As per Ramakrishna Ji, if you have said I will come to your house at 10, then you should reach there by 10 exactly. If, for any reason, you cannot reach them at the given time, inform them about the delay.

Guruji also used to follow this. Once Guruji said, “I will not have dinner today.” He had said this in the morning, but in the evening, he was extremely hungry. But because he said in the morning that he wasn’t having dinner, he didn’t eat dinner.

Like this, all the Satpurush have always walked on truth. What is the benefit of telling the truth? Baat Se Gira Manav aur dal Se Gira Vannar Dono Ki Gati Kuch Nahi Hoti If a monkey swings from one branch to the other and falls, the other monkeys kill him. Similarly, you said I would do something, and by not doing it, you have to lie so many times. When you start telling a lie, you have to add multiple lies to your one lie. If you say the truth, you will not need to remember what you said, but if you lie, you have to remember every lie.

A time will come when all the negativity of those lies will hurt you. The best thing to do is to surrender yourself to God within, and from today on, I will say the truth.

When you start speaking the truth, then whatever comes out of your mouth becomes the truth. Because then Maa Saraswati will speak from your mouth. If the truth goes away, then everything is gone, including your character.

If you are a liar, no one will respect you. No one will be able to trust you. You might devote your life to helping others, but a lie is a lie. So, pray to God and tell him not to hear a single lie from my mouth. Never deceive yourself or others.

If you tell a lie, your character will be damaged, and nobody will trust you. You will never benefit from your lies. If you said any lie may be due to any reason, ask for forgiveness from God.”

A girl said, “People around us will stop trusting us if we keep on telling lies.” Teacher said, “You will stop believing in yourself as well. It will be difficult for you to remember all the lies, and that will make you suffer.”

A boy said, “If we have complete faith in God, then no situation will arise in which we would have to lie. It happens in school; we can see someone is lying, and it makes us suffer inside, which brings lots of negativity. But if we think God is within them as well, then we will not be sure.” Teacher said, “Yes, he had his reasons to lie; it is his karma. We don’t have to say anything to them. Shut your mouth and save your life.”

A lady said, “We generally lie because we are scared of something. So, if we have complete faith in God, then we will never lie.” Teacher said, “Yes. Repeat God’s name and love him.”

A lady said, “We should not lie. To hide a lie, we have to say 100 more lies.” Teacher said, “If your kid asks for something that you are not in favour of giving them, you tell them, “We will see later”. Now we will be behind you because you said later, and if you do not give it to them, they will say the mother is a liar. Clearly tell them you will not get this thing. You should be careful about the time you have given someone to meet. If you are getting delayed for any reason, inform them beforehand. God himself is waiting for you through that person, and if you get late intentionally, then you are punished from within.” The lady said, “Nobody trusts the person who lies.” Teacher said, “Yes, and they do not trust themselves as well. There, Naam Jap will also not be that effective. The web of their lies is so dense that God is unable to show himself to them.”

A lady said, “Lying will not punish others; it will punish yourself. We shouldn’t lie for fun as well. Keep God in your heart so you will not be put in any situation where you have to live.”

Teacher said, “Satyam Bruyat, Priyam Bruyat. Do not say the truth, which can hurt others.”

इसी तरह सभी सतपुरुष हमेशा सत्य पर चलते रहे हैं। सच बोलने से क्या फायदा? बात से गिरा मानव और दाल से गिरा वन्नार दोनो की गति कुछ नहीं होती अगर कोई बंदर एक शाखा से दूसरी शाखा में झूलकर गिर जाता है तो दूसरे बंदर उसे मार डालते हैं। इसी तरह, आपने कहा था कि मैं कुछ करूंगा, और ऐसा नहीं करके, आपको कई बार झूठ बोलना पड़ता है। जब आप झूठ बोलना शुरू करते हैं, तो आपको अपने एक झूठ में कई झूठ जोड़ने होते हैं। अगर आप सच कहते हैं तो आपको यह याद रखने की जरूरत नहीं होगी कि आपने क्या कहा था, लेकिन अगर आप झूठ बोलते हैं तो आपको हर झूठ को याद रखना होगा।

एक समय आएगा जब उन झूठों की सारी नकारात्मकता आपको चोट पहुंचाएगी। सबसे अच्छी बात यह है कि आप अपने आप को भीतर के परमेश्वर को समर्पित कर दें, और आज से, मैं सत्य कहूंगा।

जब आप सच बोलना शुरू करते हैं, तब आपके मुंह से जो निकलता है वह सच बन जाता है। क्योंकि तब मां सरस्वती आपके मुंह से बोलेंगी। अगर सच्चाई चली जाती है, तो सब कुछ चला जाता है, जिसमें आपका चरित्र भी शामिल है।

यदि आप झूठे हैं, तो कोई भी आपका सम्मान नहीं करेगा। कोई भी आप पर भरोसा नहीं कर पाएगा। आप दूसरों की मदद करने के लिए अपना जीवन समर्पित कर सकते हैं, लेकिन एक झूठ एक झूठ है। इसलिए, भगवान से प्रार्थना करें और उसे बताएं कि मेरे मुंह से एक भी झूठ न सुनें। कभी भी खुद को या दूसरों को धोखा न दें।

किसी ने कहा, “मैं समझ गया हूं कि जैसे ही हम अपनी आत्मा की ओर बढ़ते हैं, झूठ बोलना मुश्किल हो जाता है। किसी को चोट पहुंचाने या किसी के साथ गलत करने के विचार भी बंद हो जाते हैं क्योंकि हमारी आंतरिक आवाज हमें सही और गलत बताती है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “महाभारत में कृष्ण जी ने युधिष्ठिर से अश्वत्थामा की मृत्यु के बारे में झूठ बोलने के लिए कहा। कृष्ण जी सतगुरु हैं, और अपनी आज्ञाकारिता में उन्होंने वह झूठ बोला, लेकिन छोटे से झूठ की वजह से हम जानते हैं कि क्या हुआ। अश्वत्थामा और युधिष्ठिर ने भी उस झूठ की चेतना का सामना किया। वह घटना सबकी भलाई के लिए होनी थी, लेकिन क्यों न थोड़ा झूठ भी बोला जाए? कभी-कभी ऐसा हो सकता है कि आपको अपनी पत्नी या बहन से झूठ बोलना पड़े, लेकिन अगर भगवान चाहते हैं कि आप ऐसा करें, तो ठीक है, लेकिन गलत तरीके से इसका उपयोग करना सही नहीं है। तुम आध्यात्मिक पथ पर आगे नहीं बढ़ोगे।

एक लड़के ने कहा, “हमें झूठ नहीं बोलना चाहिए, यहां तक कि मजाक में भी। शिक्षक ने पूछा, “आपको झूठ क्यों नहीं बोलना चाहिए? लड़के ने जवाब दिया, “क्योंकि झूठ बोलना अच्छी बात नहीं है। शिक्षक ने कहा, “अगर तुम झूठ बोलोगे तो क्या होगा? यदि आप झूठ बोलते हैं, तो आपका चरित्र क्षतिग्रस्त हो जाएगा, और कोई भी आप पर भरोसा नहीं करेगा। आपको अपने झूठ से कभी फायदा नहीं होगा। यदि आपने कहा है कि कोई झूठ किसी भी कारण से हो सकता है, तो भगवान से क्षमा मांगें।

एक लड़की ने कहा, “अगर हम झूठ बोलते रहेंगे तो हमारे आसपास के लोग हम पर भरोसा करना बंद कर देंगे। शिक्षक ने कहा, “आप खुद पर भी विश्वास करना बंद कर देंगे। आपके लिए सभी झूठों को याद रखना मुश्किल होगा, और इससे आपको पीड़ा होगी।

एक लड़के ने कहा, “अगर हमें ईश्वर पर पूरा भरोसा होगा, तो ऐसी कोई स्थिति उत्पन्न नहीं होगी जिसमें हमें झूठ बोलना पड़े। यह स्कूल में होता है; हम देख सकते हैं कि कोई झूठ बोल रहा है, और यह हमें अंदर से पीड़ित करता है, जो बहुत सारी नकारात्मकता लाता है। लेकिन अगर हमें लगता है कि भगवान उनके भीतर भी है, तो हम निश्चित नहीं होंगे। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हाँ, उसके पास झूठ बोलने के अपने कारण थे; यह उसका कर्म है। हमें उनसे कुछ कहने की जरूरत नहीं है। अपना मुंह बंद करो और अपनी जान बचाओ।

एक महिला ने कहा, “हम आम तौर पर झूठ बोलते हैं क्योंकि हम किसी चीज से डरते हैं। इसलिए, अगर हमें भगवान में पूरा विश्वास है, तो हम कभी झूठ नहीं बोलेंगे। शिक्षक ने कहा, “हाँ। भगवान का नाम दोहराएं और उससे प्यार करें।

एक महिला ने कहा, “झूठ बोलने से दूसरों को दंडित नहीं किया जाएगा; यह खुद को दंडित करेगा। हमें मजे के लिए भी झूठ नहीं बोलना चाहिए। भगवान को अपने दिल में रखें ताकि आपको किसी भी स्थिति में नहीं रखा जाएगा जहां आपको रहना है।
