Baba Farid Shakkarganj

When Baba Farid Shakkarganj was very small and though very sharp intellect; would be mischievous sometimes. His mother would say that all five times if he performs Namaz, he will be rewarded by his favourite sweet – gud. One day she forgot to put gud beneath his mayallah on which nanha Baba Farid used to sit and perform Namaz. She prayed hard from place where she had been since that day’s Namaz wouldn’t be performed.

At her utter surprise, when she returned home, she found out that Namaz was performed by nanha Baba Farid and wrappers of gud were also present beneath mayallah.

Moral of story

Faith on Allah. If you go one step near Allah, he runs towards you and embraces you.
