Narrator: There was a boy who had a tree as a friend. He would spend lengthy times with his generous friend playing.
Tree: Come and eat my juicy apples and swing in my long branches.
Boy: MMMMmmmmm! These apples are delicious and I love to swing in your robust branches.
Narrator: The boy went away for a few years and the tree was depressed but the boy came back as a teenager.
Tree: Enjoy my apples and swing in the branches of mine.
Boy: Na! I want some money to buy something.
Tree: You could pluck my wonderful apples and sell them in the market.
Narrator: The teenager went away with the ripe apples and didn’t appear for the next few years and again the tree was heartbroken. Fortunately, the boy came back as an adult.
Tree: Swing in my branches and read beside me.
Adult: No thank you. I want to build my own house and get married.
Tree: You could cut my branches off and make a house with them.
Adult: Thank you very much indeed.
Narrator: The man went off and the tree was happy but since the man was away for 10 years and the faithful tree was heart broken but again the man came.
Tree: You can’t climb my branches but can climb my trunk.
Adult: No thank you. I want a boat to go on it and sail to Brazil.
Narrator: The man cut the tree and all was rest of the magnificent tree was a stump but the man went away again but for 20 years. As always the man (who turned up as an old man) came back.
Tree : Sorry Friend I have nothing else to give.
Old Man: You have always given tree, all I need is some where to sit.
Tree: A Stump! A Stump is superb for sitting.
Old Man: Thank You Tree Many many times…
Narrator: So the man sat down and thanked the tree and finally died but happily.
Moral of the story
To be happy always give and sometimes take when you needed as it will make you happy.
