Let us see a quote “Strength is Life, Weakness is Death”. Does this strength mean physical strength or mental or emotional wellbeing. This has been quoted with a special reference to Srimad Bhagwat Gita. It is an ancient classical treatise based on conversation between Arjun and Sri Krishna, in the epicenter of battle field. Our scenario is homologous. Life is the battle and the opposing armies are the emotions, thoughts and physical ailments. Let us imagine ourselves as Arjun, standing in the axis of the arena.
A- O Madhusudan! I can’t kill my kins.

K- O Kaunteya ! The duties are inevitable. You are ought to do them.

A- O Krishna ! I am trembling with emotional turbulence.

K- O Arjun! Surrender at my Divine Feet and you shall be free.

All saw the viraat swaroop of Lord Krishna. Arjun saw the divine and opulent form of Lord.
K- O Kaunteya! I am the origin of all creations. Everything proceeds from me.

A – Having seen Your Universal Form, that I had never seen before, I feel great joy. But, yet my mind trembles with hear.
K- O Parth! Repudiate your weakness. Otherwise, you shall be called dead. Realize your strength.

O Arjuna! Lift your head and see that they are already dead. I am aware of all your births and theirs as well. They are ought to manifest themselves into the next chapter.

Then, Lord Krishna unveils the curtains of doubts in Arjun’s mind. He sees the Majestic form of Krishna in His heart.

Now, Let us understand the quote. The term “strength” means the spiritual energy. It is hidden within us. Surrendering at the Divine feet of Lord, shall unveil it. Loving everyone without a speck of expectation, is the job. Because the attachments are the greatest hinderances. Death is just like switching a chapter to the next one. May this renunciation descend unto us.
