Tips for Meditation

1.Find a particular space in such a way that you can return to the same space to practice.

2. Try to sit in the same position always. The most crucial point is back should be straight.

3. Daily sit and meditate at the same time, preferably morning between 3 am – 6am and Evening between 4pm-6.30pm.

4. For Beginners, controlling senses helps to focus on meditation, This can be achieved by focusing on inhale and exhale through nose, imagining your favourite physique or light in front of eyes, saying favourite chanting inside, hearing what you chanting through ears.

5. Imagine yourself sitting in front your favourite place like near banks of the river, in front of sea, beautiful garden and concentrate on breathing or do naam jap.

6. Imagine yourself in front of mirror and see how do you feel while meditating.Imagine how do you feel with different emotions.Focus how do you look when you are in peace and happy.

7. If still not able to concentrate, do Naam Jap and ask for help and his grace.

8. Daily meditate even for a while. eventually technique becomes intuitive.

9. Be accountable to God before going to bed and speak to him how many times you imbibed his qualities during the day.

10. Ask God to help you to remember him always.

11. Always remember God is the “Doer” and you are just an instrument.

12. Before sleeping do night mediation and seek forgiveness

13. Spend time with nature particularly in the morning like walking, gardening etc.
