue and vice, and makes us work for the welfare of the cosmos. At this stage, 'me and mine' disappears into nothingness. 3. But, the notion of Lord as a doer appears contradictory to the above justification? Answer- Lord cannot do anything until the will becomes his. Though our deeds might have made us receive the blessings but, we are stuck in 'me and mine'. We have two cases. One shows that people enjoy after they meet a Guru, as they receive name and fame in the society. Another case involves a silent bland life with a motive to realize Lord. We do not need to cherish sorrow, for realizing Lord. Until we enjoy the bliss (ananda) in our mind, we cannot become effective (asardaar). Blissful state of mind is inevitable for realizing Lord. If we are unable to enjoy the bliss, we should begin smiling at every moment. Thanking at all faces and phases of life will make us unveil the bliss. We do not smile, as we have not unveiled the bliss. 4. Now-a-days, we are able to practice surrendering to Lord, to a better extent. We used to cherish the ego in the times of ovations and successes. But, we try to surrender to the Lord, as we realize our mind set. But,... Answer- We are able to improve to better extents, through the blessings of the Guru. We will continue improving gradually. We think that blessings should make us reach the seventh heaven. This is possible if we receive the blessings with a 'beautiful' receiving end. Even, Narendra didn't have that receiving end when he met Thakur Ji. We stand no where before such saints. If we feel the presence of the Lord, we will be freed. The above mentioned P's shall make us reach to the answer.
