Rama is a devotee to Lord Rama. He used to worship Rama every day and chanted his name. One day he got a nightmare. In that nightmare somebody was trying to kill him. He was scared and terrified. He thought that he was going to die. He was repeating Lord Rama’s name with fear. When he was chanting, Lord Rama appeared and walked towards him. He was repeating Rama’s name but there was still some doubt if he was going to save him or not. Lord Rama came to him and passed. Then he thought, “What was I doing, Lord Rama was in front of me, but I was still scared that I would die. Where is my faith? I gave more importance to fear than the Lord.” Then he turned back to the Lord with faith. Lord Rama looked back at him and vanished. After that he woke up from his dream. From that day on, he vowed to change himself and become fearless.
Moral – Do not repeat God’s name like a parrot, repeat it with faith.
