This is one of my recent realisations that loosing hair brings a lot of salient features and benefits that we tend to overlook most of the times. It started while talking to a friend when he wanted to know what all measures I took when I started to loose my hair. Eventually, he had been facing some hair loss and he was worried about it. When I told him, I did nothing he was actually shocked. I just accepted it as a part of my life journey. This event actually made me review my hair loss journey and made me realise about the immense benefits it has bought to my life
Economic
On the economic front, I can say that I don’t have to spend any money on shampoo, conditioner, gel, comb, or say any kind of hair grooming products or accessories. How much does it save overall? I wouldn’t say substantial but saving every penny counts and it does contribute towards my savings.
How could I forget that I don’t have to visit the barbers anymore and that’s another addition to my savings. I have got a hair trimmer now which I use weekly to keep my hair duly groomed.
Productivity
As I don’t have to makeup my hair every time I shower, I change clothes, I get ready to go somewhere – I am saving a substantial amount of time by being efficient and I can use that time for other productive tasks. Moreover, I don’t have to make any visits to the barbers bring in additional time saving that I could use for more productive tasks.
Spiritual
Being bald lines you up naturally in the spiritual journey like monks and saints who keep their heads shaved. The monks actually feature shaved head to endorse their journey towards spirituality. Is it also true other way round that loosing hair naturally starts orienting you towards spirituality? I can’t say that for sure as I am not aware of any research or statistics on the topic but I can definitely say that this has happened with me and I have turned more spiritual after loosing my hair. You never know that in future someone really does some research on the topic and finds the correlation that losing hair makes you more spiritual and it is proved as a sign of becoming more spiritual, naturally.
Health
Everyone is aware of the significance of vitamin D and we all know that the best source of vitamin D is direct sunlight. Note that your skin exposed in direct sunlight helps build the vitamin D. With no hair on the head you have the clear advantage over the people with hair as you expose more skin and build more vitamin D. In fact, some doctors say that the body part that are responsible for processing vitamin D are hands, forearms, legs, face and head.
Conclusion
As you can see, I have no reason to be concerned about loosing my hair. On the other hand it brings a lot of delight in the form of economic gains, productivity enhancements, spiritual upliftments and last but not the least the health benefits. Finally what makes me really super confident that अब कोई मेरा एक भी बाल बाँका नहीं कर सकता.
You Absolutely amazing and different perspective to see it . Love the fact that you have related it to spirituality.
Love the fact that you have related it to spirituality.
Very nice article about hair. Hair is the main part in the body which leaves first impression about the person who will see the superficial aspect in the world. It shows that the author has overcome the weakness of stereotype that exists in the world.
I am quite inspired by your acceptance. I will try it on myself.
Very nicely you explained the complete process from economical aspect to spiritual.. It’s absolutely inspirational..
I agree 100%. Embracing my baldness has improved my life in so many ways. Instead of trying to hide something I can’t change, showing it off has brought me much joy.
